@(p.) JEONGGUK Felix sighed a little at the response he got, feeling even more disheartened, if that was possible at this point. Nodding swiftly at the idea of keeping his eyes away from the distressing state of the older boy’s wrists, Felix averted his eyes back to flickering around the cell. He glanced across once again to his company, listening along as what he’d been captured by was explained to him. A shudder ran down his spine, eyes widening a little when he tried picturing the description in his head. It wasn’t a hugely pretty image to him, to say the least. “Wait, they’re gonna eat us..?” The boy croaked out, fear lacing his abnormally deep voice for someone with his appearance, looking at the other chained boy’s face closely, eyes pleading that that was a joke.

He looked towards the door again, praying to all the gods he could think up off the top of his head for nothing to slither in through the door. He certainly couldn’t defend himself if it did. He could throw a couple of weak punches, but apart from that, the other demigod was alone fighting wise. Even being told not to worry didn’t give him much hope. Heck knows how many of those snake ladies could be wandering around, if they managed to get the shackles off in the first place. “Maybe? Not panicking is very hard not to do, when all I’ve got is a maybe..” He mumbled back, though his tense shoulders dropped slightly when he was told there was a high chance they wouldn’t come back soon.

“I’m Felix.. I’m a demigod too.. my mum is Persephone. Flowers and spring and stuff..”

@(per.) FELIX "Sorry to say but that's a negative" Jeongguk replied, wincing as his arm twitched, metal digging into his raw wrists. He noticed the younger boy looking at his wrists in horror, JK biting his lip as he wondered how he was going to navigate this; it was hard enough figuring out how he was going to escape, now he had to worry about a second person. "Don't look at my hands, you'll just make yourself panic."

"You were unlucky enough to get caught by the Lamia, gorgeous snake women with a penchant for seducing than eating anybody with male ia." Jeongguk explained dryly, casting his eyes to the door as if one would burst in any second. For all they knew, the snakes would. He hoped that he wasn't terrifying the kid anymore than he probably was but he deserved to know what they were dealing with, the guy didn't look like he'd lifted anything more than a kitchen knife in his entire life. How was he going to handle a group of monsters? He didn't even know who the guys parent was. "They like to hypnotise men, lure 'em in. Doesn't matter what team you bat for, nobody can resist them."

"Look, don't worry, I've been in situations like this before, I know what to do" Jeongguk on his lower lip, eyes wondering across the cell like he hadn't already done it a million times before. "... Maybe, I think. Point is, don't panic cause they like that, I'll get us outta here soon. It's unlikely they'll come back" His head dropped back against the wall, eyes closing briefly as he swallowed hard. He hoped he wasn't lying, for his or the kids sake. When he opened his eyes again, Jeongguk looked at his cellmate,

"I'm Jeongguk, Poseidons progeny. You look familiar though.. Are you a demigod too? Dumb question, of course you are, but who's your parent?"

@(p.) JEONGGUK Felix’s eyes scanned around the room in an almost frantic hope he’d see something to help him escape, still caught up with the continual thoughts spinning around his head. God - or gods, as he’d been taught recently - he was too young to die. He’d never been the bravest of souls, but then he’d never been kidnapped either. It was hard for him to get a hold of himself. Damn him for being curious. He’d just wanted to meet some of the squirrels or something cute out in the woods, if he didn’t succeed in finding any other campers.

Finally, as he was accepting that he couldn’t somehow tear his hands from the metal shackles, Felix startled when he heard the clanking beside him, head snapping up from where he glared down at the uncomfortable floor, gaze spinning over to the other male bound in the same way as him. He was a little relieved he wasn’t alone, but his head was still swimming with confusion. Felix couldn’t even force a reply out for a moment, before he made himself take a long and deep breath. Panicking wouldn’t help him get out at this point. Whatever on earth had stolen him and put him and the other boy in here, he couldn’t escape it if he couldn’t use his hands. The other kid - well, he looked a little older than himself - was right.

Coughing to clear his throat, Felix finally gave the other male his attention, observing the fact he was bound in exactly the same way, hands shackled. He could see the dark red, either drying or fresh on his company’s wrists. The sight made the breath catch in his throat. “I-is this a joke? C-can we leave soon?” He forced himself to croak our at last.

@(per.) FELIX Jeongguk wasn't entirely sure how long he'd been chained, the only source of light coming from burning embers in the corner of the room? If you could even call it that: dirty cobblestone covered in moss, mould and rust red stains he didn't want to think about and brackets(to which he was handcuffed to) decorating one wall didn't really constitute a room in his opinion. It was more of a dungeon and not the fun kind either. The last thing he remembered was being on a delivery job, he'd been driving down the highway when a Lamia had overturned the truck and the thing Lamia was that they had a nasty habit of hypnotising people, specifically men, more specifically demigod men.

He'd probably walked himself straight into the prison without even realising it.

His internal clock told him it had been nearly a week, roughly, since getting caught but with no windows to show the passing of day and night, he couldn't tell. Honestly, he was left alone almost the entire time he was there aside from the occasional Lamia coming in to feed him disgusting cardboard that could barely be classified as bread. Yuck, he was so getting a burger when he got out of here. Which was another thing entirely, he'd completely ed his wrists to the point of hanging uselessly and dripping blood(soon he'd have to add infection to the list, Jeongguk had a feeling that these handcuffs were not OHS standard). The only interesting thing that happened was when he was rudely awakened by his captor dragging in an unconscious body, chaining it against the wall without so much as sparing a glance at him. Gods, don't let it be a dead body, don't let it be a dead body, Jeongguk prayed as he craned his neck to look over at the young man next to him. Ok good, not dead. That was something. He watched as the young man, clearly a demigod otherwise the Lamia wouldn't have bothered, stir awake and tug at his restraints weakly. He winced from second hand pain, a heavy pit in his stomach as the demigod didn't even register his cellmate in his panic. He didn't even look old enough to be in college yet. his dry lips, Jeongguk rattled his handcuffs to get the attention of the young demigod, figuring he should probably make his presence known "Hey.." His voice was croaky from all the shouting he'd done, throat dryer than a desert from lack of water "Kid, don't pull too much or you'll end up hurting yourself. One of us needs his hands to help get us outta here"

@(p.) JEONGGUK It was dark. Felix didn’t understand why. His head was spinning, arms burning. For a moment he didn’t feel brave enough to open his eyes. It was all just a hazy mass of confusion. He remembered leaving his cabin for once to try and explore.. but after that, well, there was nothing. Was this some sort of strange trick being played on him? A joke to scare him while he was new?

Hesitantly, so he didn’t disturb the headache he could feel brewing, Felix tried to blink his eyes open. Wherever he was, he didn’t recognise it in the dim light that flooded it. He his dry lips, in a breath as he started to panic. His wrists were caught on something. Cold metal rubbed against them as he lurched his unsettled body forwards in a vain attempt to pull them free, breath coming out in quiet gasps that echoed throughout the room. He hadn’t even thought to look for someone else, he just kept tugging at the chains weakly, each attempt coming with less dedication towards his task, until at last he slumped down, defeated.
