@☆ mark lee He still trembled, but listened carefully to the words, seeking any harmful tones or ideas in them. Hyuck found comfort in the warmth being close to him, settling down only slightly despite the pain, trying to stay calm so he didn't panic and squirm from his hold. His ears perked at the thought of a name, then went back to his past owners name for him, causing him to curl closer.

@★ lee donghyuck "I know, I know..it hurts. Poor little creature..thank god I found you. I don't think you'd be able to get yourself any help with your broken paw.." Mark frowned and held him close against his chest as he started walking back home again, gently caressing his soft fur. "Oh, I should probably introduce myself, hmm? Well..my name is Mark. It's very nice to meet you! Although..I don't know your name but..I can try to think of something." He nodded and slightly quickened his pace to get home sooner.

@☆ mark lee Upon the approaching form, the small creature automatically thought the worst and tried to get up but to no avail. His little nose wiggled and his limbs twitched, the words not being what he expected at all. Donghyuck fell still and quiet, regardless of the pain raking through him, and just watched the unfamiliar being- he seemed awfully nice and that partly scared him further. As he was picked up, a few small whinpers sounded but he relaxed the best he could.

@★ lee donghyuck As Mark approached the gates, he suddenly heard soft whining and movement on the ground. He looked around to try and find the source of the voice until he noticed a small pudu on the ground. "Oh, hey, little buddy..are you lost? You seem to be lost.." He mumbled softly and walked closer to the animal, being careful not to scare him away as he crouched down closer to him. "Oh, so that's what's keeping you here..you broke your paw. I should nurse you back to health." He muttered and tilted his head as he watched the animal before glancing over at the front gates. "Although..I rarely miss any days of work..except for when I am really sick. But..screw it. I can't just leave you here by yourself.." Mark concluded and turned back to the animal, moving even closer to carefully pick him up, making sure to not touch the injured limb.

@☆ mark lee Lost was the best word to describe Donghyuck as his tiny form trotted and roamed through the woods, having lost his path the night before in his attempt to run away. Though, he hadn't expected to be running and let his little hoof get caught on a stick, leading to him tumbling down the brush and into the open, whimpering and whining at his now obviously broken limb. He needed to get out of the open but couldn't stand, squirming and wiggling in an attempt.

@★ lee donghyuck Mark pushed the glasses on his nose slightly higher as he walked towards the gates. He let out a big yawn and slightly stretched his limbs a little bit. He hasn't been able to get a good night's sleep for the past days now, often sleeping at late hours or not at all, and it was really starting to bother him. Some days, he was even almost falling asleep while working, it was honestly such a miracle he hadn't been fired yet, although he hasn't tried making it very obvious. Needless to say, Mark was very, very tired. But he managed to always arrive on time and often even stayed longer after he was done working. He truly did enjoy his job a lot.
