born in the unfortunate position of eldest daughter yet the middle child, yang minkyung was burdened to be the perfect lady yet woefully ignored in favor of other siblings. it made sense she would grow to admire the prowess of her stepmother, a successful matchmaker. seeing a younger version of herself in minkyung, her stepmother thoroughly spoiled her, promising her only the best of the best for her precious stepdaughter. unfortunately, minkyung’s ego grew over the years, making her insufferable and demanding. since her debut, she has had a multitude of broken engagements (most ended on her terms since the men /clearly/ did not live up to her impossible standards). not wanting to settle for anything less, minkyung continues her search for the perfect husband while working as a matchmaker of the elite with her stepmother.
