The sound was echoing throughout her subconscious as if she had been there before. Technically she had, but it wasn't like she was listening to it; she was experiencing it. If all had gone right all those generations ago, she'd be there as a merchant, but she was doing quite the polar opposite. '

Pulling up her hood as she wandered along the plaza, she felt daring enough to pickpocket a constable. Tucking it betwixt her bust and into her corset, she immediately turned and began to walk in the opposite direction. Ducking into an alleyway, she began climbing up the brick wall of a tall building and crouching on top of the roof. She looked out towards the horizon to see if she could see the city walls, and she could. But she was gathering unwanted attention.

Climbing back down, the policeman met her golden-hued eyes, and thus began the chase. She didn't know how he had pinned her, because he hadn't seen her, but she ran past him anyway. She ran in a beeline, though, as she couldn't risk anyone knowing where exactly she lived. Outsiders weren't welcome, and she'd keep it that way to protect her siblings.

To finally get him off her trail, she transformed into a tiny black cat and hid behind a wagon.

As was his allocation set to find the woman, Rahal's fixtures weren't for these people or their causes, rather his materialistic greed for money and the power it entailed. It was known amongst the trade for those who could make an offer, that Rahal never failed to provide a resplendant return as it was known he always kept his covenant no matter the cost

His journey through the cities of the vast land would be long but, his quest would be completed before the summer solstice.
