it's been like this for like the past 5 years, every few months people try to fix it but it never works. AU's or good NON-AU's still die out and lose to crack rps.
Been here for nearly 6 years and crack never seems to disappear.
I'm gonna be shady (sorry comment below me) and say that some people don't know quality content.
not to be shady, but it's true. nowadays, I belive that many people consider a good roleplay a place with many members and great activity, popularity also plays a part in this. I wouldn't say it's entirely the reason for many nonaus blowing up, but I can't deny the fact that one's "popularity" is also the reason for it, which is quite sad because people who actually put effort into their places don't even to barely get a chance to breathe.
