unaware that his owner had awoken to an empty bed so soon, jimin was perhaps a little to excitable when it came to their goat family. it was difficult to get him to do chores and sometimes even clean up after himself as he was always in the barn with a goat in his lap. standing as tall as he could over the barricade that kept the little ones inside, he watched as elliot tried his best to reach up for it, but his short legs made it difficult. "you can do it!" he'd cheer, then give in and toss the second apple inside as his ears perked up, watching the kid eat the treat. prepared to hop off of the fence, arms surrounded him and kept him secure; he knew it was namjoon, so there was little to be startled about. turning his head, he beamed at the latter's sleepy state. "joonie! elliot just ate some apples, and the other's are starting to wake up now.. can i let them out?"

the sun beams invasively through soft curtains and as much as namjoon would like to say that he's a deep sleeper, the sun isn't exactly always lenient. more so than the rays of light, is the missing warmth from his side. jimin had probably gone to check on the goats again, and so namjoon follows in his footsteps, hair a wild and unruly blonde mess and his shirt put on backwards, one of the legs of his sweatpants curled around the middle of his calf as he makes his way out. there he finds the kitten, crab apple in hand and ellie bleating eagerly at said fruit. he comes around, wrapping both his arms around jimin's waist with sleep still heavy on his eyelids. "good morning, sunshine."

it was an early morning routine it seemed - waking up earlier than usual to dash out to the big barn in search of his pride and joy; little elliot, he called him. he'd sometimes forget to wake namjoon up on the way in a fit of excitement, the only thing on his mind being the tiny goat. plodding up to the fence in which the kid laid down, he rifled through his pocket and pulled out a tiny crab-apple from one of their trees, waiting for the small goat to trot over and take it. hi, ellie! did you sleep well? i know i did. joonie is still sleeping right now though..
