@❧ lee sunhee “it’s nice to speak with you, sunhee.” he responded with a friendly tone, he made it an effort to not sound so serious. without the assistance of facial experience he felt like more effort is needed to assure all words came out with the intentions meant, there wasn’t room for misinterpretation.
his fingers tapped against the cool glass in his hand as he thought about how to approach the conversation starter. “ so, tell me about yourself. i know, such a basic and boring conversation stater!” he laughed off how much he actually hated starting it off in such a way, but it felt appropriate since there wasn’t much to base anything on just yet. even the most boring details were a must.
@❧ park minyeong A slender figure can be seen approaching the door of the pod, one hand taking a hold of the door knob while she had hugged a hard cover notebook to her chest and just before she enters she takes a few deep breaths; it was to ease her nerves. Once she enters her eyes are looking in awe at how the pod was decorated, admiring the pretty colored lights here and there before making her way to take a seat at the sofa. The young woman brings one of the decorative pillows and sets it on her lap, the notebook she had held now being laid on top of the pillow. Having settled down on the sofa seemed to help her calm down, a determined smile curls on her lips, umber orbs staring at the murky colored glass as curiosity not piques her; just who exactly was behind it and were they truly the one? Or perhaps someone who would grow to be a very best friend.
Her attention is taken away from her inner thoughts when she hears a voice, a soft chuckle emitting and though the other couldn't see it, Seonbi nods her head in agreement with the words. "I'm a little nervous too, just take your time with it. Ah- I'm Seonbi. Yoon Seonbi. Very good to meet you." Upon having learned the other's name she write it down in her notebook. "So then.. Minyeong, tell me a little bit about yourself, like, what is your comfort food you'd say. Mine would have to be curry."
@❥ lucas han she wasn't normally the nervous type but for some reason the nervousness is really peeking out for her today, this whole situation has her nervous but also excited as well, she could feel her heart beating out her chest. she was normally the loud and talkative type, but right now, she was feeling the complete opposite and just wanted to hide away.
she walked in the room, her eyes looking around the room with awe as she made her way to the chair and seated herself. she made sure to make herself comfortable, when she heard the other person voice, she tensed up a bit. she cleared and said with more calm tone than normal. "hello, i'm sunhee, i agree, lets speak comfortably."
@❥ song iruri as he entered the pod, the handle caught against the metal of haewon's wristwatch, the soft clatter and metallic scrape announcing his arrival before he had the chance to either knock or say so himself. clumsiness, always a winning trait to display on a first date. haewon sighed and raked his fingers through the front of his hair, pushing the dark strands of his fringe back from his brow as he closed the door behind himself and remained standing. "that's a great first impression," he rumbled to himself, his voice deep and only rising a little in volume as he spoke to the wall separating the pod, "unfortunately for you, i'm your next date - haewon."
@❥ choi sohee "I am Wonik," he answered immediately after hearing the other party introduce himself. "Of course, we can; the more casual, the better. It is easier for us to get to know each other that way." Wonik believed that the fastest way to engage in a meaningful conversation was to drop any sense of formality between the parties while maintaining respect.
@❧ lee sunhee being hard wired to turn feelings such as nervousness into more positive feelings such as confidence and even adrenaline made it easier for lucas to approach people a lot easier ontop of being a naturally friendly and talkative person already. being surrounded by people and meeting new people daily made it easier.
but this was still a new situation, something he had never experienced before. he was sure that if he was nervous that the person on the other side surely was too. he waited a few moments to let the stranger get settled before he spoke up. "hello, i'm lucas." he started, voice smooth. "its easier said than done but lets speak comfortably, okay?" he added, a certain tone that he uses to comfort others while working peeking out.
@❥ joo wonik “hello?” he calls out with a voice gentle as autumn breeze, the calm tone highly contrasting the tumultuous nerves wrecking through his insides. with both fist curled against his lap, he gathers the courage to introduce himself. “i’m sohee, is it alright if we start off speaking casually?”
@❧ yoon seonbi minyeong enters the pod, settling onto the couch after closing the door. she lets out a nervous breath as she stares at the colorful screen that is between her and her date on the other side. "okay, hi, I'm really nervous and I don't know why." she laughs softly before speaking again. "anyway, I'm minyeong, what is your name?"
