3rd floor

@〈 kim jiwoo 〉d⅋p Jimin nodded as the other spoke, fully understanding how nerve-wracking it could be to have to wait so long for an evaluation. It essentially mean walking on eggshells for such a long time and in hell, that time could easily be indefinite. "As I'm sure you know, there's a lot of employees here at Infinc. So, it does take a while for HR to get to everyone and then when we finally do, there's more to deal with," she explained, a sympathetic smiled playing on her lips. "But your time is now and I'm sure you'll impress." She stepped into the elevator as well and leaned against the handrail on the side. "As for your work ethic, if you're actually working then I'd say that counts. Abilities or not." Small talk wasn't really Jimin's things. She preferred full, engaging conversation or none at all, so instead of speaking up in the elevator, she turned her attention back to her tablet and looked at her schedule to try and mentally get a leg up on the rest of her day. Of course, not liking small talk didn't mean that she could avoid it. Sure enough, after a few moments of silence, the other demon spoke up with an admittedly good question. Jimin chewed the inside of her cheek as she thought about it. "Honestly? I've stopped keeping track. Definitely a couple of millennia...give or take a few centuries," she looked up at Jiwoo, curiosity glinting in her eyes. "What about you?"

@〈 park jimin ; v 〉ɹɥ the junior harvester sheepishly watched the myriad of expressions on the hr employee's face as she slowly picked up her chair with gloved hands. it seemed like jamie wasn't fond of excessive unnecessary noise like the one she just made. jiwoo swallowed audibly and stood straight, clasping her hands behind her back as she followed suit. she sighed in relief; she's been doing her job properly after all. the young demon didn't think she'd get any complaint but who knows? "good thing, then?" she asked, gnawing on her lip for a moment in thought. "but it's been so long so i wondered if i'd ever be evaluated personally. yesterday's notice really surprised me, to be honest." jiwoo smiled when jamie faced her and shrugged. "i've been doing my job using my abilities. i can't say anything about my work ethic, though, but i can assure you i'm not gruesome." the harvester stepped inside the elevator once it arrived on their floor and immediately went to the far back. on a normal day, she'd get excited to do her work but today was different; she had a companion from a different department today. she wish ed one of her fellow harvesters were with her but the new employee who sat next to her was also out for an evaluation. the girl glanced over at the rather serious hr member and tried to make small talk by asking, "how long have you been in this company, jamie?"

@〈 kim jiwoo 〉d⅋p Jiwoo's jumpy behavior was surprising. Jimin didn't know many demons that got jumpy, but maybe she just kept rigid company. The chair falling, on the the hand, was downright annoying. The thunk of the chair hitting floor was loud and pierced Jimin's ears, causing her to clench her jaw and squeeze her eyes shut. There was no reason to really get angry though, so she willed herself to relax. It wasn't that big of a deal. They were just getting started. Relax. Slowly reopening her eyes and relaxing her jaw, she let out an almost inaudible sigh before putting a smile on her face. "Good, that'll make things that much easier," she responded, tucking a chunk of hair behind her ear and glancing down at the digital file. "There's no need to be nervous," she assured, starting to walk back toward the elevator. She assumed Jiwoo would follow, so she didn't waste anytime by waiting up. "I'm just here to see how things are going and how you're performing. There haven't been any complaints about you yet." She, personally, never understood why people got nervous about evaluations and similar things. As long as you were doing your job, there should be no reason to worry. In her opinion, anyone that was nervous was either not doing what they were supposed to be doing or they were incompetent. She pressed the call button on the elevator and turned to face Jiwoo. "As as long as you do this with the same ethic you've been using for the other tasks, you're golden."

@〈 park jimin ; v 〉ɹɥ jiwoo was usually a calm and composed character in the office, contrary to her co-workers whose were usually buried deep into their lunchboxes and what-else, and eating away like their life depended on it. today, however, the young demon was at her wit's end. it was her first time being overseen by someone from HR. she knew she was doing her job right but, was it at par with the company's standard? her boss was lenient after all. as long as they made it through their cut, they were good and jiwoo always made sure to make more than her monthly quota. sighing, she fiddled with the pen she bought the other day and waited for an employee to come and fetch her.

when her name was called, the young demon squeaked and suddenly stood up, causing for her chair to fall over. she glanced at the person who was standing near her desk and smiled sheepishly. "hello, jamie from hr. i know you," she shyly said, slowly slipping both her gloves on. "i'm nervous. this is my first time but i- yes, yes. please do lead the way? i'll just follow. these babies need to be protected." she flashed the other girl a smile and showed both her hands. soon, the hr employee would know of what she can do.

@〈 kim jiwoo 〉d⅋p HR was a relatively quiet as Jimin finished up the details of a harassment report - something with an intern and someone from marketing the only sounds, she honestly didn't know the major details; nor did she care. It all sounded like the same bullcrap that usually stemmed from the second floor. The only sounds on the floor were that of keyboard keys clacking against their frame being the clack of the a couple of keyboards and the voices as another report was being filed across the room. After putting on the final touches and exporting the claim into the system she scooted out from her desk, cringing as the legs scraped against the floor. They couldn't get those rolling chairs fast enough. "I'm off to do my check up," she announced to no one in particular while logging off of the computer. It wasn't that anyone needed to know her whereabouts, she just didn't want anyone looking for her or expecting her presence when it wasn't there.

She quickly grabbed her things and made her way to the Hellevator to go up to the third floor. While waiting for the lift to take her where she needed to go, she leaned against the wall and starting going over the file for the employee she'd be following today. Kim Jiwoo. Distribution and production...not much else. She made a mental note to sit with Miss Jiwoo and have her fill out a complete employee profile (or at least see if it had gotten lost in processing) and left the elevator as the doors slid open, reveling the D&P office. Walking down the hall with her tablet, nestled in the crook of her arm, her eyes scanned the desks for Jiwoo's. Finally spotting it, she stopped about an arm's length away. "You're Miss Kim Jiwoo right? I'm Jimin, HR, here to shadow you. Are you ready to go?" she introduced and asked, getting all of the formalities out of the way.
