*Starts to go down the ladder into the darkness below, pretty much expecting to get killed at this point*

nobody would pay thousands of dollars to a hitman over someone doing nothing. and even if they would, no hitman would accept a contract like that. I know I definitely wouldn't.
*moves to lift up my shirt to examine the wounds on my torso, grimacing after a moment and dropping the shirt*

@Ashley I get paid to kill people that do wrong. this isn't just a hobby. and my services aren't cheap. people really want you dead if they ask me to kill you.
*remarks as I glance back at you as if to see if you're following before I look ahead again*

*glares at you once more as I return to walking the way I was going before*

@Jackal *Stops walking as well and turns around to face you*

@Ashley *stops walking as I listen to you, rolling my eyes*

*turns my head to look at you*
if you hadn't noticed, I'm bleeding out. if you want me to commend you, you're not getting it. you took the time to laugh before you helped. and I'll warn you, if I have to hunt you down again, you won't get the chance to run. you won't even see me coming, I can promise you that.

*Starts to walk back to the city*

@Ashley *ignores your hand as I glare at you, scoffing as I put the gun back in it's holster*

*goes to pick up the axe, having dropped it when you'd tackled me back to the ground, returning it to it's place*

*speaks in annoyance as I start walking away from you, expecting you to follow me despite not telling you to*

@Ashley *lets out a shocked scream when you tackle me back down, grabbing my head after hitting it when I fell before jumping a little as I hear the gunshot, blinking in surprise as the lion drops*
what... the ...?
*looks at you before glaring and taking my gun back*

*mutters under my breath before grunting in pain as the realization of my wounds hits, shifting to carefully stand up*

@Jackal , i missed...
*Barely moves out of the way and runs over to you, tackling you back to the ground and sliding down next to you before grabbing your gun from your holster, clicking the safety off and shooting the lion right between the eyes*
*With my heart pounding out of my chest, I watch as the massive animal falls dead to the ground*

@Ashley *once the lion is distracted I shove it back enough to get my leg under it, kicking it off before moving to my feet, cursing when I notice it starting to go for you instead*
