Bear [A] 9 years ago
@Highbeam "Ouch. Never took you as a pessimist, Marge." He shuffled out after her, hands shoved in his pockets. He glanced at the clock, knowing he should've already been on his way home by now. "But, good thing I'm an optimist." He smiled as he brushed past her, touching her shoulder lightly as he strolled out the door, heading back down the stairs.
Highbeam [A] 9 years ago
@Bear "So we should chalk this up to a dud and move on with our lives then," Rachel concluded, slipping past him and out of the closet.
Bear [A] 9 years ago
@Highbeam "Just because someone doesn't have a dark side doesn't mean they don't have....complexities. I mean, I'm not perfect. I don't come from a perfect family. I don't smile all the time even though I wished it were that easy." He chuckled and leans back against some shelves. "But I get it. You're into the edgier stuff." He shrugged a shoulder.
Highbeam [A] 9 years ago
@Bear "Nothing surprises me," Rachel answered flatly, folding her arms. "But I'll admit, I'm just slightly disappointed. I was hoping you had some hidden dark side."
Prism [A] 9 years ago
@Night Owl "Oh my god!" She smacked a hand across his shoulder. "Is that honestly the only thing you got out of that?" Danika huffed and crossed her arms, a hip cocked to the side.
Night Owl [A] 9 years ago
@Prism Kori grinned lazily, letting his gaze drift over to her. "You think my is cute?"
Bear [A] 9 years ago
@Highbeam "Oh Rachel. Rachel, Rachel, Rachel. You know who's who and what's what about everything that is everything in school. I know you have to know or at least hear what kind of guy I am." He motioned to his clothes. "This doesn't surprise you." He grinned and shrugged a shoulder. "Or does it?" He looked at her curiously.
Highbeam [A] 9 years ago
@Bear Rachel lifted one eyebrow inquisitively. "I suppose I'm just used to guys who move fast and unattached," she remarked. It was usually how she got what she wanted, classic feminine manipulation. Looked like Bear was the classic good boy type.
Prism [A] 9 years ago
@Night Owl "Okay look Hun, this isn't a pity party. You need to put some fire in that cute little of yours! You can't let people push you around, and get drunk and just give up! You've gotta make something of yourself." She sounded like a scolding mother. But honestly, it was alive she had to give herself several times.
Bear [A] 9 years ago
@Highbeam "You think being in your dad's closet is a date? Oh boy, you don't get out much do you, Marge?" He grinned, watching her with his large brown eyes. He liked girls, a lot. But he wasn't promiscuous or whatever. He just liked the flirting and the company. He wasn't out for . But if he found someone he liked and one thing led to another....No no, okay the point is he wasn't after alone. "Or would you rather me throw myself at you? Should it be the other way around though? I mean, I am the hot football Hawaiian dude." He teased.
Night Owl [A] 9 years ago
@Prism Kori shook his head, a little guilty and embarrassed at having someone take care of him. "I can take it from here," he drawled, too tired to open his mouth all the way to talk. "I'm used to ing myself over."
Highbeam [A] 9 years ago
@Bear "A date." She raised her eyebrows. "I literally have you alone up here, and you're asking for a date? Isn't that backtracking a little?"
Prism [A] 9 years ago
@Night Owl She stood up straight. "Of course. Were friends, right?" She offered him a smile and another napkin. "Anything else I can get you?"
Night Owl [A] 9 years ago
@Prism He leaned back against the porch. "I think I'll be fine," he said, staring up at the light. "Thanks for not abandoning me."
Bear [A] 9 years ago
@Highbeam "Hmmm..." He pursed his lips, eyebrows cinched together in concentration. A mischievous grin spread across his face and he shrugged casually. "Ohhh, I dunno. Maybe like a date or something."
Highbeam [A] 9 years ago
@Bear She scoffed a little at him and shook her head. "What will it take for you to stop calling me that?" She challenged.
Prism [A] 9 years ago
@Night Owl "Yeah, well. I'm not a . I'm not gonna tell you I'll be your friend and then leave you to dry." She pursed her lips, gloss smudged by now. "But seriously dude, you need to know your limit." She laughed and squatted down, carefully in her tight pants. "Are you gonna be okay?" She looked at him skeptically, patting his back.
Bear [A] 9 years ago
@Highbeam "Yeah, it's a joke." He muttered under his breath. He looked at her, really looked at her, but then let himself burst out with a laugh. "You always get heavy with guys in your dad's closet, Marge?" He shook his head, giving her a teasing look.
Shadowfox [A] 9 years ago
@Shade She stared straight ahead, propping her feet up on the dashboard comfortably. "The water tower," she said. "And some old railroad tracks." It was pretty empty and quiet and she liked hanging out there alone and away from most of the world.
Night Owl [A] 9 years ago
@Prism Kori sat up on his knees, done retching for the moment at least, and gratefully took the water. "Thanks," he murmured, taking a small sip. "You didn't have to."
Highbeam [A] 9 years ago
@Bear "Its merely the display of money and power," she answered. "You can fake it, but anyone with a legitimate claim to power would be able to see right through it." She tilted her head towards Bear. "Unless you have another idea of what power really means."
Prism [A] 9 years ago
@Night Owl "Oh my god." She gasped under her breath, covering and turning away. This was so not what she was expecting from tonight. Besides, she had a weak stomach. She excused herself, knowing she couldn't just leave him. Danika came back a few minutes later with a bottle of water. "Here..." She held it out to him with some napkins.
Night Owl [A] 9 years ago
@Prism He was far from okay. Nothing he couldn't handle, but all that was on his mind was the contents being purged from his body.
Bear [A] 9 years ago
@Highbeam Bear looked around, afraid his shoes would mark the fluffy carpet. He followed her, his eyes getting caught up at the huge ornate bed. He snapped out of the fascination, following her into the closet that was the size of his bedroom. "I don't know, it's a false sense of power, don't you think?" He ran his fingers over one of the suit sleeves. He laughed, "These don't even look like they've been worn. They're so starched, I'd probably get a rash." He didn't really have any intention actually dressing up, of course.
Shade [A] 9 years ago
@Shadowfox "You got it." He said, turning up the radio just enough for background. He drove through town, towards their destination. "So what's at the east edge?" He asked, just offering some sort of conversation.
Prism [A] 9 years ago
@Night Owl "Hey, where are you..." She stood up, staring with wide eyes as she watched Kori puke right outside the doorstep. Oh god, she was so relived he hadn't done that on her shoes. That would've been a reeal disaster. She sighed and rubbed her forehead, pushing through to the door and stepping around him and his...err...stomach content. "Are you okay?"
Highbeam [A] 9 years ago
@Bear Rachel smirked and led him the rest of the way upstairs and to the master bedroom. "It'll be our secret," she responded, opening the door to the walk in closet and turning on the light, illuminating pressed shirts of every color, sleek suits, glossy shoes. "Its all a show of power," she said, running her hands along a row of hanging jackets and she stepped backwards into the closet. "You dress like you're made of money, and people suddenly start bending to your will."
Shadowfox [A] 9 years ago
@Shade Marcy's lips pulled forward as she thought. "Head to the east edge of town," she said. "There's a cool place there I like to go sometimes."
Night Owl [A] 9 years ago
@Prism The world felt like it was spinning around him, and it was not doing good things for Kori's stomach. He drew away from Danika, feeling clammy and hot. He needed to go somewhere away from her before things took a turn for the worst. Hurriedly he stood up and stumbled away, trying to get outside. He eventually made it out the front door before doubling over and puking in the flowers.
Bear [A] 9 years ago
@Highbeam Bear glanced around until he spotted her. He smiled slightly and shrugged a heavy shoulder. "Sure, why not. I've always dreamed of playing dress up. I was just trying to keep it on the down low." He was up the stairs by her in a matter of seconds.

Pt. 2
Hero/Villain Info

Name: Tempestas

Power: Weather Manipulation, Immunity to temperature extremes

Origin Story: Valentina’s parents knew for a long time that their daughters were different. They did everything they could to keep their gifts a secret, including moving from their home in Mexico to America so the local cartel wouldn’t find out and try to use their powers to their advantage. Valentina had always been anti everything. Every week there was something she was protesting, whether it was too much homework, or the local dog pound was putting down animals too early. As she got older this sense of justice grew stronger and she and her sister realized they could actually make a difference with their powers. Her sister could control the earth and the plants on it, so she skipped college and went to work in the rainforests. But Valentina stayed, turning her eyes to the corrupt government and corporations polluting her beloved earth. They were going to pay.

Tragic Flaw or Weaknesses: Valentina’s tragic flaw is that she has no idea what she wants from life, and lacks the will to commit to anything. Her powers take concentration, so if that concentration is broken she becomes open to attacks.

Physique: https://c1.staticflickr.com/7/6215/6242410917_2ab3d7ce08_z.jpg
Tempestas’ costume is simple: black spandex like material covers her from her chest down, heeled boots that come up mid thigh, and black and grey cape that covers her neck and shoulders. She wears fingerless gloves that cover her arms up to her elbows, and uses a domino mask to conceal her identity.

Superhero Personality, and how they appear in public: The name Tempestas comes from the goddess of storms, and she embodies that persona when she becomes Tempestas. Regal and fierce. She doesn’t engage in petty verbal spats, or any sort of fighting unless necessary.

Adding for 'Zombie':

Freetime: When Finn isn’t trying to make others’ lives awful, he’ll most likely be found in a tattoo-studio, either getting a tattoo himself or inking others. Also, he likes to creep on people in dark alley ways, or scare girls in night clubs.
Trivia Info: Finn has a total of 315 tattoos, of which 176 show insects and 139 show bones. After his surgery, he used all his begged money for tattoos. He got his first tattoo at the age of 16, and it showed a Jolly Rogers. After that, more and more tattoos followed, and at the age of 17, he decided to completely cover himself in tattoos, and they should show a skeleton when completed.

‘Villain Info’
Name: Zombie
Power: Necrokinesis/Death-Force Manipulation, esp. Death Sense & Reanimation
Team: Unalinged – Even though he’s more of a Villain, Finn doesn’t feel like he belongs to a team, and doesn’t want to identify himself with others.
Origin Story: Finn doesn’t know whether he always had these powers, or whether they appeared after the surgery on his brain, but he does know that when waking up, they strangely were there. If he went to a place, he would suddenly have blurry visions of a person being shot there, of a girl being and killed, of horrible deaths the then 16-year-old couldn’t handle. But he had to, because those things would happen more and more often. And then he reanimated a dead dog for the very first time. His newly found powers were undeniable by then. His uncle helped him to cope with all the mess, but it was clear that he viewed the boy differently after that. The time Finn moved was also the time he decided not to use his powers for good anymore. He knew he could solve cold cases, could work for the hospital maybe, but because there were never people helping him, he decided that nobody deserved his help either. Nobody but his uncle. Whenever he would be in trouble, Finn would be right there to help him. Finn is a hard shell to crack.
