@♛ park jimin i mean if i were it, i would like you better /saying nothing of the ray squirming a little, fins rising beneath the water and the small motion able to be felt through my fingertips, i turn my head and look to you when you curl your fingers over mine beneath the cool water of the touch tank/ you're being really sweet, chimmy-

@♛ kim namjoon why do you think that, hyung? /my brows furrow slightly as i look up at you, fingers falling away from the ray as i tip my head up to look at you, and my fingers come to end up brushing over yours, though i don't shy away and instead curling my fingers over yours in the water/ it doesn't matter, really - i like you better than it.

@♛ park jimin /when you encourage me to feel the ray, i stick out my hand, finger stroking against the ray's back even after nudging against your own fingers in the process, and i admire how soft the ray's back feels, surprised by the texture/ wow that is really soft- but i think it likes you better than it likes me

@♛ kim namjoon /comforted by the touch of your hand on my clothed skin, i admire the feeling of the ray beneath my hand while it seems to be settled and happy under my finger, and i look up at you when you question me, nodding a little while i gently pet the ray as if it's a cat/ it's really soft - come feel it, hyung.

@♛ park jimin mhm, look- /while you lean over the tank, i watch as you pet the ray, and unlike the first it settles, allowing your fingers to over its back, and i can't help but smile to watch you there with it, though my free hand stays at the small of your back, giving it a gentle rub when you tell me to look/ yeah- is it as soft as the other one?

@♛ kim namjoon another ray? /trailing off when i manage to drag my gaze away from the crab, i catch sight of the gentle movements in the sand, and i lean down over the tank before my hand dips into the water, fingers brushing over the sand to unearth the ray, giggling quietly as it shakes the sand off of it's back and settles, allowing me to pet it/ this one's nice, look -

@♛ park jimin i- /before i can say anything, even if it's in protest, the crab snips at your finger and i'm left looking down at your hands when you call the crab rude, though i want to say it's just a crab doing crab things, i worry for a moment that maybe that sounds too childish, and i move my hand beneath the water once more, pointing out one of the baby rays that seems to have buried itself in the silt/ poor chimmy- but look, there's another ray here

@♛ kim namjoon you are cute. /nodding firmly, i look down to the crab in my hand, brushing my thumb over the shell of the animal before it suddenly snips at my fingers and hops from my hand, scampering off, and i frown at it while dipping my hands back into the water/ that's a rude little crab, too...

@♛ park jimin yeah, yeah we should- i'm having fun /looking at you with an equally bright expression, my dimples gracing my cheeks so deeply in the moment, i almost miss you essentially calling me cute in the process, though i give your wrist a light pat in a sort of thanks/ you really think so, huh... ?

@♛ kim namjoon then we should do stuff like this more often. /nodding firmly, i beam proudly when i have the crab in my hands, pleased when you seem so happy to have the crab just in your hold, and i look up at you with a bright expression, nodding a little even as i feel my heart skip a beat/ uh huh, he is, hyung. and so are you -

@♛ park jimin yeah, chimmy, just you and me /when you place both of your hands in the water, essentially holding the crab, i look to your hands when you look up at me, lifting my head to smile at you before i stretch a hand toward the crab, brushing a finger against the back of the crab's shell, and then the tip of my fingers graze your hand as well/ thanks, chim- he's cute, right? little crab-

@♛ kim namjoon really, hyung? just you and me? we should do that. /laughing softly when you come to essentially chase the crab with you, i sink both hands into the water and cup my hands around the crab, holding the little animal as i giggle quietly, looking up at you as i show you the animal/ i caught him for you, hyung.

@♛ park jimin i like it too, chim- and if you want we'll just... find more ways to spend time together /with you perking up as well, i watch you rise up in your place, and i look as you point, eyes following the direction you point in, and after a moment i actually catch sight of the crab you're pointing out, perhaps over excited in the moment, i snag your waist with one arm to lead you closer, almost chasing the crab from the side of the touch tank/ little crab-

@♛ kim namjoon well i mean, i kinda like this, spending time with you. /mumbling quietly, i shake my head a little and lift my shoulders in a small shrug, though when you seem excited over the crabs, i perk up a little, rising up on my toes to glance along the touch tank for signs of the crabs, and i lift my wet hand from the water and point toward one i see down the way a little/ look, hyung! your favorite!

@♛ park jimin you don't sound too happy about that idea, chim /speaking quietly, i brush my hand across the small of your back, rubbing over clothed skin as if it might prove soothing while i stand beside you and look into the touch tank, though when you mention the crabs, i'm once again a little more energetic/ oh yeah! i mean- yeah, let's check and see if we can find any

@♛ kim namjoon really, hyung? i mean, i guess we'd have to invite everyone else or whatever... /my voice dips, clearly not too fond of the idea of sharing my time with you with everyone else, and a pout slips onto my lips at the thought of losing that time with you, though as you smile, your hand coming to rest on my back, i smile softly/ yeah, i like that. do you wanna see if there's a few crabs in here?

@♛ park jimin oh yeah? maybe we can see about doing that then- i mean, not now but- /my voice trails off as i watch you touch the turtle yourself, but when you look up at me i'm caught up in looking at you and a smile resides on my lips while i bring my dry, free hand to gently rest against the small of your back/ you like that, huh? i guess that's a good thing for both of us then

@♛ kim namjoon yeah. it'd be like swimming with dolphins and stuff. i wanna do that one day. /when you withdraw your hands to rest on the edge of the tank, i take the opportunity to brush my fingers over the turtle itself, admiring the feeling of the small animal under my touch, though as i look up at you i can't help but feel a sort of swell in my chest, nodding once at your words/ i like that. being pretty, and small - to you at least.

@♛ park jimin but it would be pretty fun to be in it, don't you think? /after brushing the pad of my index finger over the small turtle, i withdraw my hand, placing them at the edge of the touch tank before i turn my head to look at you, admiring you and the sight of your smile when you say that you're pretty small/ yeah, you are... pretty, and small

@♛ kim namjoon i guess a really big touch tank would just end up being a swimming pool with the gentle animals... /talking mostly to myself for a moment, i shrug lightly before i feel you essentially come up next to me, and my body almost sinking into yours as you come to simply stand beside me, and i watch your finger on the turtle, though i lift my head to smile up at you/ i'm pretty small, hyung.

@♛ park jimin maybe some aquarium does- maybe with big rays and nurse sharks /when you're distracted, looking toward the turtle, i find myself stepping a little closer to you, following you as you move closer toward the side where the turtle sits, and i end up leaning my side into yours while reaching out, gently touching the back of the turtle's shell/ small things are some of the prettiest things

@♛ kim namjoon ...do you think they have a really big touch tank? that'd be so cool! /when your hand withdraws, i find myself watching your fingers leave near mine, and i purse my lips while my attention is toward your hand, though as you mention the turtle, my fingers linger on the starfish as i look up, glancing along toward the little turtle, and i shift a few steps toward it, cooing softly/ everything's so tiny - and pretty.

@♛ park jimin well, they would have to have a really big touch tank if they put a bunch of adults in- /while i draw your attention to the starfish, our fingers almost meet beneath the water, though i slowly draw my hand back, pulling it from the cool water and letting it drip from my fingertips before i look around/ it is really pretty. i think i see a turtle over there though- maybe?

@♛ kim namjoon so they keep the babies in here? that's kinda cool. /humming softly, i watch as the ray swims away from our hands, kicking up some of the dirt in disturbance, though as you mention the starfish i turn my attention to it, gasping softly as i bring my hand to it, rising up on my toes to look over the starfish with a soft coo, brushing a finger over one of the legs/ it's so pretty...

@♛ park jimin most rays get a lot bigger than this, so i think it probably is- or at least it's young /when it hits my fingers, i laugh softly, drawing my hand back just slightly when it seems like it's been startled, though i end up pointing out one of the starfish to you after brushing a finger over the small bumps along a single leg/ look at the starfish, chim-

@♛ kim namjoon it's a baby? do you think they let the babies start here, and then as they get bigger they go to the bigger tanks? /my brows furrow in thought, a small hum leaving my lips as my fingers coming to brush over the back of the ray, and it zooms off toward your hand, only to hit your fingers and try to swim off and away/ woah - it's kinda... soft...

@♛ park jimin /drawing my arm from your shoulder, though with some reluctance, i then pull my sleeves up, bringing the cuffs of my jacket up toward my elbows, along with my sleeves, and i follow suit a second after to reach in, the ray that you reach forward swimming near both of our hands, draws my eyes/ it is really small- i guess it's a baby here

@♛ kim namjoon /looking up at you, i grin widely before i move my hands to drag my sleeves of my sweater and jacket up so i can reach into the tank, and as my fingers dip into the water, i shiver lightly, laughing softly as i reach toward one of the little rays, cooing softly/ the water's kinda chilly, but look at the ray! it's so small...

@♛ park jimin /when you rise on your toes, i can't help but laugh softly as i watch you, though i soon clear my throat after and when you tug me to the side of the tank i follow up, coming up alongside you and looking into the water at the creatures in the touch tank, but it's at the mention of crabs that i grow a little more excited/ hey maybe- we'll just have to see

@♛ kim namjoon /as we come nearer to the touch tank, i rise up on my toes while we get closer, and my fingers come to hold onto your jacket, tugging a little before i look over at you, dropping back down and tugging you toward the side, thankful that there aren't a ton of people around/ hyung, look at them! i bet there are little crabs in here, too.
