@ω • ⌜ k. byeongkwan ⌟ ᵇ Donghun felt his heart leap at the fact Byeongkwan had posted the schedule. A 2 hour stream today. Which, Donghun had expected actually, but anything could happen so it's always good to check. He happily went to the bathroom to get washed up and dressed. The whole time, he just thought about how much he loved the other's streams and how amazing it was to meet him in real yesterday, even though he had been a jerk and ruined the whole thing by being so demanding of the other. He leaned on his kitchen counter as the coffee was brewing, and let out a wistful sigh.

Whoa. Byeongkwan had been /exactly/ like Donghun had thought he'd be. The goth look wasn't just for show, and was something the other wore in real life as he discovered last night. And on top of that, the other one was just as sassy and feisty as Donghun always imagined him to be. He shouldn't be grinning from ear to ear right now, and certainly shouldn't be blushing like he was, but he couldn't help it. The other was cute and y as hell and he got to /meet/ him yesterday. Here, at home in private, Donghun could be his true self and crush on the other as much as he wanted. He didn't have to put on airs in his own home and act disgusted. Donghun just let out a small giggle at the fact he got to see his fave yesterday and he grabbed his cup of coffee and headed to his bedroom and sat all comfy and cozy on his bed, playing on his laptop waiting for the stream.

'I wonder if he'll show his Animal Crossing island today by any chance?' he wondered to himself, thinking about how he has asked Beyongkwan about that just recently in a comment.

@β • ⌜ l. donghun ⌟ ˢ He hadn't really paid any mind to him as he left, collecting the payment and returning to work; the busier hours were beginning and he didn't need to be distracted. The night felt like it dragged on forever before he was falling face first in bed at three in the morning. After returning home, he'd taken a pretty long shower to scrub the nights grime off of him, tucking himself into pajamas and hoping no one would bother him for the next several hours.

Byeongkwan wasn't lucky enough to sleep in, however, as his body was set to a pretty tight schedule and he ended up staring at his wall come eight in the morning. He felt like hammered garbage but got up to start the day, posting his streaming schedule as he made breakfast. It wasn't anything special, a normal two hour stream with whatever game he could find that would hold his attention. He'd promised one of his follows an update to his island on Animal Crossing but did he really have the attention span for that?

@ω • ⌜ k. byeongkwan ⌟ ᵇ Donghun had only been teasing this time, but given the previous incident, it was understandable that the other took him as being demanding this time, too. He pouted. Well, there was nothing he could do now, right? He sighed. He put the money for the drinks on the table and, like he said he would, put a tip. He stood up and left.

When he got home, all Donghun could think about was the other. He went on his laptop and found a Youtube channel that a fan made of making clips of Byeongkwan's best moments and just stared intently at the screen until he got so tired he passed out asleep.

When he woke up, first thing he did was check the streamer's schedule to see if he'd be going live today.

@β • ⌜ l. donghun ⌟ ˢ Clicking his tongue, Byeongkwan looked around before setting his gaze back on the latter, tilting his head. 'Ah ah.. what did I say would happen if you kept deciding to disrespect me..? Like I said.. your rank does not mean a single. ing. thing, here,' he spoke the last words slowly as if it was help him understand and took the glass away from him. 'You will not get another drink from this bar. Go whine and cry to your rich friends, I genuinely don't care. I don't need anything from you, thanks though. I've got clients in this bar, right now, willing to give me anything I'd ask for - no tip you could give would even make a dent in what I could make. It isn't my fault you can't admit to getting hard from something you know you'll never have.' Rolling his eyes, he moved away from him and turned his attention to the few servers by the bar, letting them know that the latter wasn't to get anything and then went about his work. It was pretty easy to ignore someone for him, he did it all the time, from that point on he could do his job like the male didn't even exist.
• ⌜ l. donghun ⌟ ˢ 1 year ago
@ω • ⌜ k. byeongkwan ⌟ ᵇ Donghun turned beet red. "Don't touch me," he spoke gruffly, "I didn't tell you you could do that." He narrowed his eyes at the other. "I have no idea what it is you're going on about. Turn that light back off. No one wants to see that. I thought you might be cute, but never mind, you're tore up from the floor up." Which was a lie, of course. He grabbed his glass and downed it. "Now be a good little vampire and get me a beer this time. And if you do a good job, I /might/ be kind enough to give you a tip. Maybe." The whole time, in his mind, Donghun was going 'oh my god, oh my god, it's him, it's actually him! God he's even hotter in person!' But on the outside he was going to still act disgusted, because what else could he do? Admit he was hot and bothered by a bronze tier...one that worked in a bar...and dressed this way? No never.

@β • ⌜ l. donghun ⌟ ˢ 'Now you know why I keep the lights low.'

Rolling his eyes, he shifted his weight. 'This is what happens when you work a lot and wear waterproof . It's never bothered me before and at this point, I honestly don't even think about it.. I'll end up washing it off completely when I get home, that doesn't get you off the hook, however.' Byeongkwan raised a hand to tap his pointer finger against the male's cheek, showing him a small grin. 'Is that what you spend your time doing? Acting high and mighty when you're out and then getting off to a lowly bronze when you're all alone?' Shifting to lean back once more, he shrugged. 'Wouldn't surprise me if you were that type.. I can't imagine it's fun drooling over high class people, they can get so boring,' he muttered, nose wrinkling up in distaste, 'So, that's your secret, huh?'

@ω • ⌜ k. byeongkwan ⌟ ᵇ Damn. The other had figured out he was lying. He was way too smart for Donghun. But then again, that wasn't saying much, since Donghun wasn't the smartest himself. And, he was bad at lying, on top of all that. Whatever, it didn't matter. He was still going to get what he wanted. The lowlights came on and the bartender leaned in closer to him. Geeze, he hadn't been lying, his makeup did look bad. Geeze, on for two days? Looked more like a whole week to Donghun, but he knew better than to say it. Donghun's eyes widened. Oh god. THAT was how he knew him. He was now fact to face with his favorite streamer. One he donated to often and made requests to. Duh, no wonder he felt familiar, he literally saw his face online all the time. Donghun averted his gaze and said, "Aish, you shouldn't leave it on like that. You'll get acne and wrinkles that way. And if you're not careful, you could get a cyst."
• ⌜ k. byeongkwan ⌟ ᵇ 1 year ago
@β • ⌜ l. donghun ⌟ ˢ Raising an eyebrow as he listened to him talk, it was clear by his features he didn't believe a single word he was saying. 'You know.. You're incredibly bad at lying? One; that's a terrible excuse considering the attitude you had towards me when you came in here, so I know very well you most likely don't enjoy how I'm wearing my makeup.. it's been on my face for two days, including through a quick shower, so I look like a raccoon got caught in a street fight,' he answered honestly, tilting his head, 'Two; if you think it's too dark to see my face, how are you going to comment on my makeup?' Byeongkwan was amused and decided to humor him nonetheless, reaching to flick the switch that the lowlights behind the bar. Stepping forward, he settled his arms on the bar and leaned rather close, looking him in the eyes. 'I know you aren't about to tell me that you, a 'super amazing, high class silver tier', find me familiar? Because.. I can only come up with one reason and well, that would be beneath you, right?' His tone had dropped to that of a mocking whisper, a smile forming on his features. 'But, do be honest. I'd love to hear you admit it.'

@ω • ⌜ k. byeongkwan ⌟ ᵇ Donghun shook his head in response. "No, not really, I guess not." He took the drink. "Thank you." And he took another quick sip. "Hey," he suddenly said, "Can you come closer for a bit? Right under the light. I just wanna...see something." Well, that sounded totally weird to say. "I mean, what I mean is, I do makeup for a living, so I just wanted to see yours, is all. I think it looks pretty good, but I can't really tell since it's so dark. I'm just curious." That wasn't really the reason he wanted to see him upclose. The reasons really being 1. he had a suspicion the other one was cute as hell and wanted to see for himself. and 2. This dude kept feeling so familiar and he wanted to know if he had seen him somewhere before.

@β • ⌜ l. donghun ⌟ ˢ Checking the time, he was more than aware of the rush that was coming and he was keeping an eye out for the worker who was supposed to be joining him; he was willing to put his next paycheck up for a bet that he wasn't going to show up. His mood soured just a bit at the thought, taking the momentary anger out on tying the bag of garbage far too tightly and disappearing for a moment to take it out the back. Byeongkwan didn't really let himself think about what anyone in the place thought him or his work - he had plenty of friendly acquaintances from all tiers, even people from higher tiers left him pretty good tips because without him, their favorite wouldn't be in business - and he wouldn't say he was ashamed of it, no. He'd rather have a pretty good income and live around humble people that be surrounded by pearly gates and people with noses so high they'd drown when it rained. He found himself getting stuck in his thoughts and shook them off, moving back behind the bar and washing his hands; he was pretty sure his frustration was clear on his features to whoever was paying attention.

Humming in acknowledgment, he moved to prepare another drink for him, setting it down and clear the other glass. 'Are you scared now?' He questioned, referring to the sudden change in the way he spoke - it wasn't rude this time around, he was purely curious. 'As long as you aren't being a , I'm not going to do anything to you, so don't worry about it,' he muttered, wiping off the counters around him for anyone else who felt the need to sit down.

@ω • ⌜ k. byeongkwan ⌟ ᵇ Donghun had been thinking. The other wasn't wrong about the gears moving in Donghun's mind. But Donghun wasn't exactly the brightest burning start in the sky, so to speak, so if the gears were moving, they were moving a beat or two slower than those of most people. He was simple minded about most things and pretty much just believed anything he had be told to believe. Hence his dislike towards bronze tier people. He had been brought up to believe they were lazy, trashy, and no-good thugs by his parents. Just how he had also been brought up to believe that guys like the one right in front of him weren't attractive. All of his school friends would bully and beat up guys that looked like that. Which is why Donghun didn't want to be honest with himself about his attraction to this type. But this guys hair, clothes, and even attitude was...lets just say that Donghun was biting his lip.

Donghun mused to himself. Thinking that the other one would probably have a cute face too, if only he could make it out better. He squeaked out a 'thank you' when the other handed him his drink and before he could say anything else, the other was gone. Donghun sighed and quickly gulped down the drink, trying to get rid of it as soon as possible so he could see the other one again. "H-hey," he said, gently calling to the other, "Um, c-could I have another, please?"
• ⌜ k. byeongkwan ⌟ ᵇ 1 year ago
@β • ⌜ l. donghun ⌟ ˢ Byeongkwan thrived on the visual response he received, content to have knocked the latter down a peg. One look around could tell you that the bar was frequented by every tier for one simple reason; sometimes, you just needed to spend a night at a ty bar and not care. 'I can see the gears moving in your head,' he pointed out, leaning back against the back bar and crossing his arms, 'if you feel the need to continue your power trip, I'd suggest you leave before trying.' He half expected him to continue on his tangent and really, he wouldn't have minded, he had a good amount of aggression to get out and it was only a problem for cops when there was a witness, right? He knew the patrons well enough that they'd deny his involvement.

Eyeing him and thinking over his request, he finally clicked his tongue. 'Good boy,' he mused, somewhat condescending but when did he not come off that way? He turned away to go about making his drink, getting a few comments from the others at the bar that he semi acknowledged; multitasking was easy but sometimes, at the wrong times, his social meter enjoyed ing with him. 'Here,' he sighed, setting the glass in front of him, 'if you need anything else, let me know.'

@ω • ⌜ k. byeongkwan ⌟ ᵇ Donghun actually leaned a bit back in fear when the other approached him. Of course, he didn't lean too much, for fear of falling out of the barstool. Donghun couldn't stand these types. They thought they were hot stuff just because they dressed like freaks or whatever. As if that makes anyone special or better. Ha. If anything it just makes you weird, ugly, and a freak. Or at least, that was the stuff Donghun would tell himself and tried to convince himself that was how he really felt. But, no, how he really felt about it was completely the opposite. Donghun's mind flashed to his favorite streamer, a gamer guy who often wore goth clothing and would dress in fishnets, crop tops, anything the viewers had asked for. Donghun had even made requests a couple of times and had donated to ensure he'd see what he wanted to see. Odd. Why was Donghun thinking about that guy now?

The other was rude, and Donghun didn't like that. But, then again, he hadn't entered with the most grace or class, either. So it was only fair. Plus, he was now a bit scared. And, not only that, he was also a bit...flustered. Yeah, let's call it flustered. Donghun bit his lip and was blushing. Not so much because he had his pride wounded, but because the way the other didn't take his crap and put him in his place was kind of...oh dear god he didn't want to admit this to himself....y.

"I-I'd like a margarita please, if you wouldn't mind, t-take your time," was all he could whimper in response. He was stuck between being scared, being hot and bothered, and being a bit annoyed.

Still, something about this bartender seemed...familiar? Somehow? It was too dark to see his facial feature clearly though.

@β • ⌜ l. donghun ⌟ ˢ In the midst of fixing his clothes and making sure his skirt wasn't dragging through the contents of the floor, the red head looked up at the demand. The only thing he could really do was let out a sharp laugh, something that said he really wasn't afraid of losing his life, and moved to stand in front of him. 'Talk to me like that again and I can promise you, the last thing you'll be asking for is a margarita,' he hissed, narrowing his eyes like he dared him to say something. He didn't care what tier he was from but the patronage to his workplace had a mutual understanding; you respect the bartender and you have a nice night, it didn't matter who did what or how much money they made. 'Consider this purgatory.. your status doesn't mean a damn thing and if you want to keep your teeth, you'll learn some damn manners.' He gestured around the bar and to the eyes that had shifted to the commotion before stepping back from the counter.

'Now, if you'd like to ask nicely for your drink, I'll get you one,' he offered, 'but until then, you can sit there like a child and think about your ty attitude.' There were only two places in the world Byeongkwan didn't feel out of place for his tier; home and work. He knew he wouldn't be able to be so confident had the latter been an Alpha however but he pushed that thought to the back of his mind and began cleaning up.

@ω • ⌜ k. byeongkwan ⌟ ᵇ 'D-did a bronze league just talk back to me?' was all that Donghun was thinking when the bartender of this...fairly disgusting in his opinion....bar just spoke to him in that manner. He was a customer and a silver league, dammit. Not that it mattered what league /Donghun/ was. It mattered more so what league the other was. And it was more than obvious just by looking at him that he was trash. Not to mention /it/ worked here of all places. A bar full of drunks, s, and lowlives in the middle of the bronze district. Or at least, that was Donghun's /opinion/ of these people, anyway. Anyone would be an idiot if they didn't get the vibe that the other was bronze league. It was so easy to pick up on, on who was who and what value they had. Donghun was the type to be nice and kind to anybody, but to be disrespected by someone wasn't anything he'd tolerate. It would have been just an annoying inconvenience if it had been one of his own, a silver level. It would have been a bit embarrassing if it had been from a diamond level person, but could have been something he could have ignored by telling himself 'oh well diamonds are snobs anyways'. But to be DISRESPECTED by a BRONZE was not it, chief. Especially one that /clearly/ didn't know what fashion was and dressed like...that.

"Hey, come and give me what I asked for," Donghun spoke loud enough for the other to hear. That stupid goth freak was going to give him what he wanted, or else Donghun would leave and then put a scathing review of the place on the internet when he got home. Or, in reality, he probably would chicken out of leaving the negative review, and probably just sulk about his bruised ego. And, then to make himself feel better, maybe watch some old clips from past streams of his favorite streamer (who also wore goth fashion, but that's neither here nor there).

@β • ⌜ l. donghun ⌟ ˢ Friday nights. The worst nights of all, if not Sunday.

Byeongkwan spent most of his evening shift flirting with the older crowd while trying not to gag, his only saving grace being the tips he collected. He didn't generally mind it but the raging migraine he'd been accompanied by and the way his clothes were rubbing on his skin made him want to walk straight into traffic - that wasn't an option, however. The night was more or less slowing down before it would get worse and he was content to chat with regulars, dropping his facade to show just how desperate he was to go home. The knock against the counter caught not only his attention but the two people he was talking to; that didn't really just happen, did it? Exchanging looks, he made his way over and looked over the male.

'Walking into a bar doesn't mean leaving your manners at the door.' It wasn't a greeting nor an acceptance of his order but that's all he'd be giving until the latter decided to show some decency. Byeongkwan moved along, giving a few refills and wishing a couple people a good night as they left. He settled at the end of the bar, stretching and fixing the mesh sleeves that tended to slide over his hands and end up sticky by the end of the night; he hated it.

@ω • ⌜ k. byeongkwan ⌟ ᵇ It had been a rough week. Work was a mess and he had to deal with some crappy customers at the department store. Donghun was just glad that it was the weekend and he could get a couple days to himself. It was the Friday night, so he was going to get a drink to clear his head and calm his nerves. He and a friend had planned on meeting here to drink and hang. This was a bar that Donghun was unfamiliar with, as it was in the bronze district, and he had never been there before, save for one time at the beach. Donghun entered and sat at the var, only to feel his phone buzzing. He pulled it out to see a message from his friend saying he couldn't make it.

Ugh, he came all this way and even drove to an unfamiliar place just because this guy suggested it, and now he wasn't going to show? Ugh. Well, he was already here, so... might as well get a drink or two. He knocked on the counter to get the bartender's attention. "Give me a margharita," he spoke dryly, not even bothering to ask nicely.
