-- The King's Theatre

@Viper "It's refreshing, isn't it?" He grinned, opening his eyes and peering down at her. His hand reached out, lightly brushing wild curls off her her shoulder. The city was bad for his sensitive ears. And while his nose wasn't too fond of the dust and mold, his ears were grateful to have a break from the constant honking, car alarms, breaking glass, you name it.
Viper 9 years ago
@Iron Wolf Kat cocked her head, filing that bit away for later. She kneeled down, resting her hands on his thighs. "You don't hear the city, though. It's quiet." Kat didn't believe it at first, she had to sit in each and every room in the basement before she did. This was the only room in the entire building that you couldn't hear the city from. She figured it was sound proof and that any noise inside the room wasn't heard outside.
Iron Wolf [A] 9 years ago
@Viper Lukas smirked as his blue eyes slowly closed. He kept his breathing even and normal, sitting calmly. It was almost a little relaxing. They couldn't hear the sounds of the city here. He didn't mind it. "You mean the beating of your heart?" He could hear it, pulsing in his ears with his own, along with the scuffles here and there across the hall of what he assumed was a rat or two.
Viper 9 years ago
@Iron Wolf Kat shrugged, content to ignore his questions. "Close your eyes." She pushed off the wall, circling him slowly. Her eyes couldn't see very well in the dark, but she could make out his outline in the darkness, and for a moment he looked dangerous. Kat shook off the thought and kept going walking a full circle around him. "Can you hear that?" She asked, stopping in front of him.
Iron Wolf [A] 9 years ago
@Viper Lukas locked eyes with the beauty as he sat down in the chair. It creaked under him, and he wondered how long it would take for him to end up in the floor on his . He gave her a skeptical look. "This isn't some form of new kid hazing or anything, is it?" He had lost control of the situation. He literally had no idea what was coming for him.
Viper 9 years ago
@Iron Wolf "Sit down." She leans against the wall directly in front of the chair, turning off her flashlight. Kat had found the room like this the first time she'd come there, it didn't take her very long to figure out what it had been used for.

In the darkness Kat allowed herself to grin, her lips curving upward as she reveled in the chance to show someone else what she had discovered.
Iron Wolf [A] 9 years ago
@Viper He looked around, taking in the hallway of rooms. He could imagine it bustling with flappers and jazz musicians on a Saturday night, ready for a show. He followed her into the room, a confused look on his face.

"What's so cool about a chair?' He questioned, looking over at her with a raised eyebrow. He figured there had to be something significant to it,
Viper 9 years ago
@Iron Wolf "My hero." She remarks, dryly, handing him his flash light before sliding past. She walked down the hall, pointing out different things with the beam of her flashlight. "Those were dressing rooms, private ones and then ones for everyone else."

She stopped at a door, pushing it open with her toe. "This is it." The room was completely empty, except for a single chair sitting in the middle of the room facing the back wall. Kat walked around it, careful not to touch the chair. She didn't say anything, just shined her light at the chair and waited for his reaction.
Iron Wolf [A] 9 years ago
@Viper Of course he could open it. He could rip it from it's hinges. If he wanted to. But one thing he had to practice before the move was restraint. Something he wasn't always good at. But there was always purpose in impressing a lady.

"Of course I can." He mused as he handed her his flashlight. He tugged on it at first, to see where the best place was to get a grip. The muscles in his biceps flexed as he tugged it open in one swoop. Though he let out a heavy breath, feigning hard work. He leaned in the entryway.

"Watch your step." He suggested as they continued down the dark hallway.
Viper 9 years ago
@Iron Wolf Kat lead him down some stairs, into the basement of the theatre. A door stood at the bottom of the stairs, hiding a long passageway with Kat's favorite part of the theatre. The door was shut, and when she tried to open it at normal strength it didn't budge. Internally she sighed, knowing she couldn't open the door herself. She looked back at him, raising an eyebrow.

"You think you can open it?" She asked, figuring he probably could, though not as easily as Kat could if she was allowed to.
Iron Wolf [A] 9 years ago
@Viper Damn, he wanted to touch her. He wanted to runs his hands over her smooth mocha skin. In the village, women threw themselves at him. He was the ideal man, the one they lusted for. And if he really wanted some fun, he just had to sneak out to the city and find a woman. It wasn't hard. But even so, he wouldn't make the first move until he was given some kind of consent.

He followed her, shining his light around in the darker corners. He was on alert for anything that might jump out at them. He was pretty sure they were safe for now.
Viper 9 years ago
@Iron Wolf Her breath hitched slightly when she felt him against her back. She wondered briefly if he was the type to pin and , he seemed like it; the way he kept invading her space, making her seem smaller then she was. She didn't think she'd mind to be honest, but she didn't feel like having in a theatre that should have been demolished ten years ago.

"I like it..." She said, walking over to a chest. Inside were flashlights that Kat couldn't remember where she got, but she had them. She handed one to Lukas and gestured for him to follow her. "Come on, I'll show you something cool."
Iron Wolf [A] 9 years ago
@Viper He grinned wide, his tongue darting out to his lips as he closed the door and walked, slowly, behind her. His eyes were totally admiring the view in front of him so he didn't make an effort to catch up. Lukas sauntered behind her, looking around in awe.

The place had character, it was a little run down on the inside. He was surprised at how reserved the inside was. It had an eery beauty to it. "Stuff here?" He wondered what she meant. Surely she didn't mean...

He finally stepped up behind her, his warm chest pressed just slightly to her back. "This place is kind of amazing." He agreed with a low chuckle.
Viper 9 years ago
@Iron Wolf "If only you knew..." She muttered to herself, turning to her door. She ignored his comment, and his hand, and helped herself out of the car. She brushed past him, passing close enough for him to feel her body through her hoodie. She'd let him close the door himself, since he opened it.

The side door to the theatre was the stage crew entrance. So it led back stage, the door was originally bolted shut but Kat had no problem opening it up when she first started visiting the old place. The door pushed open easily now, and Kat didn't wait for Lukas to catch up, she assumed he would follow her anyway. Inside was in better shape then outside, though not by much, and Kat had to step over pieces of ceiling or other things as she made her way through the building.

As she walked she talked, realizing she had talked more that day then she had all week. "Its been awhile since I've been here, some of my stuff might be gone. But I should have something to light the place. The city cut the power when they realized people were squatting here..."
Iron Wolf [A] 9 years ago
@Viper Above? Ahhh, that made sense. He started to understand the term Wonder Boy. He would have to meet this Darion.

"Really, it's known for its untainted geography. Lots of beautiful crystal clear lakes and never ending forests. The freshest air." He let out a deep sigh. If he closed his eyes and thought really hard, he could put himself there. He could smell the clean air and the pine. He could hear every rustle and scratch as animals went about their business before winter set in again. His muscles ached for the thrill of a hunt. Apparently, people hunted all of their food from a store. Crazy, right?

The large blonde male pulled in as he was told so. "You have interesting tastes." He grinned as he turned off the ignition and hopped out, jogging quickly (though careful not to jog /too/ fast) to Kat's side. When he opened the door, being ale to see the top of the jeep, he laughed. "Damn you are short." He remarked teasingly as he held his hand out to her.
Viper 9 years ago
@Iron Wolf Kat's mouth quirked in appreciation of his comic book reference. He wasn't far off the mark though, people did worship him like he was a prince. "I don't think he carries a whip, he's above that sort of thing."

"Oh really? Well that sounds more like my thing, definitely." She wondered if he ever got tired of smiling and smirking, Kat certainly did. She chalked it up to him just being a positive foreigner, still trying to achieve the American Dream. Wait till he gets an American Reality Kat thought bitterly, thinking about her life and how much it .

"That's it up ahead." She said, pointing at the decrepit theatre. Its sign was faded and falling apart, but you could still see the words King inscribed on the front. "Park in the alley, you don't want anyone jacking your nice ride."
Iron Wolf [A] 9 years ago
@Viper "What so he carries a golden whip and drives to school in an invisible jet?" He asked her with a crooked grin and a raised eyebrow. One of the things he had enjoyed about American Culture so far was the world of comic books. Come on, it's his world. Literally.

He scoffed at her answer and wrinkled his nose. "Ugh, gods no." He glanced at her, lips set in a perfect smirk. "I'm from Lithuania. Beers, girls, and basketball. You know?" He joked.
Viper 9 years ago
@Iron Wolf "I'm sure you'll so just fine. They don't let girls play so I don't about it all that much, not that if play either way." In truth she'd never even been to a game, it wasn't her scene, at all. Guys got to handsy, and she couldn't get away with breaking somebodys arm.

"Nah, but I call him that sometimes, its what he is."

"Pink soup? I dunno, Slovakia?" She snorted, doubting her answer was right. She wasn't any good at world geography, especially Europe, the countries were changing constantly.
Iron Wolf [A] 9 years ago
@Viper "Varsity...?" He glanced over at Kat with a cocked blonde eyebrow. "I've honestly never played. It's not that popular in my country. But I know that the physical requirements aren't too far from my reach." He winked at her again. Football was an American thing. He wanted to be a part of it wholly. Even Kat seemed to accept it.

"Wonder Boy? Is that like his, uh, nickname?" He questioned her. He was eager to learn as much as he could about the students that were the best to get in with.

He grew apprehensive the more they drove into the deeper parts of the city. There foreclosed houses and empty lots littering his view. "No clue? Really." He laughed and hummed in thought. "We eat pink soup, and lots of potatoes. We were occupied by Russia. Some crazy old geezers believe that they're gonna invade us again like the Ukraine."
Viper 9 years ago
@Iron Wolf Kat rolled her eyes, her lips twitching slightly. "Don't say I didn't warn you.." Her tone was almost light enough to be taken as amusement. She leaned against the window, watching him drive.

"It depends if you join JV or Varsity." She glanced pointedly at his muscular build. "You'll probably make Varsity, which is the lesser evil. Darion "Wonder Boy" Shepherd keeps them pretty grounded." JV players felt the need to over compensate because they couldn't play with the big boys, Kat had to deal with them more then once in her high school career.

She concentrated, remembering the strange language he had chanted at her during Chem. It didn't sound like anything she had heard before, not that she had heard many foreign languages in Aelham. "Can I get a hint?"
Iron Wolf [A] 9 years ago
@Viper He chuckled, taking the right. Once back on the road, he focused on the conversation. "Avoid you? Nah," he teased, leaning his head over to wink at her. Though he knew it was true. What other reason would a beauty like herself be sitting alone in a Chemistry than just not fitting in. He had a feeling though people were intrigued by him, and attracted to him, he would have a hard time /really/ fitting in. But that didn't bother him. He would go down fighting.

"You've got it all figured out, huh?" He drummed his fingers on the steering wheel. "They asked me to join the football team. Where would that put me then?" He glanced over at her, grinning. "You seem to avoid that type at all costs, yeah? But you could make an exception?" He wiggled his eyebrows at her.

Lukas realized that he wasn't just attracted to her exquisite beauty, but he was also humbled to have her friendship. It was obvious this wasn't normal for her, and for that he was grateful. She may not be the most chipper of the bunch, but Kat seemed like a good friend to have.

He laughed at the station and nodded. He hadn't listened to much of this kind of music so it was a little refreshing. At the question of his country, he letting out a deep sigh as if in homesickness. It would be odd to say he didn't miss home, in her eyes. He let's his eyes soften with nostalgia. He had to act like an immigrant dragged form his home to this urban jungle unwillingly for covers sake.

"Mmmm, guess first." He grinned at her, making it a game. Most people never thought of the small country. He wondered how close she could get.
Viper 9 years ago
@Iron Wolf "Take a right at the next stop sign." She watched the city pass through the window, thinking about his question. "Ask anyone else and they'll tell you to avoid me."

She looked at him, not angry at all, just stating a fact. She'd long since gotten over high school. "The more popular they are, the faker they tend to be. Which is weird, you'd think that being popular meant people liked you, but they don't. They just want to be like you."

She shook her head and reached for the radio, changing it to a rap station. Kendrick Lamar floated through the speakers, rapping about vibes and life she assumed. "What country are you from?"
Iron Wolf [A] 9 years ago
@Viper "Will do." He followed her directions, taking the left and cruising down the road. He was aware of his surroundings, acutely so. The first week he arrived in the city he had to stay inside. The city wasn't exactly polluted, but wasn't the cleanest either. His heightened senses made it worst and he spent the week sick. That was hard to do. It was probably the only thing he missed, the cold crisp air.

The scenery around them was changing dramatically as they went. He had been warned about the alleys and the crime in the city, but he knew that was nothing to worry about. He's faced scarier things than a few thugs. He turned the radio on to an Indie music station. It was 'the thing' from what he could tell.

"So Kat, you tell me what you think. Is there anyone or thing at school I should avoid?" He looked over at her with his easy grin.

Pt. 2
Hero/Villain Info

Name: Tempestas

Power: Weather Manipulation, Immunity to temperature extremes

Origin Story: Valentina’s parents knew for a long time that their daughters were different. They did everything they could to keep their gifts a secret, including moving from their home in Mexico to America so the local cartel wouldn’t find out and try to use their powers to their advantage. Valentina had always been anti everything. Every week there was something she was protesting, whether it was too much homework, or the local dog pound was putting down animals too early. As she got older this sense of justice grew stronger and she and her sister realized they could actually make a difference with their powers. Her sister could control the earth and the plants on it, so she skipped college and went to work in the rainforests. But Valentina stayed, turning her eyes to the corrupt government and corporations polluting her beloved earth. They were going to pay.

Tragic Flaw or Weaknesses: Valentina’s tragic flaw is that she has no idea what she wants from life, and lacks the will to commit to anything. Her powers take concentration, so if that concentration is broken she becomes open to attacks.

Physique: https://c1.staticflickr.com/7/6215/6242410917_2ab3d7ce08_z.jpg
Tempestas’ costume is simple: black spandex like material covers her from her chest down, heeled boots that come up mid thigh, and black and grey cape that covers her neck and shoulders. She wears fingerless gloves that cover her arms up to her elbows, and uses a domino mask to conceal her identity.

Superhero Personality, and how they appear in public: The name Tempestas comes from the goddess of storms, and she embodies that persona when she becomes Tempestas. Regal and fierce. She doesn’t engage in petty verbal spats, or any sort of fighting unless necessary.

Adding for 'Zombie':

Freetime: When Finn isn’t trying to make others’ lives awful, he’ll most likely be found in a tattoo-studio, either getting a tattoo himself or inking others. Also, he likes to creep on people in dark alley ways, or scare girls in night clubs.
Trivia Info: Finn has a total of 315 tattoos, of which 176 show insects and 139 show bones. After his surgery, he used all his begged money for tattoos. He got his first tattoo at the age of 16, and it showed a Jolly Rogers. After that, more and more tattoos followed, and at the age of 17, he decided to completely cover himself in tattoos, and they should show a skeleton when completed.

‘Villain Info’
Name: Zombie
Power: Necrokinesis/Death-Force Manipulation, esp. Death Sense & Reanimation
Team: Unalinged – Even though he’s more of a Villain, Finn doesn’t feel like he belongs to a team, and doesn’t want to identify himself with others.
Origin Story: Finn doesn’t know whether he always had these powers, or whether they appeared after the surgery on his brain, but he does know that when waking up, they strangely were there. If he went to a place, he would suddenly have blurry visions of a person being shot there, of a girl being and killed, of horrible deaths the then 16-year-old couldn’t handle. But he had to, because those things would happen more and more often. And then he reanimated a dead dog for the very first time. His newly found powers were undeniable by then. His uncle helped him to cope with all the mess, but it was clear that he viewed the boy differently after that. The time Finn moved was also the time he decided not to use his powers for good anymore. He knew he could solve cold cases, could work for the hospital maybe, but because there were never people helping him, he decided that nobody deserved his help either. Nobody but his uncle. Whenever he would be in trouble, Finn would be right there to help him. Finn is a hard shell to crack.
