Farmland

This is where farmers spend the majority of their days. Oxygen regulators surround the planet since we landed, though our harvest is beginning to regenerate some oxygen. Thankfully the atmosphere contains enough oxygen on its own.

@kang seulgi Apparently he had chosen a rather bad place to halt, he realized upon hearing a somewhat distant voice- but who would’ve known, seriously. According to how Koichi saw it, he had been strolling down a proper path, lined with trees. Nothing dangerous in sight. Or perhaps that was the problem. For a second there, he believed the voice to be that of a ghost. But he was neither feeling cold nor sensing any ominous presence near, which made him consider a person from this realm.

His eyes flicked towards the tree he was currently passing, following up the trunk and branches. Doubtlessly another person, he decided, as his gaze settled on a young girl resting on a particularly thick branch. She was all caramel. Her hair, which he couldn’t quite sort into either blonde or brown, and her pale skin. Tinted golden from what little light the leaves let through. A face he couldn’t recall seeing before. Koichi felt like he was staring, and he didn’t want to give that impression, so he forced himself to speak.

“Look out for what?” Rather than looking out for something, he’d like to know what the hell a girl was doing, sitting in a treetop. That was definitely not safe. And probably ruined her nails. Koichi barely managed to keep his mouth shut about that. As a precaution, he backed away a bit. It wouldn’t save him from any enemy knight, but at least he could keep tabs on the stranger.

@koichi Fertile; they claimed the land was and could bring about the same agriculture and vegetation of their former planet, however, it seemed vague and unfamiliar to her. The many years she's spent on board their ship has left her feigned from the truth of the outer world, and on this planet, it felt flawed. Of the many tales she's been told as a child, it seemed her imagination has left her with too great of an expectation, so when the ship landed on Home, the earthy browns and lack of landscape displeased her.

Yet, the lands were changing and the cold earth has become home to many prosperous greenery. Nonetheless, she continuously dreamed of the day when a child may rest under the shade of a giant tree, and grows blissful at the thought that she somewhat contributed to it's existence.

She has been out since the early morning where she ventured to the distant end of their clan's farmland where the ripest of fruits have grown on large trees. Though the air stiffens around her neck she pulls her red muffler closer to her face for a bit of warmth as the cloudy atmosphere hinders the prevalent sun and spins a chilly current. Having been out on the farmland so often, she has learned the various courses the vast land had to offer, and yet she enjoyed finding unknown corners of planet.

Her mother was probably on the search for her, but the girl felt no desire to head back to the ship anytime soon and though the moccasins on her feet have worn she comfortably climbs a tall fruit tree barefooted with no worries. She had been situated comfortably on a tall branch, picking ripe peaches and dropping them into a basket she placed beside the tree.

When she heard footsteps from below, she thought it'd be rather dangerous if the many fruits spilling from the tree were to hit them. "Look out down there!" She calls when spotting the lone figure of the mysterious man. She has never seen anyone like him before, not from their Coma clan at least. And it was only then that she remembered her father often warned her to be cautious when meeting new people, especially those from another clan.

@kang seulgi Uncomfortable, way too hot, and head full of shattered images. That was how he awoke from what was supposed to be a nap, just that it had involuntarily turned into a three hour slumber. It took some effort to will his eyes to open, still dizzy with the last remnants of sleep. The light practically assaulted him. Koichi sighed, rested his face in his clammy palms, then lowered his eyelids for another second. He wasn’t sure what he’d been doing before, but the cards scattered on the table he’d just been resting on gave him a good idea. What a mess. Rather slowly, he arose, chair creaking. He was determined to not vegetate for yet another day inside his cramped cabin. It was becoming a bad habit.

The Durus’ ship itself was spacious. That was to be expected, as it was home to hundreds, a whole clan. But there was no ‘outside’ other than ‘outside his room’- not until recently anyway. Koichi was bad at remembering important dates, and he most certainly could not remember the exact day they’d landed, for the first time in so many years. For the first time in his life. All that mattered was that now, there was a real world to explore. With actual soil, with air he could breathe. A place that offered the space he occasionally sought. He was well aware of the risks that came with it, but hell. It was worth it.

Reaching the exit of his clan’s ship, he tightened his hold around his fur coat, holding it close against his body. One thing he’d never get used to was that the outside had different kinds of weather. Supposedly, there was hot and cold. Humid and dry. There was rain and snow, hail and sun. He’d heard of those terms. But he never really knew how to dress appropriately for each of them. Koichi was rather glad to notice that the air was pleasantly cool, grazing his collar bones. Which meant he didn’t have to end up as a gross pile of sweat as he walked.

The people he passed barely gave him any attention. They were fellow clan members, and currently it was deemed safe enough to leave. Technically. However, Koichi shouldn’t have been counting on his abysmal sense of direction. He realized that a little too late, with the ship out of sight and wide fields surrounding him. Farmlands, he figured. But whose. There was such a wide area that had been claimed for agricultural use, not just by the Durus. And everything just looked the same to him. Tiny plants, slightly taller plants, rugged terrain, grassy hills. He halted, having lost his will to move. With a growing frown on his face, his gaze shifted left and right, brain working at high speed. Yes, he was definitely lost, Koichi had to grudgingly admit.
