Jia, from the time she was born was labled as 'unwanted'. When she was born, because of her gender, her parents sold her in an auction at the young age of only three days old. She was sold to a woman who was old and needed joy in her life, since she was unable to have a child. The woman, called Baizhen, made Jia feel like she was wanted. She raised the child in love, noursihed her and acted as if a mother. However, when Jia had turned eight years old, Baizhen had passed away because of age. She left behind a note, of which reads: "My child from another womb. You have made me love, now you must love someone else as I have." Jia never understood the letter, but keeps it with her today. Lost and hungry, Jia found a job as a kitchen maid, cleaning in a castle that was said to have demons and mystical creatures. She hesitantly went in, and lives where she has for years. However, her job soon changed to a slave when her body became developed. Her s grew larger and her hips curved out, which got her much ual attention from males in the castle. Most nights, she is found beaten and bloody, since she is afraid and sometimes refuses to do what some men do. Jia has trust issues that are still with her to this day, and bad memories that will haunt her forever.
