@c seungyoun () hope this is okay! sorry if it took a while ; ;

jimin was itching to hold out a gun and just go on a murderous rampage. being assigned to mentor yet another kid who would think that it was a-okay to get on his nerves had definitely made jimin's blood boil and head spin. it was to the extent where he had almost, /almost/ lost his sanity (not that he hadn't before) and wanted to end the kid right then and there. thank god he still had a brain and was, at least, a bit patient. the kid was fortunate... for now.

which led jimin to where he was now—at the shooting range. he wanted to let off some steam without actually killing someone for once. the trainer, who was situated at his usual station, inserted the loaded magazine into the pistol and got into position—an arm extended outwards, stable, gun lining up perfectly with his target and a finger neatly placed on the trigger, and-

bang!

a perfect shot to the heart.

bang!

the same clean shot.

bang!

another one.

all three bullets managed to meet the dummy's heart, but jimin was unsatisfied and yearned for more. he kept on shooting it to his heart's desire, not stopping just yet until he ran out of ammunition.

Sofia hummed softly as she walked through the range to get to her usual station. She always came in for practice. You can never be too skilled with your gun. She put in her ear plugs and got herself set up. Looking around at the other people who were getting their own practice in or were just learning how to shoot.

@c yena "People are like that. They see themselves as kings until you hold a gun to their head, and then everything falls apart when you put a finger on the trigger," he babbled without realizing, smoothly loading the gun as if it were second nature to him, "There are plenty of people you don't even have to shoot just to get them on their knees. The staff here may be part of those plenty." Once more, he passes her the weapon, shamelessly grabbing her by the shoulders and putting her in his place. "When you learn how to shoot better, I'll take that as payment that I taught you well."

With a steady and surprisingly patient grip on her arms, busy adjusting her hands and fingers, Yangyang explains to her the very basics as he helped her aim. "Bad eyesight? No problem. Sometimes, a bit of intuition won't hurt. But, if there ever comes a time that you find yourself with a gun and you miss a shot. Don't just stand there and try again — move and take another, might save your life." Now, Yangyang wasn't exactly sure what he was doing here teaching some random woman how to survive such a situation. Heck, he was probably coming off very suspicious to her by now.

"Well, today's the day you learn how. Now shoot," Yangyang flicked his head to gesture at the dummy target, stepping back after he makes sure her vision was lined up properly. "And don't just brush this off. Aim like you mean it. Shoot as if you're going to die if you miss."

@l yangyang "ugh, what's their deal anyway? just because they're experienced doesn't mean they have to make fun of people who are inexperienced, y'know?" yena rolls her eyes at the staff members who were staring at their direction. it didn't matter if it's either her or the young man beside him that they're looking at. all she knows is that these people are so goddamn annoying and she wants to shoot them with the gun she's holding.

"wait, really? can i?" she gasps, "thank you! oh my gosh, i owe you a lot! i really gotta pay you back after this, do you perhaps need or want anything? i got some extra money on me today so just tell me." she grabbed her sling bag she left from the stall she was in earlier, and wore it in before giving an angry glance at the staff members and followed him.

as they arrived at the stall he chose, she felt the awkward vibe around them as silence came passing by. she just stared and watched him prepare and shoot once more, and again her brown orbs are in awe as the bullet shoots through the dummy's heart area.

'damn, he's good.'

she snaps back to reality when he dropped in his question, "i—uhh... yes." she scratches her head, a bit embarrassed.

@c yena "Hm?" Yangyang spared a glance back at the sound of her voice, turning on his heels to face her as he paused in his tracks, brow raised. "No need, all I did was show you how to shoot. It's not that big of a thing to do for someone, you know?" he chortled, feeling some of the tension leave his shoulders as they sparked conversation. "Though, I'd practice away from those people," he muttered, gaze pointing to the staff members that had once been chuckling at her misfortune of an aim not too long ago.

"If you want to," Yangyang starts, already turning his back one more, "You can tag along, and maybe I'll teach you a thing or two about holding a gun... or any weapon, for that matter."

He gestures for her to follow with a simple flick of his wrist, leaving his offer open to her decision if she ever decided to go with him. Yangyang chose another stall further away from the eyes of the staff, much more quieter and not overrun by people who don't know how to mind their own business. Choosing and renting a gun was no trouble, picking randomly from the rack anyway as guns were not exactly his favorite weapon, although he could always make do with them.

The sound of clinking as he slipped the bullets into the chamber echoed throughout the mostly empty hallway, having no more than three to four people in the area they were situated in. He sets the gun down for a moment to wear the given earmuffs, and even though he didn't really need them since he was already quite used to the sound, having some noise get muted would really help his concentration and spare his hearing.

He fires once, a clean shot to the heart area. Yangyang looks around for a moment, but eventually brings his attention to the girl beside him. "I assume you've never held a gun in you life?"

@l yangyang Amazing. Astounding. Breathtaking. Remarkable. These were the words that Yena's mind kept saying after the gunshots. For Yena, she's a bit confused on what to feel - she's speechless, but she's also... scared. Gunshots were a bit terrifying for her because her family was killed this way. For this young woman who had no self-defense training because she spent her time behind large computer monitors, and for this young man beside him who probably took a lot of time learning this, yeah, speechless.

"What do you mean by maybe?" She pouted. She knew she had to give privacy, but her hacker self got carried away and asked the question. Great. As the man gave back the gun, he adjusted her unstable grip. It makes Yena flustered, shaking a bit. She listens to the instructions, which were now being taken by her braincells. Finally.

'Okay, Yena. Focus. Focus!'

As he nods to signify confirmation, she pulls the trigger, closing her eyes after. She didn't want to look at it yet, maybe it missed, or something. She opens her eyes to see that she was able to succeed, another bullet hole present in the dummy target. She gasps in excitement and jumps around, squealing. "I did it! I did it!!" Her smile exclaims in joy, but the smile slowly disappears as she notice the young man preparing to walk away.

"E-excuse me!" Yena calls, "Uhh, thank you. Is there a way to show you my thanks? Like, uhh, money or food or anything?"

@c yena 'Don't give yourself away, idiot.' He hears one of his alters, most probably Liuyan, yell at him from the back of his head. After a short mental reassurance that he wouldn't, Yangyang held up the gun with one hand, arm outstretched and finger right on the trigger. His sense of sight was impeccable, and so the dummy target wasn't spared from any of his bullets, taking one in the head and another right in the middle of the chest.

Yangyang made sure to avoid aiming for the heart area, or else they would get suspicious as to how a teenager-looking kid like him could shoot such a weapon so well. And that was something he would rather not disclose to the very people who ran this place.

"That, I'll tell you later, maybe." Yangyang slips another bullet in, loading the gun before shoving it back into the other's hand. "Hold it like this," he instructs, adjusting her grip. "And whatever you do, don't look away from what you're aiming for. Narrow down, line it up, and fire," Yangyang moves back, nodding his head to tell her to pull the trigger.

His instructions work well, and soon enough, they witness yet another bullet hole straight to head of the poor dummy target. Satisfied, Yangyang looked back towards the staff members, shrugging as he was almost preparing to walk away.

@l yangyang Yena sighs, why did she go to the shooting range again? Oh, yeah, it was to kill time and satisfy her boredom. Yeah, great idea. Great idea to get embarrassed in front of people.

She felt the tap on her shoulder, getting ready to yell at someone if it was another annoying staff member whose going to mock her. As she turns her head, it was a guy, like the same age as her, offering to teach her. Without saying anything, she hands over the gun, and watched as the man took its stance and fires the gun. Bullseye.

Astounding, her mind comments. opens out of amusement. She took a quick glance at him, and back to the target. All she could say was, "h-how... on earth....?" She noticed the unusual silence around the room, as she turns around to see the staff members, speechless. She's guessing it was a signal for them to be silent, but she brushed it off. It was none of her business, anyway.

Yena turns back to the man, "How did you..."

@c yena It was almost a sickness, his therapist once told him, to yearn for something so violent in a peaceful atmosphere. Yet here he was, leaving the comfort of his apartment and abandoning the art piece he had been working on for so long. It was getting too quiet in that little space of his, his new nature urging him to get up and do something rigorous.

And so, Yangyang follows the instinct of his heart and his feet. Like the hitman he was, those instincts lead him to the local shooting range. Typical, Liuyan scoffs in his head at the choice of entertainment, though he makes no move to front and stop the boy from entering.

The smell of hot metal and gunpowder was actually pleasant to the young boy's senses, providing for him a sense of familiarity but without the murder. He lingers around, gaze quickly fixating on a girl not too far from where he stood, being watched heavily by snickering staff members. Now, Yangyang didn't know her at all, though he did not appreciate the way they laughed when she had missed. So out of pity and a sudden, strong urge to prove these men wrong, he shamelessly pushes through them, tapping at her shoulder gently.

"Here," he starts, offering his hand to her as a gesture to hand over the gun, "Let me teach you how to shoot a little better."

[] dropping a random starter bc why not—

It was a hot afternoon, and Yena is in front of her computer screen. She huffs, very much bored. The gang didn't give her any orders on any website to hack yet, and she already finished all the projects in university. She scrolls with her mouse, fixes her anti-radiation glasses, and sighs.

Is there anything that she could do to kill some time?

She scrolls upon a post on social media, an advertisement about the shooting range offering lessons on handling the gun, with discounts for beginners.

"Interesting," she murmurs. "Alright, let's go there! I'm gonna need some exercise, my back is killing me!"

She stood up as she removed her anti-radiation glasses, stretches her body, and opened her closet for a quick change of clothes. Going there in pajamas will be so embarrassing, won't it?

She comes in the shooting range, looking around. Maybe a familiar face will be here, you know? She goes to the registrar, ready for some fun, or so she thought it would be. When the staff is teaching her, the words are entering her one ear, but it goes out on another ear. For her, it was so complicated, she understood nothing. She fires a gun for the first time, but it failed, miserably.

'Aaah, I never thought this would be so hard! I wish somebody would come in and teach it to me with easier terms...' She closes her eyes, her body heat going into her head, getting embarrassed as the staff's eyes are focused on her.
