@l. chaeryeong ᵐᵉʳᵐᵃᶦᵈ perhaps, it wouldn't be so silly of mark to be a bit more cautious of his surroundings in the future. up till when he saw the woman under the water and when she began to speak to him, the merman wasn't aware of any extra company in the nearest area. the elisora was definitely a safe place for beings like them, so different from humans, yet it would be unwise to think that everyone had good intention, right. fortunately, the mermaid seemed to be a kind soul. "well, why are you asking me that, when you basically did the same thing right after me?", he answered to the latter's question with his own. mark was touched and truly amused with how dedicated she was to saving lives of strangers. "but on the serious note... maybe?", he added, cackling shortly. "but was it really so dangerous? look at me, look at yourself", he scared, pointing at his own chest firstly, before he pointed at his companion. "we're alive, still in one piece."

@t. mark ᵐᵉʳᵐᵃⁿ Chaeryeong was swimming almost frantically to find the other person. But she was enjoying the water surrounding her now. Her coral colored tail moving quickly behind her. She could see the silhouette of another person, not even bothering to look at their legs. She just assumed the male she had seen was drowning and her life guard instincts immediately kicked in harder than they had a second ago. She swam closer and was shocked to see the other with a tail like hers. "I... Yeah... I was... You scared the heck out of me!" She said quickly. "What sane person just jumps off of a cliff from so high up?!" She was relieved that the other was okay though. "I'm just... I'm just glad you're okay... My life guard instincts have never kicked in so hard... You really scared me there..." She looked down at his tail, humming. "I've never seen a merman jump from a cliff like you just did... Are you one of those... People who love the rush of adrenaline?"

@l. chaeryeong ᵐᵉʳᵐᵃᶦᵈ feeling the cooling sensation against his warmed-up skin, mark let out a pleasant sign, submerging into the blue waters of the ocean. for a brief second he was convinced by his ears that they had caught a womanly voice screaming somewhere at the cliff, but tuan couldn't care about these audio hallucinations. just after his toes disappeared under the surface of the waters, the merman switched forms, revealing his true identity to the countless number of fishes that already swam past him. his pair of human legs got replaced by an impressive violet fish tail, helping him to move into water more freely and efficiently. there wasn't any better place in the world to swim in, this cove was everything mark needed to cheer up after long days of his rather gloomy life. when swimming and spinning around in the water, a shadow of a merman? mermaid caught his attention. and mark didn't have to wait too long, until the distance between them shortened enough for him to see the facial features of the mermaid. "hey, hey. were you calling me or something?", he asked with a little smile on his face, remembering the little odd event from a minute or so prior.

@t. mark ᵐᵉʳᵐᵃⁿ Chaeryeong let out a soft hum as she walked towards the cliff. Where she often came to draw or paint. But this time there was another person there. She watched him for a moment as he walked and shrugged it off. Not thinking anything of it. She jumped from there before but she was safe as she was a mermaid. But she'd never seen this guy before. And suddenly became more alert as the other walked closer to the cliff. Oh god.This guy was going ot jump. Wasn't he? She immediately stood up, her mind already racing, ready to switch over forms if she needed to. She watched him start running. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" She shouted. She ran after him but missed grabbing onto his arm. "Jesus!" She jumped off the cliff after him. Her body switching forms as soon as she hit the water and she looked around for the other. "Where did he go?!"

@l. chaeryeong ᵐᵉʳᵐᵃᶦᵈ it was one of those rare days, when mark decided to leave his camera at home and spend the day by himself only, enjoying the cool and refreshing breeze against his skin and into his brown hair, which gradually became an artistic mess with each blow. the weather was truly beautiful, sun rays confidently emerged from behind the fluffy clouds, stroking his skin with pleasant warmth. he was walking leisurely along the cliff, observing the calm waters of the alida ocean, how the powerful waves splashed against the hard rocks, disappearing only to appear again with similar force. as a merman, mark had always been especially attracted to water. the water was everything he loved and needed to be at least content with his life. he felt the best, surrounded by countless droplets of water, when he could feel the wetness against his skin, when he could release his tail and disappear into the dark waters of the ocean. suddenly, he felt like returning home. he took a good running start, before jumping off the cliff straight into the water. yes, he wasn't fully sane.
