○Lake

@♒ Baekhyun ♒ "Don't thank me..." Yukwon said simply as he tightened his grip slightly on the fragile being. He hated it when people had thanked him for things that were so simple that it was nearly stupid to him. "Besides, you were going to die anyways if you stayed here any longer." Looking down, he locked his light grey eyes looking into the boys brown ones. "Would you really want to stay here and die? Or leave and live the long life that's ahead of you?" Yukwon questioned, leading his eyes back ahead of him as he wanted to pay attention to where he was walking. "Even though I do think that life is a bit of a drag, it doesn't mean that other people do too..."

@✹ U-Kwon ✹ Baekhyun couldn't stop a little scream that made its way past his lips when he found himself in the other's arms and his face flushed bright red when he realized he was completely and that was inappropriate. Or so he thought. He put his arms around his neck, holding onto him so he wouldn't fall. "Thank you. . . " Smiling brightly, comfortable against his warm chest oblivious to the other's thoughts. Baekhyun rested his cheek on his shoulder, closing his eyes. "I'm sorry it's just. . . I've been really cold all this years. It's just a moment." It was like his body was frozen and it was starting to melt against him. " I'm sorry I'm here all and you have to carry me, I'm sorry. I'll repay you somehow, someday. Thank you. . . What's your name?" It was almost funny he left a complete stranger take him away from his lake, but he did it and he wouldn't go back.. He couldn't really grasp the thought of "dangerous" he couldn't really comprehend it. Baekhyun only reacted to it instinctively, but thinking consciously about it to him a person who help him that way could not be dangerous or a bad person.

@Baekhyun Yukwon's grey eyes had looked over at the males tale, watching it was transitioning into two human legs. Surprisingly, his legs were smooth but nearly as pale as he was. Honestly, they were beautiful. 'I would love to sink my teeth into them someday' he thought as his tongue ran across his bottom lip. Yes, it was wrong to think like this with him in this kind of condition but...he just looked so succulent that it was killing him. Shaking his head, Yukwon walked towards him, his playful smirk still evident. The male looked so adorable trying to walk, it made him look even more eatable.

"You need some help?" Wrapping an arm around his waist, he bent down a little bit to lift him up from the back of his legs, lifting him up bridal style. "It isn't the right time for me to teach you how to walk. Okay? It's too late for me to do that and besides... You're and I don't want to keep having your near me."

@✹ U-Kwon ✹ Baekhyun scowls, splashing him some water. " I would if needed." He actually couldn't begin to grasp the thought of being away from the lake. Using his legs. . . could he do that anymore? Getting excited and not wanting to annoy the other who was so kindly offering his help, he jumped over the rock again, finally taking his tail out of the water. "I don't. . . I don't even know how to get my legs back. I think. . . I have to wait a little." He felt his body relax when he was out of the lake and the poor boy couldn't help but let himself fall over the rock. "I never thought I would say this, but I don't want to see water ever again."

Laughing, Baekhyun wiggled his tail in the air to dry it and it didn't pass much time before it was replaced by a pair of white, soft legs. He almost couldn't recognize them as his as he tried to stand up weakly but they just wouldn't follow his instructions. It took him some time to stand, but his knees were shaking so much he thought he could fall. Even like that, he tried to walk slowly to reach him, smiling.

@Baekhyun "You really want to sell yourself to me for you to be free of this place?" He laughed, shaking his head in disappointment. "Look, kid, I don't want anything from you. Just get out of the water already and let's go." Standing up on the rock, he motioned his hand for him to come towards him. "Come on~ don't be scared. As I said before, I don't bite too much." Hoping off of the rock and onto the ground, he stuffed his hands inside of his pockets. How long was it really going to take for this one to get out of the water?

"Look, nothing is going to hurt you unless you let it. If you can't walk correctly once you get near me then I will help you." Why was he doing this all of a sudden? Well, first, he hated to see how pathetic the other had looked. Helpless and defenseless. Plus, there was nothing for him to do here. How could he have been trapped here for so many years and not want to get the hell out of this place? It was bull in his opinion.

@✹ U-Kwon ✹ "¿How. . . Am I supposed to survive out there. " He mumbled, listening intently to his answer. Baekhyun winced and hid in the water, scared of what was to come. ¿Should he leave?¿Should he stay? He wasn't sure what to do. Even if he was uneducated, he wasn't dumb and he knew there wouldn't be another opportunity like this. Sure, the other didn't seem like the kind of person who would help him, but it wouldn't hurt to ask anyways. It was that or staying there until someone came to hunt him the lake where there was no place to hide.

Baekhyun emerged from the water just besides the rock and looked at the guy with scared big eyes, his lips pressed on a thin line while he studied him before talking. "Would you. . ." He started but then he realized he sounded too weak. The person in front of him definitely wasn't weak and he wouldn't want to take him for free, just to be a nuisance.

"Take me with you. I don't know if I possess something you might want, but you can have it. What ever you want that I can give I will give. Please. . . don't leave me here." He begged more and more desperate with every word leaving his lips. Finally he had the strength to leave the lake, but he would be doomed if he left it alone, he knew. He could not survive on his own at least until he learned the basics to be a functional part of society. He would hold on to his last and only opportunity no matter what.

@Baekhyun "How's the real world?" He repeated the question, wondering to himself how he was going to answer the question. In all honesty, he would prefer the real world over his own. There was a lot more to do and a lot more places to wander about in than just one area. Plus, they have graveyards. "Well...In all honesty, I like the real world better than the Dark Kingdom...there's lots to do except for the people. The humans annoy me a bit but some I can handle if I have enough patience." He shrugged. "I think you would like it..maybe. That's only if you find the right people to communicate with. A lot of the times they're s and won't care about your well being and only about yourself, but in all honesty it's safer out there than here. A lot of humans come here in this lake to hunt for fish, or for even creatures like you."

A devious smirk was now rising on his lips. Maybe he should have a little fun with him. "If you stay here any longer, the humans will come to hunt you down. Maybe even eat you or sell you for a big round of money. That won't happen if you would just come out of the waters." He was just playing with the creature, but even if he was playing, partially of what he was saying was of the truth. Lately they've been capturing creatures like him and selling or skinning them. Maybe he should just leave him here and enjoy the sight of that.

"It's your choice little one. You either leave or stay and die."

@✹ U-Kwon ✹ He listened to what the other had to say, but he wasn't too surprised. Even if Baekhyun didn't know, he suspected it was a lie to keep him away. But. . . That was main reason he didn't leave the lake before. He didn't know his father, his mother tossed him like a pile of trash inside that lake and tricked him to believe he was cursed only so she wouldn't see his face anymore. His parents didn't want him, there was no guarantee there would ever be someone to care. He knew his lake. Even if he barely could sleep at night, even if he was scared all the time, it was his home. Leaving it, would mean he had nothing else. Nothing to go to, nothing to catch him.

"¿How is the world? " He asked shyly, playing nervously with his fingers. "My mom always had me locked at home, I barely know how to read and write, so I don't even know if it's worth it, to leave the safety of the lake. You might think I'm a coward but I'm just. . . afraid of the things I don't know."

Embarrassed, he finds the strength to jump graceful into the water, disappearing for a moment before peaking his eyes over the surface to watch him, curious.

@♒ Baekhyun ♒ Raising an eyebrow, he couldn't help but to think how stupid the other was. Did he really think that was his mother said was true? Mermaids can't DIE from being detached from the water, they can only die if they don't have at least some type of intake of water when they're on land. He rolled his eyes, running a hand through his hair as he sighed. Just when he was about to say something, Yukwon was slightly taken a back from the sudden question. "You want to ask a stranger a question?" He shrugged slightly. "Why not...knock yourself out.."

He had almost forgotten what he was about to say earlier until it had finally came back to him. "Ah! Before you say anything-" Looking into his eyes, he smirked again. "You're an idiot. Mermaids or..men... Can't die if they're out of water. Once they hit land and their tails turn into feet, they're fine. They just need to drink bottled water or any type of source of water to survive. Just to give you a heads up." Giving him a wink, he sat up a bit, giving him is full attention. "Okay, ask away, and it better not be a stupid question either."

@✹ U-Kwon ✹ Baekhyun couldn't help but jump and tremble when the other flashed right beside him, his face so close that he could see his fangs, making his face go paler because of the fear. "Please don't bite me." He managed to let out as he squirmed over the rock, trying to put some distance between them. He was dangerous. Baekhyun was dense but he could still feel it and he was scared because he didn't know how to fend himself, actually he never needed it until now. "I can't. . . I. . . My mom said the moment I left the lake I would die. . ." Baekhyun lets his eyes fall to the water, thinking sadly of all the possibilities if only he wasn't a coward. He never thought of leaving the lake because there never was something so strong or important to make him risk his life for it. There was nothing outside the lake for him. Also, if the lake was this scary, how scary could be the sea, so big and misterious. "Can I ask you something?"

@♒ Baekhyun ♒ Yukwon couldn't help but chuckle at the scared little tone that the male asked him in, turning his head to the side in a taunting way. "What's the matter cutie?" After his sentence, he was gone in a flash, immediately appearing next to the other creature as he was deathly close to his face. "Cat got your tongue?" He asked, flashing a smirk as his fangs had shown. "Don't be scared, I don't bite...hard." The fear in the others eyes had amused him greatly. It was fun messing with other species other than his. "Calm down, I'm not here to kill you or anything." Moving away from his face, he sat up straight but his eyes never left him. "Besides, what is a cute little merman like you doing here in a lake? Especially at this time of night. Do you know how dangerous it could get in this lake? Besides, doesn't your species have the ability to walk on land once you get your...tail on it? I've seen it before so I'm sure you're no different."

@✹ U-Kwon ✹ Baekhyun stayed there, over the rock for a while trying to coax his own mind out of the paranoia since he had to stay, or at least a part of him, in the water no matter if it was scary or not. Somehow, being scared of the water made him feel even more of a stranger in the world. He didn't know any other mermaid but he would bet an arm that there weren't many mermaids scared of water. It wasn't a strange thing, being that his mother conditioned him to be scared of it in the first place when he was little but then suddenly threw him in that lake, no warnings, no time to prepare himself and now, there was no escaping.

Since, again, he didn't know much people at all, Baekhyun was really bad at detecting other forms of life even if they were in front of him, so it really surprised him to see someone sitting almost right beside him. He jumped back, scared and confused and made a move to jump into the lake to find protection and a hideout but in the moment his eyes fell into his own reflexion in the calm, dark surface, his body froze. He tried to move but the panic was way too much and his breath started to quicken as his eyes frantically moved back and forth, trying to find a way out. He just couldn't jump inside, the monster would eat him.

— W-Wh-Who are you. — He whispered softly, hoping the other would hear.— What-What do you want.

@Baekhyun For some strange reason, he wanted to wander around in the night. There wasn't anything wrong with it, in fact, night time is when he's mostly active. So far, he hasn't found anywhere to rest at but a small lake. Thing was, there was too much fog around for him to see anything...normally. "Ah..." He sighed out, slowly closing his eyes for a few seconds before opening them back up. As soon as he opened his eyes, their color had changed from a dark brown to grey. This way, he could see in the night, even pass thing like fog or smoke. As far as he could see, there wasn't anyone or anything around him. Good, no disturbances.

Sitting down on one of the large rocks that were resting on the muddy ground, Yukwon laid his body back, a peaceful sigh escaping him. He didn't know why but...areas like this calmed him down the most when it was scared most people. Just when he thought that he was actually going to be able to relax, his ears couldn't help but pick up the sound of the water splashing, as if something was trying to get out of it. His eyes snapping open, Yukwon quickly sat up as he looked over to his side, eyes narrowing at the sight. As he thought. A mermaid. Yet...why would one be living here? At a lake? When there was a fresh water ocean near by? Besides, couldn't they have their tails transform into legs once they get on land?

@✹ U-Kwon ✹ The fog, was the thing he hated the most. Specially foggy nights, when the substance stayed there, thick, covering everything's surfaces and blending the earth and water. The full moon's light dripped from the sky, chasing away little by little, but not completely, his most secret terrors that tormented him since he was a child; of big slippery dangerous monsters living in the parts of the lake the eyes cannot reach, coming out to hunt on foggy nights like those.

Baekhyun shook his head, rushing between the murky waters, jumping out of it, hidden in the fog to climb a big rock, always being careful to keep his tail inside the lake. The fog wasn't that high that night so half of his body stuck out of it, only his tail remaining concealed. The moonlight made his scales shine like fresh wine spilled over the rock, as well as his white skin and wet brown hair and he just stayed out of the water, away from the monsters his mind was trying to create, monsters of which he can't escape, trying to endure another night with out going crazy.

@✹ Yunho ✹ Jaejoong caught the unspoken message as soon as the wolf appeared before him, and maybe he would have smiled at the sudden little adventure that loomed in his way if he wasn't in this body. The message didn’t put him off, of course. He rather liked the aggressiveness. People around him in the city were too coward; so much that he despised most of them. The panther watched unabashed as the other creature moved around him, seemingly preparing to attack, and Jaejoong’s supposition wasn’t wrong. Because of a single moment of weakness though, he didn’t get to avoid the other’s claws and teeth, which were now jabbed into his throat. He snarled lowly as he was struggling to get away from the wolf’s, using his front paws in order to try and get him off of him.

@Jaejoong 'Get out of here'. If his wolf form allowed him to speak,Yunho would have already spat those words at the other being. He didn't like this animal. Not one single bot. And he was determined to make him leave his territory alone. If he didn't withdrew with a warning, then he'll have to do this the hard way, violence. With his ears perked up, he took one last step forward, teeth gritting hard against each other as he walked around the black furred animal, studying it's every movements, waiting for the perfect time for him to launch an attack. Just as he was at the left side of the other, he jumped, launching both its claws and tooth at his enemy's neck area. He didn't bother to hold his power in, he just bit it as hard as he could and trashed around, trying to make the wound on the other's deeper

@✹ Yunho ✹ The shifter opened his eyes and raised his head, away from the surface of the lake, immeidately looking in the direction of the growl he had just heard. Jaejoong didn't realize that there was someone so close to him that they could hear the sounds he was making, and he was a little taken aback at first. The menacing sounds of the animal that had just appeared before him and the fangs that threaten him didn't scare Jaejoong, even though he wasn't expecting someone to disturb his peace right then. He scooted away from the water slowly, stepping a little closer to the other creature. It wasn't his first time dealing with wolves, and he was somehow used to them and to their dislike towards him. A low growl escaped his throat as his crimson eyes met the other's fearlessly. Jaejoong wasn't fond of the idea of running away, and he was not going to do it now.

@Jaejoong With his back laid on the shinning green grass, eyes closed, Yunho enjoyed thr feeling of the cold wind tickling his skin. He was still in his human form, his body wrapped in a white plain T-Shirt and slick black jeans. These days, he would try to avoid shifting into his real form. After all, this was his teritory, no one will even enter his base, or at least that was what he thought. Though it all changed as soon as his sharp ears heard a sound as if something was drinking. His eyelids slowly opened up, showing his sapphire blue eyes and before he knew it, he was already in his wolf form, pointy ears, sharp teeth, jet black silky like fur. With a low growl, he walked step by step towards the trespasser. As soon as he saw what appears to be an animal, covered all in black, his growls went louder than before, fangs showing, his gaze mentally throwing daggers at the animal standing just a few feets before him

@✹ Yunho ✹ Sometimes, it became tiresome for Jaejoong to stay in the city, and in moments like these, he just ran off to the place where there was no noise and annoying people around. Now was also one of those moments when he preferred to see the calming greens of the foliage and to hear the soothing melody of the wind brushing against his ears. He was walking slowly, after he shifted back into his animal form, which allowed his inner wildness to meet the surface again, without it being confined inside Jaejoong's human form. He felt a kind of relieve when he sensed no one around after a while, which let him take on his panther body, supple, coated by sleek, black fur, which reflected the meek sunlight playfully when he moved and the rays formed small light waves onto the dark surface. The feline stopped by the lake, drinking from the sweet water, quenching his thirst.

@Chanyeol Sehun's gaze stayed fixed on the tall latter. Slowly, he regained his normal breathing and quit on receiving support from the tree. Quite not sure about his guess, he squinted his eyes and forwarded a bit closer. Although the small step was unknown to him, making him fall flat on the ground. Sehun rubbed his now hurt forehead as the stood up, cursing under his breath due to his clumsiness. He blinked as he realized that he created a sound which may catch the attention of the boy. He removed his hand from his forehead as his eyes slightly widen when the man searched for the source of the sound.

Sehun had this feeling of running away. His mind says yes but his heart whispers that he should stay. He averted his gaze to the ground before returning it back to the unknown man. He saw the side view of him and Sehun tilted his head in confusion as he studied the man's face for a second. As he thought that the guy was about to turn around, Sehun ran from his previous position. Sehun didn't even reach half of a kilometer before he stopped again. He irritatedly ran his hand to his face as he looked back at the track where he previously left. Sehun let out a childish groan before slowly walking back to his place.

Now it makes Sehun more nervous when he noticed that the other was searching for the unknown sound. Sehun hid behind the trees so he can't be caught. He didn't even know why he was hiding. Could it be Chanyeol Hyung? He asked himself. Sehun pouted as he blew his bangs away from his face. He mentally slapped himself for his cowardness. He had been alone for a long time, yes, but if it was Chanyeol, why was he so afraid to confront him? Sehun let out a deep sigh before looking back at the guy.

Right now, Sehun thinks that he should leave. Why would he even come here if he was just going to stalk a familiar guy? Well, at least he was not that kind of a person who stalks their crushes. Even if he was, why would it be a boy? Sehun was straight. He was one hundred percent sure. Maybe. Wait. Back to the conversation. Sehun was feels...weird. No, not that kind of weird when you're sick. Not that kind of weird when you're in love. It's the type of weird when you feel like you should leave. But then, something tells you that you shouldn't. It's like another split decision of the heart and mind.

Sehun stared a bit longer. Until he realized the the guy was also staring him. Now, he knew that his guess was right. It was his friend, Chanyeol. Sehun felt happiness inside him building up. He reunited with an another lost piece of his life. He returned back the hug that Chanyeol gave to him. "Chanyeol Hyung." He said after he heard Chanyeol state his name.

Eyebrows furrowing in confusion, Chanyeol's emerald gaze scanned his surroundings for any sign of the source of the sound. He knew he had heard something, but he couldn't see anything at all. His senses had always been sharp, his hearing being one of the best, therefore he couldn't be going insane or something. No, Chanyeol may be just barely bordering the brink of insanity, but he wasn't quite there yet. He knew for sure that the sound hadn't been a figment of his imagination. Though after a minute or so of standing there, looking around, he shrugged it off, thinking it had maybe been a small animal that had made the sound. He turned back around, facing the lovely lake, and just took in the view. The wizard made a mental note to bring a camera the next time and take a picture to hang up in his home, so that even when he wasn't there, he would still be able to see the clear water.

If only Chanyeol could bottle this feeling up in a bottle, and just bring it out every time he was feeling bored. Even though he could easily make a potion to bring the feeling of nostalgia by drinking it, it wouldn't be quite the same as actually being here. Actually feeling the light breeze, smelling the fresh water, hearing the frogs croak. No, this was something that magic just couldn't mimic this time; which was saying a lot coming from him since Chanyeol could usually recreate anything with magic. But this moment right here proved to him that some things just couldn't be recreated via magic. This was one of those things.

The male looked around, about to sit down near the water, but all thoughts of that disappeared as soon as he heard someone or something take in a sharp, deep breath. So, he hadn't been merely hearing something. Nor was it just a small animal scurrying around. Someone was here, though Chanyeol wasn't all too afraid. Quite frankly, no one posed themselves as a threat to him, because he was - in a way - invincible. Though, he didn't like the thought of his momentary peace being invaded in by some unknown person. This was his time to really relax, but it had just been cut short by some stranger who had, unfortunately, decided to visit the lake today.

With an inaudible sigh, the wizard turned around, only to be hit with a state of shock as soon as his emerald eyes landed on the person who had 'intruded' on his private time at the lake. He instantly took back the thought about him not being insane. Maybe, just maybe, he had already stepped over the brink of insanity, and was now swimming in it, and hadn't noticed until now. That had to be the explanation for this. Because after all these years, after everything he had ever seen in his life, this was the hardest to believe. This was the one thing that he doubted a bit. This just couldn't be true. He blinked a few times, and even rubbed his eyes.

Was that really the Oh Sehun he had just been thinking of?

After a couple minutes of shock and disbelief, Chanyeol snapped out of it, and slowly realized that it was his old friend. His only friend was standing no more than 10 yards away from him. A smile began to tug at his lips. Who was he to refuse this fateful meeting? Immediately, he began to stride up to the other, his long legs covering the distance between them fairly quick. Stopping directly in front of him, the wizard's smile grew a bit as he said, "Oh Sehun." before pulling the male into a hug.

@Chanyeol Sehun passed the tall trees, crunchy sound of dried leaves and the sound of birds in the forest. All he wanted to do was visit the lake. It was kind of a nostalgic feeling that pushed him in visiting the place where he met another friend that he could trust. Despite his obstacles in life, there was still hope for him to find people who could treat him like a normal person. Not like trash that could be abandoned in the streets of a big kingdom.

Although it was a very long walk, Sehun kept pushing himself to reach the lake. It drained his energy. He's too weak to even take another step. Sehun panted as he stopped at the nearest tree which is obviously beside him. He sat on the ground as his back rested on the trunk of the tree. He closed his eyes as memories began to flood his mind. He remembered how he and his friend liked to go to the lake, tell each other stories which happens in their everyday lives. He obviously enjoyed them all.

Sehun remembered every memory. Every bit of it. He just get opportunities to feel how to live like a normal person so why don't he cherish it? After that moment, he'll be back in being an unknown creature who gets picked almost everyday, every minute, every second. Sehun shook off the bad memories and remembered the good memories. Though, every good memory he had always led to bad endings. He always thought that, why do all good things must come to an end? Every good things can't possibly be easily forgotten. Everything has a history and its history was always the reason why when it's comes to letting go, it always hurts.

After a few minutes, Sehun let out a deep sigh as he stood up, dusting off the dirt on his clothes. He continued to walk towards his destination. He's on his way to visit the place where his memories stayed for years. He still remembered how the boy looked like. What his name was and who he really is. The friend who went to face the obstacles together with him. That friend was Chanyeol. Park Chanyeol. He was the tall wizard that had this smile that never left his face. He was a caring person and doesn't like seeing his friends hurt.

Upon reaching the area, Sehun catched his breath as his hand was on his chest and his other hand was on the tree for support. Once his breathing became stable, he glanced around the place. His gaze stopped at the tall boy who had dark brown hair. His appearance was all too familiar to him. It was like....Chanyeol?

@Sehun Memories.

Beautiful, bittersweet memories. It was memories that led him here to this place, nothing but them. Memories that gave him nostalgic type feeling. A feeling that Chanyeol had yet to decide whether good or bad. He was alone, so he didn't feel as if he had to hide the bit of vulnerability that the nostalgia was giving him. Besides, he treasure these memories, these being the only that weren't of him with his family, or alone. These being of when he actually had a friend. His first, last, and only friend. Only through these memories could he relive the exhilarating, euphoric feeling of actually having a friend. And though he wasn't planning on getting another any time soon, if ever, he was sure to revisit these memories, and this place every now and then just to remind him of the fact that at one point, he had one. That his childhood wasn't as odd as most people thought, he was normal in that aspect.

In this very place years ago, he had encountered his first friend. The wizard had done something never thought possible for him, he had healed someone without any thoughts of being paid in return. He could still remember it very well, how he had ventured out to the lake, in hopes of just collecting some of the fresh water for a potion he had been working on. Never had he expected for his life to be changed, even if for a bit. What had started out as a trip for freshwater, soon turned into him making daily trips to this place just to see this person once more. Every night, he would sneak out of his home at night to come out here, in hopes of seeing his friend, and every time indeed, he would be there. Though as time went on, the visits became fewer in number, until they finally had their last visit, and with unspoken goodbyes, went on their way through life.

Chanyeol could still very well remember his name; how could he ever forget? Oh Sehun of the sky kingdom. His emerald eyes lit up as he thought of the boy. He wondered how these many years had treated him. The last time the wizard had seen him, he had been a mere teenager, by now, he had to have grown quite a bit. The years hadn't done much to the lake thankfully, it being exactly the same, much to Chanyeol's relief. This was his first time coming back since that final visit, and he couldn't help but feel the need to return again. The lake brought a very peaceful feeling to him, one that was priceless in these times. Though that peaceful feeling seemed to disappear as he could hear the crunching of leaves behind him, immediately causing his senses to perk up. He raised his eyebrows in surprise and he slowly turned around, tilting his head as he looked for the source.

@King Yesung Kyungsoo was grateful the other didn't insist that he should follow him. He wondered if he ever would go to the palace by himself.
"Thank you.. I would be very happy if he did.." He said honestly. He hadn't had a chance to talk to the beautiful creature and he just wanted to know more. He waved the king goodbye and dove back in to the water, he had quite a long way home. He was sure he would be sore tomorrow but if he got to see the beautiful creature then it would all be worth it in the end.

@Kyungsoo "As you wish but my offer still remains. If you ever need something from me, come to the palace and tell the guards that the merman that saved the angel needs to see the king, okay? I have to go now. But I'll make sure to tell Luhan to meet you here tomorrow, what do you say about that?" Yesung spoke calmly, softly, kindly even. After all, the merman saved his precious angel. He couldn't contain how glad he was that the other was here, otherwise he wouldn't knew what would happen.

@Luhan Kyungsoo took a shaky breath, even though he had calmed down quite a bit he was still shaken up from what had happened and he was a bit on edge. He then blinked.. he had barely done anything besides keeping the beautiful creature afloat, he really hadn't done anything worth thanking.
"It's okay, I don't need anything." He said in a polite tone, bowing his head slightly. He then blinked.. coming back to the castle? The thought was really intriguing but he didn't want to intrude. "I wouldn't want to intrude.. besides I.. don't really have much experience being on land." He spoke quietly.

@Kyungsoo Yesung closed his eyes, crossing his arms at his chest, thinking. Yes, that might have happened, he was warned. Because Luhan was a half angel, he could lose control of his powers at a certain age.
"So that time came..." he whispered still buried in his mind.
Yesung then looked at the merman and bowed a little. "Thanks you for taking care of him until I came. If I could do something for you in return, just name it. Also, do you want to come back with me at the castle?" he asked thinking about what he could do to express his gratitude.

@King Yesung Kyungsoo could only watch as the human.. or whatever the newcomer was saved the beautiful creature. He tried to hold back his sobs and he watched in wonder as the creature.. could a human even do that? as the creature fixed the wound that the boy had gotten. He felt helpless as he watched the newcomer pick up the beautiful creature and carried him away to a horse. He tried his best to stop crying, because at least now he knew that the beautiful being would be safe.. hopefully. He blinked a little, surprised that the other came back and looked back up with confused eyes.
"I'm fine." He said and tried his best to not sob, he stiffened as the other announced himself as a king.. if he was a king then.. could he be the same Yesung that his new friend had once talked about? He shook his head, they didn't seem to be very alike each other.. but he didn't really feel like thinking about it. He almost wanted to tell the king that he had already told him what happened but he didn't want to be rude so he just dropped his gaze. "I.. you see.. he was in the water and when he was about to touch the surface with his hand this huge white light came out and then he was bleeding." He said, surprised by how steady his voice was not that he wasn't crying anymore.

@Kyungsoo Yesung checked to see if his friend was still alive. When he heard Luhan's slow but steady breathing he made a hand movement and water enveloped the area where the boy was hurt. The water crystallized and cleaned and closed his wound. He took the angel in his arms and carried him to his horse, studying his wings to see if they were alright. His left wing was glowing, but aside from that anything seemed fine.
Yesung then turned to the other creature and entered the water once again.
"Are you okay? Calm down, please. I am King Yesung, can you tell me what happened?"

@King Yesung Kyungsoo felt helpless, tears streaming down his cheeks as he made sure the creature in his eyes stayed afloat. He was scared that he would never get to talk to the person in his arms, that he wouldn't ever find out what kind of creature he was and why he had wings. He was snapped out of his own misery at the sound on someone running in to the water and his head turned to the sound. He could see a human running towards him and it didn't take long before he was right next to them, grabbing the creature in the water.
"Please.. you have to help him.. H..he was just touching the w-water and there wwwas a bright light and then blood and please you have to save him." He pleaded to the human, not caring that he was possibly in danger because all he wanted was for the beautiful creature to be safe. He kept on sobbing, muttering pleas that asked for help, praying that everything would be fine.
