sturdier buildings didn't withstand the Wizarding War, yet somehow the Shrieking Shack is still standing. It was never actually haunted, but rather a hideout for a certain werewolf who's screams the locals assumed were the lamenting of anguished spirits. though it has stood silently for decades now, to this day, it is still a taboo place to go as it is a haven for questionable individuals.
