@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ He hated that he was blushing at the words as being sweet was seemingly in Seonghwa's nature but he couldn't ignore how it messed with his head. 'You're so gross,' he groaned playfully and had he been closer, he would have nudged the older. He did appreciate the words though, the latter had to know that by now.

Hongjoong was slow in his descent down to the ground, shaking his wings out with a deep sigh. 'Plenty of people are in one sided relationships,' he mused, looking up to him and stepping back, ' but youre lucky you arent one of them, hm?'

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ Closing his eyes, the melissae sighed, content with the fresh air and being so high above everything; he felt the happiest when he was in the air. Maybe it was just how much quicker he could travel but he would rather fly than anything else. 'Are you saying I'm too pale for your liking?' He teased, letting himself come back to reality, 'I'm always pretty, mister.'

The sound of delighted, wholehearted laughter left him and he ended up shaking his head a little. 'I do, very much.. love you with every fiber of my being,' he commented, gliding a little lower as they reached the lining of the trees.

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ Letting out a deep sigh, he shook off that weird sense of dread that came with thinking too much about certain things. He just needed to remind himself things were okay and it wasn't just his happiness that was part of the equation. Hongjoong put his focus on the wind, how it felt to be as free as they were; how much of a gift it was to be able to fly. 'Now you're just trying to make me blush,' he mused, doing small little spins in air happily.

The bluenette glanced back at him in awe, the sheer expanse of his wings being quite a sight to see. 'Hm.. do I?' He questioned, snickering to himself, 'I suppose on most days I do, my darling.'

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ Hongjoong more or less mocked his words, knowing they were true and wanting nothing more but to silence them. He was aware the affect his own self doubt and days of being hateful towards himself took a toll on the older, which is why he often worked on things when he wasn't present. He wasn't okay with ever being a reason that Seonghwa was upset or sad, so he did his best to make sure that didn't happen. 'Do you expect me to change what I've said? Flaws or not.. youre still my perfect dragon.'

He'd caught the comment and nearly rolled his eyes, keeping his book close as he moved through the sky. It wouldn't take much to be caught and he didn't really mind, he was just happy to be off the ground. 'You're such a show off, you know?' He called back to him, having seen his little display.

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ 'Ah yes.. we've seen far too many nights of me hating myself over the smallest of things,' he mumbled sheepishly, knowing he got too emerged in his hobbies sometimes. He knew the latter would never be disappointed in anything he did, regardless of the outcome, but he still felt the need to show he was able to do things. 'You know I can't help but praise you,' he answered, his smile something a lot softer than before, 'you must remember I think you're the most perfect creature there is. The bluenette knew what it meant to him that he wasnt upset anymore, thanks to him, so he just nodded.

He was reluctant as he heard the words and knowing they were right; if his timing was wrong, the snowbells would face the consequences. With his wings fluttering just enough for his feet to touch the ground, once they were clear of course, he lightly pulled on his hand, 'You know patience and I have never been too good of friends.. now come on, before I change my mind and get in trouble.' Not bothering to wait for him, mostly for the reason his lover had a lot bigger, stronger wings and it wouldn't matter, he was always amused by the chase.

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ His tongue stuck out in a childlike manner and he shrugged; 'There's nothing wrong with being a perfectionist.. I just want you to have the best.. and I'm a fairy that handles flowers! I should be able to do this. But, I won't over work or over think it.. too much, I promise.' Squeezing his hand, the melissae cooed sweetly over the pink that dusted his cheeks; 'You're so beautiful.' It wasn't the time or place to be praising him, so he'd take the time for that later. 'Mhm..,' he chuckled, 'congratulations.. it helped.'

'I supposed they do.. but, my sweet dragon needs me, too.' Batting his lashes, he knew he wasnt going to win but he still tried, 'I'll do my work and be good.' The words were accompanied by an eye roll, carefully tugging the male's hand, 'Come on then, we've got to get up to the mountains.'

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ 'Reading my mind, I see,' he mused with a low laugh, deciding if anyone could tell what he was thinking, it would most certainly be him, 'but.. I'll just do my best, yeah..? You're too beautiful to walk around with something that isn't as close to perfect as I can make it.' The bluenette eyed him closely before biting back a chuckle; 'I suppose that depends on how badly you want me to be rough with you.' His tone was light and teasing but he knew the older didn't like being ignored or treated like he wasnt around. 'Then, what were you trying to achieve, hm?'

'If I didn't hate the city so much, I'd be getting us a place for the next few hours and just wait until tomorrow to work,' he mumbled, nosing at his cheek with a sigh. Hongjoong pressed a light kiss of his own to the dragon's tiers, 'Then.. if you'd like, I wouldn't mind the help. Let's get going, hm?'

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ 'I could even use a few of your favorite flowers, if you'd like?' He was sure the way his eyes lit up showed just how excited he was at being able to make him something. The fairy smiled to himself, already picturing how he was manage to pull something together- he wouldn't even remotely put anything on his lover that wasn't perfect, not when he himself was an ethereal being. 'At the moment, it feels like you're trying to push a lot of buttons,' he pointed out, raising an eyebrow as if to ask for him to explain.

Hongjoong immediately melted at his soft tiers being captured and a sigh followed after, ignoring the urge to chase after him for more. 'Well.. if you do come,' he began, biting on his lower lip to hide the shy little grin forming, 'you could always help me?'

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ Thinking to himself for a moment, he shook his head; 'Maybe I'll just make you a pretty little flower collar,' he mumbled, 'something with my name on it.' The bluenette was pretty content with that idea, having something on the dragon that made it very clear who he belonged to- marks really only did so much. Hongjoong also had to hesitate in his thoughts, not wanting it to seem like he owned him or was so insecure he needed these things; he knew he wasn't losing him so that wasnt the issue. Flicking his gaze up to him, he huffed softly; 'Uh huh.'

'I'd hope you wouldn't be scared,' he chuckled and shook his head, clearly amused; he tipped his head to nuzzle his palm gently. 'It's not about not liking it. Hm.. do you really want to join me this evening, love..?'

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ 'I wouldn't ask you to wear something like that in public,' he commented, 'I respect you too much to do that to you. Besides.. I love you, you aren't my pet.' Hongjoong took hold of his hand once more and brought it up, pressing a ginger kiss to the back of it. He wouldn't deny the thought and imagery would have been pretty nice but that wasnt something he was going to put the dragon through, hed rather just endure the small feeling he was met with through the public. How Seonghwa felt about it all was a lot important at that point.

Puffing his cheeks, the bluenette peeked up to him. 'It's.. not bad, just embarrassing,' he mumbled and it didn't help that only his kind of fairies did it and their section was his own. There was always a chance the latter would catch him. 'I just.. I would probably die if you ever watched me, okay. You get me in the bedroom.. otherwise, my sessions with flowers are not for prying eyes.'

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ 'It's stupid.' He wanted to ignore it, to show he was bigger than such a ty little problem. Hongjoong listened for a moment before a wicked grin formed over his tiers and he pulled his hand free to brush soft fingertips against his lover's neck. 'A leash..? I mean.. I wouldn't mind putting you on a leash, Darling,' he purred the words with an almost wicked edge, pulling his hand back as if he'd done nothing. 'I'm sure you'd enjoy that, no..? Following behind me.. being pulled and tugged everywhere.' A snicker followed and he shook his head.

Looking away, the faintest little huff left him. 'I.. you already know what I'll have to do,' he muttered and his wings fluttered at the words, 'I- No! Absolutely not.'

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ 'It's.. my fault for getting upset and taking it out on you,' he commented, peeking up to him with a soft frown, 'I shouldn't take out my annoyances on you.' Hongjoong leaned against him a bit as they walked, relaxing and slowly returning to his normal state. He pressed his cheek to the male's upper arm, keeping his book close as he avoided bumping into people or dropping it.

Humming faintly in acknowledgment, the fairy chuckled. 'And, what do you think I'm going to do, my lovely dragon?' He cooed teasingly in return but he couldnt hide the blush over his cheeks. There were several things he did for work, of course there were, but that one thing - it was something that couldn't be put off.

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ He was painfully aware of the older being right; he was beyond capable of whatever needed to be done and he was more than so when it came to putting the latter in his place but, no one would ever believe that. There was something in the way he said the words that made him so much more upset. Hongjoong should have been happy with what they had and shouldn't have even listened to the ty ignorance surrounding them; it should have been enough. 'I'm.. sorry,' he muttered, angry with himself for it getting to the point that an apology was needed.

The bluenette was reluctant to pull away, automatically seeking the dragon's hand to tightly lace their fingers. His wings fluttered at the kiss and he leaned up, offering his jaw a small, affectionate nudge in response. 'Home.. would be nice,' he mumbled, the words causing him to bite back a grin. 'I do have.. uh.. work later, though.'

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ If there was one thing Hongjoong hated, it would be crying, especially in public but he couldn't help it when tears began to fall down his cheeks. It basically made him look even weaker and smaller than everyone already saw his kind as. Shifting his weight, he ignored any of the looks they got and just hid himself against the taller, sniffling softly. 'B-but even so.. at least y-you aren't being underestimated and looked at like.. like someone who's just ing incapable..' he whispered, just loud enough to be heard.

Letting his honey gaze flicker to their hands, he offered a squeeze to the latter's. 'Can we just.. go?' Despite feeling bad, he still hated being in the city.. hated being within the modern limits of their world.

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ The fairy visibly shrank a little, looking down at the words. He wondered when things would change, when your species would stop standing for roles. He clenched his jaw briefly, knowing he was being unfair to the older but he couldnt help that; he was tired of it, tired of being underestimated. 'It's tiring, Hwa,' he muttered, wings going a little limp behind him to show just how he felt.

Hongjoong frowned even deeper as he was called and of course, he stopped, because he really couldn't just walk away from the dragon. They both knew he wasn't going to find anyone else, he couldn't- he needed the latter. That didn't stop the tears that pooled in his eyes though; 'How do you think it feels, huh? At least you're put in high regard to people..'

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ It really wasn't something that should have upset him like it did but he wasn't sure if he wanted to cry in frustration or just set something on fire. It was stupid but people were so hell bent on him being in the role he wasn't just because of how he look; his species. The fairy basically saw red as he tried to leave only to be stopped and he had to ignore the urge to pull away. 'Am I alright? Do you realize how many times this has happened, now?' He hissed out softly, not wanting to pull any unwanted attention their way.

He was more hurt than angry, it took a lot more than that to anger him. What hurt the most was that he could barely even look at Seonghwa in that moment; 'apparently i should just go find another fairy or a damn pixie to ever be regarded how I actually am,' he muttered, bringing a hand up to rub his eyes before rolling them. 'I'm going home.' With that, he pulled away, turning so he could continue on his path.

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ Had his wings been a little more free, they would have been fluttering happily at the innocent action that brought a toothy smile to grace his features. 'I know you would if I asked,' he answered, knowing the male would probably do anything for him if he needed it, 'but, it's across the lake.. it's a long way to go just for some supplies, love.' Despite fairies being considered selfish, generally manipulative little creatures, he tried not to let that seep into how he spoke to him; he didn't want to end up controlling him.

Hongjoong, of course, noticed the way he was mostly ignored as he made it to the counter and he wondered just how long it would take for anyone to stop being ignorant. Upon the question of if they found everything they were looking for, directed above him to Seonghwa, the bluenette pursed his lips. 'You should probably ask the one with the book,' he commented, letting the book drop to the counter from a height just enough not to damage but to make a sound that got his point across, 'which, would be me.' He didn't make it a big secret when he got upset over the misunderstandings when it came to his relationship and the look he received didn't make it any better. His eyebrow went up in a rather challenging manner and his arms crossed, waiting for a comment.

Instead, the book was silently checked out and passed back to him to which he tsk'd before turning away. Voiding his usual niceness that would end with a thank you or some sort of kind words, he just moved to walk away. He didn't even spare the taller a glance, mood souring with ease.

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ The affection caused the fairy to wiggle a little as if pressing closer, always content with feeding from it - well, he did kind of survive on affection and attention. 'It is,' he answered, 'but.. I'll eventually need to travel a bit for some of the things I'll need.' His lips pursed at the idea of leaving his usual area in the forest but knew it would be fruitful in the end so he brushed it off. 'It might be a long trip.'

Awaiting his answer, he straightened in the hold and nodded; 'Y-yeah, let's.. do that.' Hongjoong cursed himself for the catch in speech, his lover's eyes always doing things to him if he was honest; his own honey colored ones came nowhere near the breathtaking blue. Reluctant to face the person behind the counter, he moved a small hand down to Seonghwa's tugging gingerly.

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ Thankfully, the bluenette managed to avoid social interaction in his annoyed mood, feeling pouty over not finding his book. Looking around, he jumped a little hearing the response and before he managed to turn, he was being wrapped up. Tipping his head back to look up at him, he held the bound, cloth book slightly up; 'I found.. something. It's still not what I need exactly.' He briefly wondered if the taller could read the delicate writing across the cover.

Hongjoong flickered his gaze around and looked towards the counter, already knowing he didn’t want to deal with anything they'd most likely end up enduring. 'Would you like to look longer?' He asked, not sure what he'd been looking for or if he'd found something; he just questioned their status of leaving.

@p. seonghwa ᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ Staring at the book in his hands, the fairy wrinkled up his nose while mumbling something along the lines that wasn't his native language; a different dialect that fairies from other regions spoke. The bluenette was mildly oblivious before finally closing the cloth bound book, huffing and fluttering his wings in annoyance, causing a glitter-like substance to dust from them. He'd gotten to a point of giving up looking for what he actually sought after and settled on the one in his hands, eventually peeking up in search of the raven. 'Hwa?' He chimed quietly, head falling into a small tilt. It wasn't need for them to frequent the library or him on his own, constantly looking for new books on flowers and growing fruits and vegetables - it was his job after all.

Hongjoong tucked the book to his chest and crossed his arms to hold it, taking light steps around. He had to stop himself from humming, generally not liking the idea of making sounds around bookstores and libraries.
