@park eunji Jongsuk smiled. "Perhaps." He shrugged lightly. Maybe, but in any case it had probably been a close game. He twirled his racket absentmindedly as he made to walk to the locker room to change. He felt sweaty, and he absently debated whether or not he wanted to take a quick shower. It was last period, so he had plenty of time.

@lee jongsuk She let the ball pass her when Jongsuk started talking again. Ah. She wasn't taking score at all. "Ah... Let's just say we had a good match, yeah?" Well, if they were keeping track, Jongsuk probably won, and she was sure he knew that much. "Okay, we both know you may have perhaps won." She smiled sweetly with her arms crossed. That was enough to congratulate him on the win.

@park eunji Jongsuk frowned slightly. "You'd be surprised," he muttered to himself. He returned Eunji's shot before standing straight and glancing at his watch. "Class is about to end." He looked up. "I suppose we should wrap up. Were you keeping score?" He tilted his head, slightly curious.
park eunji 10 years ago
@lee jongsuk Pfft. Now his face was the money maker? "I didn't know you worked in a company like that, honey." She laughed again, affectionately calling his by the nickname before serving another ball. One that wouldn't hit that precious little face of his. She didn't want to go bankrupt if she injured it, right? Oh, how the jokes came out around Jongsuk. Too bad class was almost over. Their games would have to come to an end soon.

@park eunji Jongsuk ducked quickly, the ball whizzing over his head. He stood and directed his racket at Eunji. "No. Stop. Careful. My face is worth a million dollars sweetheart." He broke out in another smile, just from the ridiculousness of what he had just said. He was slightly surprised at how laid-back he could be around Eunji. He enjoyed it. It felt nice to relax, even if only for awhile.
park eunji 10 years ago
@lee jongsuk Eunji just laughed at that bright smile he showed off. They may have been rivals, but that doesn't mean she hated Jongsuk. It was more like just in times of competition when he was her worst enemy. She stood up, stretching her arms out. "Geez, someone is in a hurry." She laughed once more before serving the ball straight at his face. Gotta get that rival energy back up, right?

@park eunji Jongsuk shrugged. "I call you sweetheart because it annoys you. Besides, pet names are a habit for me." He gave her a cheeky grin. "Call me what you'd like." He twirled around and returned to his spot at his base line. He gestured with his racket. "Serve," he said rather shortly. Pet names were a habit for him, when he thought about it. A way to distance himself from his 'lovers.' He wouldn't ever call them by name, just pet names that they at least seemed to enjoy. He almost grimaced. Didn't want to think about that right now.

@lee jongsuk "I'm fine. Just taking a break." She mentioned quietly, tugging on hair carelessly. The blonde wasn't some tennis star at all. She was giving it just about her all. And it made her frown since she knew Jongsuk wasn't doing the same; he was just better in this situation. "Why do you always call me sweetheart? Should I be calling you honey?" She laughed a bit, looking up at the other before standing up and stretching her arms out. She was like a little robot that needed to recharge for a moment.

@park eunji Jongsuk tilted his head slightly when Eunji crouched down. He trotted slowly towards the net. "You alright? Not already admitting defeat, are we? Because that would hardly be any fun." He walked the length of the net and leaned against the pole. He sighed quietly. "Take the time you need, sweetheart." He definitely didn't want her to collapse or anything, because that would definitely be too much effort to deal with. He ran his fingers through his hair absentmindedly. Contrary to what he had told Eunji earlier, he had been taking it pretty easy. But mostly because he didn't think he could go as hard as he particularly wanted to. His body still ached a little.
park eunji 10 years ago
@lee jongsuk Eunji may have been shooting fire out her ears at this point, but she really was having fun here. Unfortunately, the girl was putting much more effort into this match with her hits than Jongsuk was. She let the ball pass her, crouching down. She needed a breath or two... She raised a hand to her head, pulling her hair slightly in defeat. She always tugged on her short locks when she lost or was unsure of what to do. But for now, she just wanted to take a breather.
lee jongsuk 10 years ago
@park eunji Jongsuk laughed out loud as he heard Eunji's muttered comment. "I can call you whatever I'd like. Pet names and all." He returned Eunji's shots easily. He was enjoying this match. He could be more relaxed around Eunji, for whatever reason. There was something about her, and even though he should probably hate here and really enjoyed making her angry, he needed her around. If only for moments like this.
park eunji 10 years ago
@lee jongsuk "I'm not your damn sweetheart." She muttered almost darkly with racket in tightly in hand. Dang... She needed to calm down, taking a few breaths before getting another ball and serving lightly this time. Control was key. Though that rarely showed when the blonde was around Jongsuk. Their rivalry was something she quite enjoyed, and she could admit that easily. If only she could marry someone like this who at least made her feel comfortable. With another huff, she returned Jongsuk's hits more casually, smashing the ball back to the other side.

@park eunji Jongsuk chuckled quietly as Eunji hit the ball over the fence. "You're getting reckless, sweetheart." She was getting ruled up now. An expression of frustration clearly showed on her face, and he shot her a cheeky grin just to rule her up further. Maybe annoying her too much was a bad idea, but old habits died hard after all. They were tied now, and he waited for her to serve again.
park eunji 10 years ago
@lee jongsuk Ugh, that stupid nickname! I drove Eunji to be so reckless with her returns of the ball. She couldn't even let out an expression of satisfaction once Jongsuk called the ball as out. It's not like she'd won anything just yet. She served the ball once again, putting all her force into it, unfortunately causing it to go over the fence once he returned the ball. Ah, not again... She ruffled her hair slightly from the lack of control she was showing. This guy just always got her so riled up.
lee jongsuk 10 years ago
@park eunji Jongsuk easily returned the serve. He jumped lightly back and forth from foot to foot, countering each of Eunji's hits with laid back confidence. He knew his nickname for her pissed her off, he could see it in his face. Which is why he continued to use it. And besides, it had become a force of habit to use pet names when addressing others. They usually liked it, and Jongsuk was always expected to please. Jongsuk cursed quietly when he allowed himself to get distracted and he hit a ball outside of the lines of the court.
park eunji 10 years ago
@lee jongsuk Geez, what was this sweetheart nickname he'd given the blonde? She most certainly had never been sweet to this guy. "Not going easy on you either." She muttered to herself, throwing the ball high into the air before hitting it over with moderate strength. She didn't want to bring out her smashes yet, because she tended to love those most when it came to tennis. Eunji had no idea about Jongsuk and his secret organization, though she'd heard some things from her father who worked as a lawyer. There were many things that made Jongsuk's family look suspicious. She just couldn't put her finger on it without the right evidence though.

@park eunji Jongsuk inclined his head slightly. "I'll let you serve first, sweetheart." He grabbed a tennis ball throwing it lightly up in the air and then catching it again. He threw it towards her, smiling when she caught it easily. "I'm not going to go easy on you, just to warn you." He lived off this, this rivalry. It was his release from all the stress that came from being the heir to a criminal empire. Most everyone here was an heir, save for the charity cases, but few could really understand the extra pressure that came from running both a legitimate corporation and the criminal organization that served as its underbelly. He sighed and twirled his racket in his hand absentmindedly.

@lee jongsuk "What could you need from me? Nothing exactly, but I wanted a target to aim at today." The blonde grinned, which was not an expression that came out often. There was usually just that emotionless face that was showing up around here. In all honesty, this was Eunji's release. The woman had been up to the tip of her head in stress produced by not only her father, but also her fiance lately. The guy was such a touchy one; something that Eunji hated. And he also seemed to be quite a boring little kid. Was she seriously supposed to marry that person? She could only scoff at that thought, her pupils shifting back to Jongsuk. "Well, are you going to serve or should I?" It was a simple question, but her voice was already so aggressive from her own thoughts of the past few days. "Let's get started." Her words seemed to always be coming out freely with her rival. It was almost impossible to see this girl as that quiet book reader she appeared as every other day.

@park eunji Jongsuk scoffed. "What could I need from you?" He swung his racket in his hands, bringing it up to inspect the edge. He smirked at her. "There's nothing that you have that I could possibly want, sweetheart." He was itching for a bit of competition today, and it looked like this would be it. He wasn't altogether in tip-top shape, he hadn't played in awhile. He didn't have as much time for games, now that he was getting older. He was graduating soon, and his parents wanted him in the family business as soon as possible. A muscle in his lower back twinged and he held back a wince. Last night's 'training' hadn't been awfully pleasant.
park eunji 10 years ago
@lee jongsuk Actually, Eunji wasn't all that dazzling when it came to tennis, so hopefully this wouldn't be utterly embarrassing. Though she was a rather force orientated person. Maybe that wouldn't just lead to tennis balls being sent over the fence in result. And they better be playing singles today, else Eunji would fail in an instant. Like she could ever trust her partner well enough to play the game. "Oh, did you need something?" Her tone came out haughtily. Well, it was just about impossible to not sound arrogant with that voice...

@park eunji Jongsuk walked into the gym with a sigh on his lips. He really wasn't in the mood for whatever physical activity they saw fit to torture him with today. What was it? Tennis? He wasn't bad at it. He would actually consider himself rather good, since there weren't many sports he could be considered bad at. Were there any? Nah. His eyes caught sight of a certain Miss Park Eunji and his mouth twisted into a smirk. His demeanor instantly changed and he twirled his racket with a cocky smirk playing upon his lips. He approached her, knowing that she saw him coming.
park eunji 10 years ago
@lee jongsuk It seems that sports was a big thing when it came to this school, and Eunji hated that. She obviously wasn't a team player when she didn't even like eating lunch with others. The student wasn't a nerd or anything, just not one to interact with others without reason. Today was tennis, and that made Eunji smirk slightly. Where was he? Mr. Lee Jongsuk; someone who could actually make the girl play games seriously. It was obvious she was looking for the only guy who could rile her up from just a sentence.
