Unlike the distant land of Solaria that claims the son and moon are estranged lovers, the kingdom of Soleluna has a differing view.

According to legend, there were once two siblings, Dalsun and Haeshik, who were pursued by a tiger that had devoured their mother. They prayed so hard to survive that a rope descended from the heavens and allowed the two to climb to safety, where they became the sun and the moon.

The king of Gamangnara - the kingdom of darkness - sought to pluck the Sun and the Moon from the sky for himself to bring light for his people. He sent his hounds, the Bulgae, to capture them. However, when the first Bulgae tried to bite the Sun, it was hot and the beast couldn't hold onto it. The second tried to claim the Moon, but it was too icy. The king didn't give up, though, and it is said that the lunar and solar eclipses are a sign that the dogs are back at it. The darkness is them biting at their heels, trying to steal the sun and the moon from the sky.

However, that isn't the whole story. After many failed attempts to capture the Sun and the Moon, the Bulgae realized that they would never succeed, but they couldn't go back to their greedy king with their tails tucked between their legs. They decided to stay beneath the Sun and the Moon's watchful gaze and protect them from the king. Solar and lunar eclipses are actually their attempt to hide the siblings from him by blanketing them in darkness. They passed this reverence down to their progeny (wolves), who grew up in the light and earned the sibling's blessing.

Wolves have come to revere the Sun and the Moon equally in Soleluna. Those that call Haeshik their patron are often blessed with the innate ability to withstand heat and possess warm-colored coats (brown, tan, red). Wolves that align more with Dalsun have an affinity for ice and their coats are more cool toned (white, grey). However, it is said that in times of great peril, the wolves of the past awakened the power of both - The Blue Flame - that manifests itself as whatever they need to change the tide in their favor.

Nowadays, wolves have come to interpret the stories in their own way. Many strive to find a sense of balance and strength within themselves, Their own inner Blue Flame.

this is a mature rp. you must be 20+ OOC to join. Your faceclaims and characters must also be 20+. 

All ethnicities, genders, orientations, and writing styles will be accepted. deceased faceclaims, those involved in significant controversies, and those who specifically have expressed not wanting to be roleplayed are not allowed. everything else is free game. 

please bear in mind that a/b/o lore has always been heavily intertwined with concepts such as kink, mpreg/lpreg, and fantasy ism. if you find these concepts uncomfortable, this may not be the place for you. 

inactivity is 2 weeks. we aim to be relatively self paced. there is a room which may be used for journal entries or oneshots while waiting for partners to reply or to help boost muse. please remember to tag obvious triggers. 

you will receive a warning in PM for inactivity. that way everyone can keep their walls nice and pretty. you will have 48 hours to respond before you are removed. 

must have a profile picture and a basic profile up within 48 hours of acceptance. 

a full hiatus is three weeks. please only take these if something comes up where you don’t think you will be able to log on at all. you must give an estimated return date, but may message the admin if there is any change to that. you will  receive a message from the admin when your hiatus is up and you must reply within 24 hours or you will be removed from the roleplay. this is to prevent character hogging. 

THREE CHARACTER LIMIT. you may request a second immediately, but a third will need a total of 300 points collectively. more characters after that will be negotiated on a case by case basis. 

once your first two weeks are up, you may have your character request a personal room. move in couples are discouraged, but not unwelcome. dating ban of one month and a mating ban of one month after your couple becomes official. take your time to build your relationships.

pregnancy is allowed. partners must group message an admin for approval (unless it is a pregnancy by an NPC for single parent muses). however, we do not allow playable kid characters. like with mature content, talking about this in the general chat is discouraged. there will be a room for parents to discuss their pregnancy and experience child rearing with other like-minded wolves when the time comes.  

since this is a mature RP, I'M NOT HERE TO POLICE YOUR mature content. keep it in mature rated rooms or in private. BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHER PLAYERS AND UNDERSTAND THAT THEY MIGHT NOT BE COMFORTABLE WITH SEEING CERTAIN CONTENT. EXTREME PLOTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE AGREED UPON BY BOTH PARTIES. surprises are all well and good, but do not take away a character or roleplayer's right to make their own decisions.

please be considerate by tagging potentially triggering and extreme subjects with trigger warnings on the top of your posts that contain them. not just once, but on every single one while you are engaging in the content. do not let it bleed into public chats. the magic word is what was your favorite movie while growing up?
