The sweet smell of decaying plant matter and rain mingled with the cool and gentle breeze, which swayed the upper branches of century-old oaks. It was here, on one of these very streets that you find yourself standing about, taking in the fresh air. If we went back a minute, you wouldn’t be here. Actually, you would be nowhere and nobody in this universe. You came from another earth, a world unconnected from this one, but so close you might just touch it with the front of your nose. You came for some sightseeing and to observe how other-worlders occupy themselves on a beautiful spring day. People don’t practice magic here, but it certainly was in the air, copious and lingering in the petrichor and decaying leaves. Magicians at home are always trying to glean more power and wisdom from the magic you have already tamed and stifled for the last ten-thousand years. After centuries of overuse, your resources are running dry.

It is here, in the midst of an industrialized civilization, that magic still flowed rampant and wild through a world. A surge of energy courses through you veins. You're alive again. Magic can be held in any sanctuary, being contained within the sights, sounds and smells of a world. "Contained" seems like the wrong word for magic in this world, unlike your own where such power has been dammed up and caged. Here, magic is in symbiosis with reality. At home, where magic always had fixed routes to guide you, here it doesn’t take notice of you. You're left to wander and wonder again, like a child.

So the basic idea is that you (aka stray kids and ateez) have come to this world in pursuit of a magic source as your own realm has run out. Here you decide to stay and live your life in an apartment like complex as if you were human. You can be anything supernatural related (i.e. vampire, werewolf, witch, ghost, demon, etc.) If it's really off the wall, run it by the head admin first please.
