@★ lee donghyuck "Wait, you think it's fun to watch me play? So..that's definitely going to become something we keep doing often? You watching me play while I..well..play." Mark smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck slowly, turning his attention back to the male in front of him again. "Wait. Wow. Wow. Rewind a little bit there. They were going to EAT you?! That's..holy , I get why you ran away from them." He furrowed his eyebrows and crossed his arms, shaking his head slowly. "Really? Yes! Thank you, thank you! I will make sure you feel completely comfortable with me, alright?" He beamed in happiness and had to restrain himself from inside from jumping around in excitement. "Oh..well. I mean..I have no problems with that..but I bet I can find something for you!" Mark nodded quickly and ran towards his closet, rummaging around in it.

@☆ mark lee 'Mm, it's fun to watch you play, too.' There was a hint of amusement in the words, lashes fluttering as he chuckled. The question caused him to shift his weight, pursing his lips in thought on how to answer; 'A lot of hybrids deal with abusive owners- thankfully, mine weren't.. for a while, but they were about to eat me, soooo..' Trailing off with an almost sheepish grin, 'Then, I'd really love to stay with you, Mark.' Hyuck cocked a brow at him, the stuttering earning another sound of delight, 'Well thank you.. But, unless you'd like me to just walk around , can I at least get a shirt or something from you..? I really hate pants but if it's a must.'

@★ lee donghyuck "Well..I'm proud to be a nerd in that case then! I don't think I will ever get tired of playing games anyways. It's way too much fun to ever stop." Mark nodded firmly and flashed a bright smile, his eyes quickly glancing at the blanket before back at him once again. "Wait..why were you running from your owners? Did they hurt you? Because if they did, I'll find them and beat them up too!" He mumbled and furrowed his eyebrows in anger before slowly relaxing his facial expression. "What? No, you're never intruding! If you were, I would've kicked you out after a day..I enjoy your company. A lot." Mark's eyes looked down at the other's lips as he bit into it, snapping out of his slight daze when his cheek got poked. "O-Oh..you think I'm cute..? I really think you're cute as well. You are cute in your animal form but even cuter in your human form."

@☆ mark lee 'I'm only teasing.. It's not that bad. You're still a nerd, however.' His eyes brightened a bit as a smile formed, holding onto the top of the blanket. Hyuck took a moment to look at him, tilting his head, and wiggling his ears. 'I'm.. not sure. When you helped me, I was kind of running away from my owners,' his ears perked at the words, 'I wouldn't want to intrude any further.' A laugh bubbled from his lips before he bit into it gently; 'Yeah.. I mean something a little more physical.' He raised a hand to lightly poke his pink cheek; 'You're really cute.'

@★ lee donghyuck "I know you couldn't speak! , now that I think about it, of course you couldn't have objected to it. Man, I can be such a at times.." He mumbled and ran a hand through his hair, slowly shaking his head before he turned to face the male in front of him. glancing down at the blanket covering his body before up at his eyes again, nodding slowly. "Well, you're right about that..but.what will you do now? Where will you go? I mean, you can stay with me here, it gets pretty lonely at times.." He shrugged and widened his eyes as his cheek suddenly got kissed, the tips of his ears slowly turning red. "Wait. If you don't want to thank me with money, what other possible way is the- Oh. OH. Y-You mean..o-oh..well.." Mark stuttered out and felt his whole face heating up slowly.

@☆ mark lee 'Yes,' he shrugged slightly, rather amused to the reaction, 'And.. How would you have liked me to..? I couldn't speak and I was hurt.' Hyuck eyed him for a second before he got up, carefully pulling the blanket with him to keep himself from flashing the latter. 'I'm still going to thank you, it was kind and not many people are.. especially around here,' he pursed his lips a bit in thought as he made his way over, leaning to press a kiss to his cheek; 'Also, I didn't mean money. I suppose your innocence is greater than I thought.'

@★ lee donghyuck Mark was baffled. This 'Hyuck' called him a nerd in HIS house? That is outrageous! "You dare call me a nerd in MY house? Besides, you didn't object to being called Kaon! You never did!" He frowned and crossed his arms, looking away for a split second. "Well, at least that's shorter than Donghyuck. So..uh, Hyuck it is." Mark muttered softly and ran a hand through his hair, looking at the other's bruised skin before letting out a hum in response. "You don't have to thank me, I would've been a major douchebag if I didn't help you anyways..so, no problem. And, yeah, words are good enough for me. I am not going to tell you to thank me by paying me money, that's pretty sleazy if you ask me."

@☆ mark lee He nodded slightly to the words, 'Yes.. Sadly, my name isn't that of a game character, nerd.' The words were followed by a small snort, only to peek back up at him, 'you can call me Hyuck, you know..? Yes.. Exactly, mhm.' Now that the thought fully came back, he shifted enough to uncover his leg, showing the bruised skin with a small frown. 'It's still not fully okay it seems, though, I should thank you for helping me,' he thought about the other times he was told to show appreciation for things and scrunched his face a little; 'I- I'm really hoping words are good enough?'

@★ lee donghyuck It felt like time had frozen completely, nothing made sense to him anymore but at the same time, things DID make sense to him. "So..you're Kaon...whose name is actually Donghyuck. And..the ears. Holy , I don't know what to say." He mumbled and ran a hand through his hair, pacing around in the room. Mark worked with lots of hybrids, so it wasn't that strange to him, he should've known better but how could he have possibly known about this? "So..Ka- Ahem, I mean..Donghyuck. You're a hybrid..and your..uhh, your leg is all better now..which made you shift back into your human form?"

@☆ mark lee Upon hearing the voice, he stayed silent, relatively freaked out wondering how he was going to explain this and how to make the latter believe him. Finally turning his gaze over to him, looking through long lashes and messy bangs, Hyuck chewed on his lip softly. 'I- well.. Before you get angry and end up tossing me in the street,' he began, 'I'm, uh.. Kaon.' Raising a hand to push through his hair, he gestured to the tiny ears, wiggling them a little. 'My names Donghyuck, by the way.' Lowering his gaze, he let the blanket fall to his lap, playing with the material in a rather fidgety manner.

@★ lee donghyuck Mark was sleeping soundlessly in his bed, the animal that he named Kaon, lying next to him. When it came to names, Mark wasn't very creative. He was playing a game and suddenly a character with the name Lykaon popped up and at that moment, he immediately chose the name for his little animal. It did fit him though..somehow. So he just went along with it. Mark let out a soft hum as he felt Kaon moving around in his bed, opening his eyes slowly. "Hmm..you hungry, Kaon? How late is it..?" He mumbled and slowly sat up, immediately wearing his glasses that were seated on top of his nightstand while he looked at his alarm clock. "2 AM..hmm, I'll fetch you something to eat." Mark muttered and smiled to himself, turning to face Kaon before letting out a loud gasp, tumbling out of his bed. A male with reddish brown colored hair was currently sitting in his bed, possibly even as he covered himself with the blanket. That was definitely NOT Kaon but he was determined to find out what the hell happened and what this stranger did to Kaon. "Okay, who the hell are you and what did you do to my Kaon?" Mark said as he slowly stood up and the lights, facing the male again but this time with an angry gaze in his eyes.

@☆ mark lee It didn't take long, only two weeks or so for the tiny creature's bone to settle back into place, leaving him with the ability to shift back into human form. The thought had slipped his mind as he'd gotten comfortable in the surroundings, though when he woke up somewhere around two a.m. and found himself seeking the warmth of the human so kind as to help him, he sat up and realization hit. Donghyuck was quick to hold the blanket up to himself, peering around for a moment as he wondered just what he was going to do.

@☆ mark lee His eyes had closed during the walk, however, he was a bit surprised with how quickly it had ended. Little eyes peeked open to look around, curious of the new surroundings, body wiggling slightly. A small sound was made to his words, a bit frustrated that he couldn't actually use his voice at this point.

@★ lee donghyuck "Hmm, well, we don't have to force any name on you just yet, I bet it will come to me soon. For now, let's just make sure you feel better." He mumbled and carefully pet his fur again as they came closer to Mark's home. He was glad he lived all alone, it was easier to bring injured animals home or just people in general without all the questions. "Here we are..good thing I live close to where I work, huh?" Mark chuckled and held the animal against him with one hand while the other hand reached into his pocket to take out his key. As he took out his key, he edged closer to the door to unlock it and push it open with his shoulder, walking in with the animal in his hand. "Welcome to my home! Make yourself at home!" He grinned to himself and closed the door with his foot, kicking off his shoes and quickly walking further into his home.
