@wu yifan A breath of fresh air.

That was exactly what Joonmyun needed, he realized as he woke up this morning feeling stuffy inside his home. His blond hair messy and sticking up in every direction and his eyes barely even open. It was the weekend, and though the thought of spending the majority of his time in the comfort of his own home was highly tempting, he had told himself that he would actually get out and about as he could really use it. Besides, he had some errands - which he had been putting off for quite a while - to run today and unfortunately there was no convenient way for him to get them done all the way from the warmth of his bed. Oh, how Joonmyun would rejoice the day he could get things done like that.

Now, he had managed to get himself out of bed, but as soon as he did so he began to regret it as he was hit with a pounding headache, reminding him of last night's activities. "Too many drinks.." He only mumbled, shaking his head in shame. Obviously the concept of drinking in moderation was present at all in his head last night as he must have gotten sloppy drunk. He could only wonder how he had ended up getting home safely. He brought a hand up to his forehead, wincing a bit at the pain. Coffee. That's what he needed, good, strong coffee and a nice breath of strong air. But unfortunately, Joonmyun had ran out of coffee earlier in the week, and needed to go to the store, but for now he settled on walking over to one of his favorite cafés, deciding to kill two birds with one stone; he could get his coffee and get a breath of fresh air.

After managing to throw himself together, making sure he looked at least decent in his cardigan, button up shirt, and jeans, he began to make his way to café, trying his best to not look like he was suffering from a major hangover, but judging from the way he couldn't help but wince every now and then, instinctively bringing a hand to his forehead, he was sure that his efforts were all in vain. He would be fine once he got his coffee, he told himself, considering getting some breakfast as well, considering if he could he would be able to hold it down. He looked at the time on the screen of his phone noticing that it was already 11 am. Perhaps he would just settle for some brunch instead he then decided, not having realized that he had slept in that much, which was quite rare for him as usually he was an early riser.

Eyes lighting up as he finally reached the building, Joonmyun pulled open the door and entered, the lovely scent of coffee mixed with sweets hitting his nostrils and he didn't hesitate to breathe it in. Although having a killer headache wasn't the perfect way to start off his day, it would certainly be getting better from here on out he realized as he walked up to the front counter and ordered a caramel frappe along with a donut - he had completely forgot about his goal to start eating healthy as soon as his gaze landed on the sweet pastry - and happily paid for his meal before sitting down at a table and waiting for his order to be ready. As he waited, he tried to think of exactly all that had happened last night, as he wanted to make sure he didn't do something completely idiotic while he was drunk, but he was definitely having a hard time collecting his memories.

That may have been because as soon as his gaze landed on a familiar face entering the café, all thoughts and memories vanished from his mind.

Joonmyun stared hard in complete disbelief, and even took the time to rub his eyes because he simply couldn't believe what, or rather who, he was seeing. The exact face that still made his heart beat speed up after so long. The exact face, that so long ago, Joonmyun would have no problem approaching as soon as he caught sight of it with a bright smile of his own on. The face of his first.. well.. everything. Wu Yifan. The male froze, feeling the sudden urge to both sprint away and sprint directly towards him. However most of all, he just wished he could be invisible. He was going through emotional turmoil as he didn't know whether he wanted the other to recognize him, or if he hoped that his newly blond hair - much different from the natural brown he had when he was with the other - somehow made him look different. Joonmyun was confused, so much so that he nearly didn't hear his name called, signaling that his order was ready. His eyes widened and he bit his lower lip as he stood up, hurrying over to the front counter and grabbing his order with a bow of the head and a thank you before making his way back to his seat as fast as humanly possible.
