@✷ › k. youngkyun。 inflections in the other’s voice were indicative of the heavy frustration and hostility he had towards himself, along with the resounding sound of books hitting against the floor. but the smile on his face, already so bright and smug, only grew wider in response. the other may radiate negative energy majority of the time, but that doesn’t mean he can’t get a kick out of it on occasion.
he straightens himself up and folds his hands in front of him on the wooden surface. “aha.. if it makes you feel better, this arrangement is merely a happy coincidence.” he can’t help but chuckle at this occurrence, even with his new seatmate’s sourness.
he gently kicks his much lighter bag out of the way to accommodate space for themselves. “come on broski, no need to be so mad. i’ll make it easier for you to pay attention.” he teases him, not paying heed to the professor entering the classroom.
@✷ › j. jaehyun。 there were times youngkyun wouldn't even bother showing up to class - and it seems that behavior continued with him in stellavenace. after missing the first lecture for social awareness, it had appeared that the lecturer caught on to youngkyun's flighty tendencies and sent him an ultimatum (read: guilt tripped) to show up to class.
so there he was, dredging each step towards the classrooms until he steps in. he could think of a million things that he could do instead of sitting in a classroom for an hour. not to mention, he heard seats were assigned for this class. youngkyun didn't want to have someone else deal with his negative energy for an entire hour.
he sighs while searching for the seat with his name on it and is only in for a rude awakening when he sees who he /has/ to be neighbors with. dropping his bag like a heavy pile of bricks on his own table, he almost glares at the smug male next to him. "why the hell do i have to sit next to you?"

the class bell rings loudly through the halls, and jaehyun casually strides into the room. different to the large lecture halls he was accustomed to, the classrooms in stellavance resembled closely to the discussion rooms in past schools.
week two of social awareness. they’re continuing on their basic overview of social ideologies. the subject was such a bore to him, and he often entertained himself by throwing flirtatious remarks to various women in the classroom.
but those women were often fleeting presences, as class sizes in his experience shrink or increase depending on how important it was to attend class.
he approached the seats located at the back of the room, only to notice something laying on the desks. name cards with the students’ name on it. his eyes drifted to the name card besides his. “kim youngkyun”, it was labeled in clear print. lips curling into a smug grin as he seated himself in his assigned seat, waiting for his new seat mate to arrive.
