@❥ joo wonik camila steps into the pod room, looking around the area in slight awe for finally experiencing in person what she'd briefly watched previously. "Oh wow." she mutters to herself and takes a seat on the comfy sofa, legs crossed, notepad in one hand, feeling nervous. her curious gaze turned over to the radiant screen that must be blocking her and her date on the other side. "Hello there, i am camila, how about you? Is it okay if we speak in a casual sense?”
@❥ kang haewon lucas’ shoulder shook with a light laugh of entertainment when age was mentioned. as if the man on the other side could see him, he shook his head to reassure both of them, as he had been told he’s too old to be dating— he should already be settled down with children, a almost daily claim made by elder patients he assisted. “I’m sure you’re not that much older! we’re probably closer in age than you think. more so than others here.”
“ is there a usual way of things?” he then questioned, head tilting to the side slightly. “I haven’t had enough time in the ‘pool’ , work doesn’t leave enough time for long term interaction.” or maybe he was just a workaholic. he shifted in his seat, leaning against he plush cushions behind him. “so we can just throw out the idea of ‘the usual’ and do what we want, how about that? the standards can be created by us.”
@❥ kim siwoo A slender figure can be seen approaching the door of the pod, one hand taking a hold of the door knob while she had hugged a hard cover notebook to her chest and just before she enters she takes a few deep breaths; it was to ease her nerves. Once she enters her eyes are looking in awe at how the pod was decorated, admiring the pretty colored lights here and there before making her way to take a seat at the sofa. The young woman brings one of the decorative pillows and sets it on her lap, the notebook she had held now being laid on top of the pillow. Having settled down on the sofa seemed to help her calm down, a determined smile curls on her lips, umber orbs staring at the murky colored glass as curiosity not piques her; just who exactly was behind it and were they truly the one? Or perhaps someone who would grow to be a very best friend. "Hey, hey! Hope your travels here went well, it's nice to meet you by the way. I'm Seonbi. You can go ahead and speak as comfortably casual."
@❥ lucas han the blind introductions were still going to take some getting used to for haewon. he had perched himself on the arm of the sofa in wait rather than sit directly on a cushion. his thick fingers tucked back the sleeves of his shirt while soft jangle of his metal wristwatch around his wrist was the only announcement of his presence waiting on the other side of the bright screen separating the pod. then his date mercifully announced himself.
“it’s a pleasure to meet you, lucas. i’m haewon.” he responded, his shoulders relaxing a little as he spoke in his deep, almost soothing voice. “i think comfortably is best, given just how ‘blind’ this date is.” there’s a slight rustle of denim against the material of the sofa as he makes himself comfortable. “i’m likely a bit older, so i hope that doesn’t bother you? i’ve probably had too much time in the dating pool to become disillusioned with the usual way of things.”
@❥ kang haewon being hard wired to turn feelings such as nervousness into more positive feelings such as confidence and even adrenaline made it easier for lucas to approach people a lot easier ontop of being a naturally friendly and talkative person already. being surrounded by people and meeting new people daily made it easier.
but this was still a new situation, something he had never experienced before. he was sure that if he was nervous that the person on the other side surely was too. he waited a few moments to let the stranger get settled before he spoke up. "hello, i'm lucas." he started, voice smooth. "its easier said than done but lets speak comfortably, okay?" he added, a certain tone that he uses to comfort others while working peeking out.
@❥ choi sohee it’s easy to figure the gender of the voice speaking and for some reason, he doesn’t feel too worried about getting by. don’t get him wrong, he’s no ist; rather he’s just more used to males considering his career choice. anyway, he spares no time in replying, “sure, why not? i’m siwoo by the way.” there’s a pause between his words before he continues, “how’s your day going?”
@❥ kim siwoo “hello?” he calls out with a voice gentle as autumn breeze, the calm tone highly contrasting the tumultuous nerves wrecking through his insides. with both fist curled against his lap, he gathers the courage to introduce himself. “i’m sohee, is it alright if we start off speaking casually?”
@❥ song iruri minyeong enters the pod, settling onto the couch after closing the door. she lets out a nervous breath as she stares at the colorful screen that is between her and her date on the other side. "okay, hi, I'm really nervous and I don't know why." she laughs softly before speaking again. "anyway, I'm minyeong, what is your name?"
