how long do reservations last?
★ reservations last for 48 hours! we give you a heads up when that time is up, but you're free to reserve again (unless that character is taken by someone else).
so what's up with the staff? are they ghosts, or generally supernatural?
★ the girls are almost witch-like, or humans who can wield magic. this motel is the source of their powers, and grants them immortality for time being. the girls feast off the energies of the customers that stay here, so it is important to keep the customers here. if the girls do not get enough lifesource for their magic, they return to their human state and age normally.
what staff positions are open? is there a list?
★ any staff position you can think of is open and available. there is no cap to how many staff we have, because the women who run sugar rush motel are considered magical, and therefore can change jobs or keep as many (or as few) jobs as they'd like!
what powers do the staff have?
★ there is a large range of possible powers and abilities you can give your character, but there are certain limitations to keep in mind !! the one "power" every staff member has is immortality, which is only kept by feeding on the lifeforce of the motel's customers. if a staff member were to stop feeding on lifeforce they would slowly become a normal human once more, this time unable to become a magick user once more. the abilities they can have can include, but are not limited to: persuasion, telekinesis (small objects), fire manipulation (small flames like candles & gas burners), temperature manipulation, affecting someone's mood, etc. etc. think of almost any ability, but on a smaller scale. their powers aren't flashy or huge, but can be used for everyday things or making certain tasks easier. the only abilities completely off limits are: any kind of necromancy, complete mind control, blood manipulation and probably others that i can't think of right now. if you're just a smidgen unsure about whether or not your character's power would be allowed, please ask an admin !! we don't want to have the awkward "that's not allowed" talk or anything.
