@wonwoo j. 〈 jīn |SH| Ilhoon looked up at the other's words and then looked down again. How could he answer? Was it even possible for him to really answer? He'd just become a photographer, not that it mattered. This wasn't actually about the pictures but a question of his level of common courtesy. It was a question of whether or not he understood what it meant to respect another person's space and what bordered that line. "I wasn't trying to be creepy. I-I promise. I would've b-been too nervous if I tried to ask anyway," he admitted. Ilhoon was the furthest thing from bold, let alone confident really. The only thing he'd ever had confidence in was his baking and, since he couldn't do that anymore, he was left without anything.

He couldn't make eye contact anymore. He could feel Sora trying to fight but Ilhoon wouldn't let him. It didn't seem like Sora was putting up too much of a fight and he was sure that it was because he hadn't been hurt or anything. Ilhoon was scared but not for his life. "Can...Can I make it up to you somehow," he pleaded, fingers locking into the sleeves that he'd pulled down to cover his hands as he shut his eyes tightly.

@ilhoon j. 〈 sora k. Wonwoo eyed the blonde with a suspicious gaze. Why taking photos of me? I'm not over thinking, am I? But my intuition was never wrong. Those kinds of WH questions popped up in his mind and unconsciously wonwoo had started glaring down at the boy, a frown growing deeper as seconds ticked by and impatience rose. "Do you need something from me? Didn't your parents tell you it's rude to take pictures without permission? Are you trying -- no you're stalking me." His words were venomous, fingers rapidly tapping onto the wooden book rack he was standing next to. Honestly, for some odd reason he felt very irritated. It wasn't like this was the first he was stalked but the fear of getting into trouble for some stranger was what bothering him.

"Look, your sorry can't make me feel at ease. shouldn't you've asked me like any normal people would? But you had to act creepy. I'd have allowed if you asked me directly. " A lie. He would never but now he was going to use that to get rid off the blonde. All the time hoping, the second personality wouldn't show up or better, the second persona disliked wonwoo's rude behavior and never let this innocent boy approach him again.

@wonwoo j.〈 jīn Ilhoon had stopped looking for the other for a while, satisfied with looking at the pictures that he took. It could have been that Ilhoon enjoyed just looking at him because he looked like an old crush that he had when he was younger. That also could have been why Sora was so determined not to let Ilhoon do anything that involved the other. Ilhoon could feel Sora's anger toward his actions and he knew he would get a lecture later about being more cautious and careful, one that he was honestly pretty used to getting. That crush that he’d had had been a nice person, not really to him most of the time but nice enough.

Ilhoon was lost in his thoughts when he heard someone's voice behind him, causing him to hit his head on the bookshelf. Tears stung a bit at the corners of his eyes but he relaxed soon after, glancing up to see who it was. He tried to back away, unable to do so with the shelf behind him. "I...I'm sorry," he whimpered out quickly, feeling like he was in trouble even if he wasn't. He curled in on himself, looking down at his camera in his lap while he waited for the other to yell at him or even hit him really.

@ilhoon j. 〈 sora k. After a little of searching he found the book he might like or so the cover seemed to be interesting. With a small smile on his lips, he made himself comfortable even not so subtly putting his legs up on the table since he was assured no one bothers coming to that part of the place. He was only at three lines of the first page that wonwoo felt something was wrong or whatever going on was something he would not appreciate with a honest heart. A few minutes later, he was raking his eyes all over the place cautiously while still pretending to read a book. And eventually he found the culprit behind it.

Wonwoo couldn't help but roll his eyes as he covered his face with the book, annoyance written all over his face. This creep won't leave me alone, will he? Wonwoo groaned inside, an exasperated sigh leaving his mouth. Honestly this was getting out of his hand. He was sure that he dressed up very badly, if worn out sweaters count as one. Bear with it for a few more minutes wonwoo, you can do it. And he planned to actually deal with it, that is, once his client would come and pick his stuff and transfer money to his account. Somehow he managed to hold on for thirty minutes. His client came and he handed the repaired drives and got his pay. Now what's left was to deal with the weird stranger.

wonwoo didn't had much things like that day on him and grabbed his almost empty bag, save ghetto few tools he needed for every day work and walked to where the obvious convict was hiding though he would say trying to hide since it failed and wonwoo caught him from behind. he would be a failure at his work if he couldn't find his enemies and their hideouts in a matter of seconds and here he had been aware for more than seconds.

"You --" Wonwoo began, soft but authorative, eyes gazing down at the boy crouched on the ground, beind a bookselves, craning neck to search for something or rather someone who is no other than wonwoo himself.

@wonwoo j.〈 jīn Ilhoon had been sitting there long enough to start to doze. He made a quiet noise as he was jolted awake from his sleep by the other's voice. His head shot up, camera choking him with the way it hung around his neck when he moved. He slid the strap from around his neck and used his fingers to rub at his sore throat, blinking a few times before looking around. He felt a little disoriented, trying to remember where he was. He spotted the male getting up and didn't have to try to keep still. He was still half-sleep after all.

A few moments passed and he got up, Sora sighing in frustration, 'Please, tell me we can leave now. You're not getting anything done by staying here staring at him.'

"I'm not trying to do anything. And it's not like I have anything better to do. This is more than enough," he sighed, the words honestly just sounding like he was thinking aloud for the most part.

Once Ilhoon was up and on his feet, he decided to take a few pictures of whatever it was that the man had made, making sure to keep his distance since he didn't want to do something to damage what had taken so long to build. He then found himself wandering around, taking pictures of various things in the study before spotting the male again. He wasn't sure why he'd thought the male left, especially just leaving his work behind. Quietly, he snapped a few pictures, making sure the flash was off so he didn't startle the other or bring too much attention to himself. After getting those photos, he went back to where he'd been sitting, resting his chin on the table as he went through the pictures he'd taken.

@ilhoon j. 〈 sora k. Once he was set, no one can distract him even if the world crumbles and thunder strikes, wonwoo would finish what he started. He was man of words and promises. Though this characteristic of his was admirable, it also has drawbacks. For example, one should run if there's slight possibility of being stalked or looked at from weird shady places. Which wonwoo perfectly ignored. Seconds turned minutes, minutes into hour and hour into hours. By the next time he lifted his head up, the shiny black giant hardware looking new and fresh in front him on which he poured his blood and sweat, neglecting the way his back hurt and feets going numb for sitting in a same position for hours, wonwoo couldn't be more than satisfied. Letting out a soft sigh of victory, he stretched his sore body on the chair, a yawn coming out soon and sleep covering his eyes. Shifting his chair closer, he inspected the piece of plastic and wires. All set perfectly and no screws loose. The thought of the weird stranger completely out of his mind so he let himself let loose and relaxed.

"hnnn... I've an hour left. wow! I'm a genius. well done wo--" He cut himself off. It was a habit to praise himself which he needed to work on. Sniffling another yawn, feeling tired and he should be for not eating breakfast in the morning, he pulled out his phone and called the his client. Sadly he had to wait for an hour. And he decided to make good use of it. Getting off of the chair, he made his way to the story section, preferably fantasy because he was a er for the vivid description of worlds different from the ty one he's living in and he might be a control freak, hungry of power and why he was attracted to things untamable.

@wonwoo j.〈 jīn Ilhoon could feel his heart race a bit when the other made eye contact with him again. This time, instead of almost dropping the camera, his fingers clutched at it a bit tighter. He whimpered a bit, trying to will himself to relax. The male was a stranger and, although he was always looking for the good in people, he wasn't a sap that fell for and followed everyone. Not full out anyway. He would have thoughts of following certain people around that he came across, just wondering about their lives and what they liked and disliked. This felt like one of those special cases.

He didn't keep staring at the other. He didn't need to since he could look at the photos that he took of him. There was something about the stranger's face while he was working, how much sharper his features seemed when he was focused. Ilhoon let out a small, happy squeal. It was a good thing that he was getting better at handling and understanding his camera. That meant that his pictures of the other were clear enough that it was almost like sitting right next to him.

'You're such an idiot sometimes...'

Ilhoon frowned at Sora's comment, only shaking his head when he heard the apology that followed almost immediately behind it. Sora, sometimes, had the unintentional tendency to use harsh words to try and snap Ilhoon back to reality. Most times it worked. There were also times when he'd make Ilhoon cry, like he pretty much had the day before.

"Can I just have this, please," he asked quietly, "I'll stop before I can do too much..."

He pleaded and he could feel the weight lift off his shoulders as Sora relented. Ilhoon would be good. He would do his best not to get too close. Not intentionally anyway. No matter how much he wanted to. As for now, he would relax and enjoy just watching the other from afar, taking pictures and doodling here and there. Whether he'd realized it or not, he hadn't planned on leaving until the other left first.

@ilhoon j. 〈 sora k. He had seen a lot in the twenty five years of existence from which a decade worth of memories he had no recollection of and he would bet on those forgotten memories that coming across a person dwelling more than one or many personalities is like the scary face switching scary sculptures shown in action movies-- wonwoo is a human and he loves watching for pleasure, and you have no clue when and which side shows up. And wonwoo by no means was a professional at handling those situations. His instincts warning him in big bold letters to stay away. Don't look. Don't look. Don't ing look, wonwoo. The irony, wonwoo ended up looking. Curiosity killed the cat. And in his case his fate was seized. Wonwoo swore it was his adventure seeking side that tempted him to make another eye contact. Straight to the innocent looking eyes. Though no heart string was tugged and breathe stilled, the stranger do reminded him of kicked puppies and he had to stop the spread of his lips into a thin smile even it was at his expense.

Don't.

The voice whispered in his head, snapping him out of muse about how humans are always amusing creatures and how much fun he used to have once in a while observing them, ridiculing themselves.

Well I could least offer a smile for the sake of appearance.

With that in mind, he gave the terrified stranger an indifferent smile, a short nod of acknowledgement before he started working on the task at hand. He need to finish the job by the promised time. After that wonwoo tuned out his surroundings, completely focusing on his work though once in a while he was tempted to check if the stranger was there or not since he didn't feel the burning stare but you would never know.

@wonwoo j.〈 jīn Ilhoon wasn't always fast to notice things. He'd always been one to take things slow and, considering he used to work in a bakery, he was used to having to take his time with things. This all led to him finally realizing that the other was looking at him. When they made eye contact, he quickly looked away, cheeks flushing a deep red. He dropped his head as best and quickly as he could, face hiding behind his camera a bit. No, it wasn't the most pleasant of looks and, even with how slow Ilhoon could be, he knew that the smile that had been given to him wasn't a warm one.

The blond felt bad. He wasn't trying to annoy the handsome stranger but he couldn't help himself. He wasn't trying to be noticed but it wasn't all that surprising that he'd gotten caught. He wasn't being discreet. He wasn't trying to hide and be calm about it. Honestly, from what he really felt, he felt like a fan that was getting the chance to see the celebrity they like up close, or a kid who had a schoolmate they really liked and just chanced continuing to run into each other. It wasn't a bad feeling but it made him extremely nervous to go over and say anything to him. The fact that he'd managed to say anything to him the last time he saw him was out of character enough. Quietly, he just kept his head down, peeking up here and there to see when the other wasn't paying him any mind He took those opportunities to snap a few pictures of him again, this time more conscious that he was doing so.

@ilhoon j. 〈 sora k. It took probably a few minutes for wonwoo to realize the hardened gaze being thrown at him though he felt it sooner but brushed it off as some curious by passer admiring his looks; wonwoo knows he's attractive and his work before coming to the island certainly required the looks. And it always pleases him knowing he still has those kind of effects on human mind or else he should be ashamed of himself for being one of the best in his field.

It would be over soon. Nope. It didn't. Instead wonwoo felt being stripped and as much as he was used to getting and all, he wasnt a man on mission right now and would like to be less attractive. Scrunching his nose in annoyance, a heavy sigh leaving his lips, after being stared at for an hour or more, wonwoo pushed his chair away from the table, an unpleasant sound echoing as the wooden legs dragged against the ground. And finally wonwoo caught the culprit of his discomfort. A few tables away was the boy wonwoo desperately want nothing to do with yet here he was, his eyes meeting the stranger's and the sudden chill that settled deep inside his gut told wonwoo this meeting was anything but pleasure. Am I cursed? Why that unwanted promise of next time came true.

Wonwoo couldn't do anything but stare. He couldn't use his skills to knock that guy dead and God knows what kind of person hiding inside that innocent facade and worst wonwoo would be stabbed or fight with a broken leg. After a moment wonwoo gave a brittle smile, back to his work and wished that guy to loose interest in him eventually and leave him alone.

@wonwoo j.〈 jīn Ilhoon just kept to himself, clutching tighter at the book as he watched the other walk away. He could hear Sora repeatedly asking him just why it was that he was so fascinated with the other male but Ilhoon couldn't put into words just what it was. He just figured that maybe he was being a pest to the other anyway and was okay with not chasing after him. What he didn't expect was running into the same stranger in the study only a week later. Ilhoon was reading a book this time about his specific camera and about photography in general. He was trying to learn his camera and more techniques that maybe he could try for it, photography being something that he hadn't gotten to study too much when he was younger.

He raised his head and spotted the good-looking stranger. It didn't seem like he'd been noticed and he hoped it stayed that way. He was fine just watching the other from afar. Ilhoon wanted to ask questions but it was clear that the other male was busy again. He wasn't going to get in his way. Unconsciously, he began taking pictures of the other, hearing Sora scolding him but ignoring him. It wasn't something that Ilhoon did often. Ignore Sora that is. Almost all the time, Ilhoon would follow Sora's advice since he was aware that Sora was always looking out for him. The only thing was that Sora had a tendency to see the bad in people while Ilhoon did not; On the contrary, Ilhoon was always looking for the good in others. He wanted to know the stranger's story, at least the one that he had for on the island. He couldn't and wouldn't dare ask anyone about their life before coming. He hadn't even realized he was still taking pictures until Sora practically yelled at him, causing him to almost drop the camera. He managed to catch the device before it hit the table. "Sora," he muttered quietly, with a slight frown, catching his breath and gently placing the camera down.

@ilhoon j. 〈 sora k. Wonwoo, now known as Jīn, didn't feel an ounce of guilt at the apologetic expression marring on the stranger's face nor the way the other's voice lowers to that of a puppy kicked in the gut for doing nothing wrong. He honestly felt no remorse for being so harsh to someone who might needed professional help for the sickness they think they don't need the cure for. The boy in front of him seemed so young, innocent and shy; afraid of even hurting a single mosquito which hurts you if you don't end their life. But wonwoo was far from falling for that face. The saying, innocents are the dangerous one. He had suffered the consequences before and he was anything but find of those memories.

" yeah.. see you later then. " He sounded half hearted and he meant to. He wanted the other to get the message he had no intention of meeting him again. With a brittle smile, wonwoo walked away not turning around to catch the broken expression gracing the stranger's face, hoping be would never run to the boy again.

Well he was wrong.

Exactly a week later, on the same day, he was met with the man at the other side of study. And he couldn't even walk out with the same reason because he was half finished with his work and a client in front of him. And he might have not told the client he'd be here till evening, fixing the server.

@wonwoo j.〈 jīn Ilhoon jolted at the other's sudden jump, not realizing he'd scared the other. He frowned a bit and took a step back. His head tilted down a bit in a nod, fluffy platinum locks lightly swaying a bit at the motion, especially when he raised his head again to look at the other. He couldn't understand what the other so startled but it didn't faze him much. It did bother Sora though.

'I knew he wasn't any good. Why are you so insistent on talking to him?'

Ilhoon could clearly hear Sora's voice and tried to ignore it. He gave the other even more space, clutching at the book he was holding in his hand, holding it tightly to his chest. It was a mixture of nerves and uneasiness as the other seemed clearly to be in a rush to keep on moving. He was tempted to try and hold the other back but that wasn't something he had any courage doing. Sora, on the other hand, had he even been interested in the stranger, would have reached out to him but Ilhoon couldn't do it. He didn't even make an attempt to do so. "I-I'm sorry for disturbing you then," he quickly apologized although he really hadn't done anything wrong.

Helplessness still hunts him everyday leasing him to question what sins he did commit to always finding himself in unfavorable situations. Taking a deep breathe in without giving away the worries crawling at his heart on his face, wonwoo flashed a look of shock, pretending to be surprised being spoken to out of no where, head tilting up a little to catch the other's eyes. "Ah!!" He mumbled softly, pausing when there's likely three foots distance between them. Reaching up for the glasses perched on his nose bridge, he adjusted them a little though that wasn't needed but to get the geek-ish vibes he had to.

"Sorry.. were you.. Uhmn talking to me?" It was soft. And Wonwoo was internally screaming his mind's out. ! Can't I lead a normal peaceful life without getting caught in a catastrophic situation! His fingers cold and sweaty. He swiftly brought them to stuff them inside his hoodie's pocket, sighing softly to himself before turning his attention back to the man at front. "I'm sorry but.. I'm busy today. May be next--" And wonwoo almost bit his tongue, exasperated. Silly. Why promise? It seemed without for worry to be catitous now that he isn't in any kind of danger except getting exposed, he had turned into a mindless creature. Tactless at best. "so see you later?"

@wonwoo j.〈 jīn Ilhoon felt eyes on him and quieted down. When he raised his head, he noticed someone seemingly hurrying to get his things together. His expression was somewhat blank as he watched him, the young male’s interest clearly piqued, especially upon seeing all the little trinkets and such that he was working with. Ilhoon was tempted to call out and ask but it wasn't just Sora holding him back but nerves as well. The blond had noticed the other already but was only really getting a chance to pay him some attention because he'd blocked out the conversation he'd been having about him with Sora.

"He seems so cool," Ilhoon thought aloud dreamily, brows furrowing as he looked down. Sora was quiet for now. Thankfully. Maybe he could work up enough nerve to say something but was finding it hard to find anything to actually say. He was up on his feet with his water and bottle in hand, taking a small breath as he prepared to walk over, onky to have Sora paying attention again and causing him to trip over his own feet, knees now sore and wrists as well from having managed to catch himself. "I just want to kmow what he was making earlier," he got up, dusting himself off and picking up his things. He could hear Sora practically growling at him but he just clutched at his water bottle and book. He parted his lips to speak, just hoping and wondering if the other would even stop to talk to him. "What were you making earlier," he asked, speaking up but barely loud enough to be heard.

Thankfully, it didn't take very long for Luhan to find a table that was most empty, save for some stranger who seemed quite engrossed in his own book. He quickly got to business as he flipped through the pages of the multiple cook books in front of him. He had several books laid out in front of his, with a journal on his lap to take notes in whenever he saw anything in particular that caught his eye.

Nothing. He had nothing to do, rather than fill his time reading about hypothetical and overly sappy romance novels while his own love life had been a fiction. But not that he was complaining, in fact, he was the type to get completely obsessed over something that he liked and that alone had frightened him into getting attached with someone.

Why was he encompassed in this island, in the middle of nowhere? Why does he need to lead a life under false name?

Cracking his knuckles, he bended over to grab another book running the pads of his fingers over the title of the book that read 'A perfect spy' by John Le Carrié. Needless to say, as he turned, his otherwise practiced serene expression became quite grim.

'Are you okay now?'

"Am I okay? When do you think I'm okay? You're starting to become like everyone else, finding some reason to pick on me."

Sora was quiet and so was Ilhoon, the latter feeling immediate remorse for the statement he made, especially having heard his voice, his words, echo off the walls of his little corner. He looked down at his lap, prepared to part his lips to apologize but he couldn't do it. It was the truth. It was a terrifying thought to even think, let alone feel, like Sora was becoming like everyone else. If Sora left him, what would that mean? Who would he have left? He still had yet to understand how he really ended up on the island, only knowing that Sora knew and more than likely had something to do with it. Sora wouldn't say anything to him though besides that it was for his own protection.

'Take it back, Ilhoon.'

"I'm not taking it back," he whispered, frowning down at his lap, "If you're going to be like everyone else, why--?"

'I said take it back. I'm not giving you an option. You know that I take care of you, better than even you yourself take care of you. How dare you make a comment like that.'

"Oh..." Ilhoon muttered, shaking again.

It was the first time that he had pissed Sora off, at least that he could remember. He could tell from the tone and sudden silence that Sora was beyond unhappy. Ilhoon didn't like to be picked on though. Sora knew that.

"Sora, I'm sorry," he called out softly, feeling himself begin to cry as he called the other's name and received no answer.

More than anything else, Ilhoon didn't like to be alone. With Sora upset, fuming, that's all that he could be. Alone.

A few pages into the book and Ilhoon found himself closing the book without thinking. It was his doing and he was pretty sure he heard Sora sigh at him. It wasn't one of irritation but of sadness. Ilhoon ran his fingers through his blond locks and mentally questioned if he'd done something wrong, not realizing he'd actually asked the question aloud. It was quiet though. No response at first. He figured he'd made Sora upset with him and it made him terribly sad.

'Ilhoon, I'm not upset, okay? I'm not happy but I'm not upset. I can't get angry with you anyway. It'd have to be something extremely bad for me to really be upset with you.'

"But... Maybe I am scared of vampires. If I read about them, I'll imagine them. Maybe I would be scared if they were real."

That lead to a definite sound of irritation from Sora, one he knew he only ever heard when the other was pretty frustrated with him, namely for being scared of something he deemed insignificant. They were both quiet. Ilhoon felt like he was being watched, like Sora was just waiting for him to say or do something. Either way, they both knew that an apology was going to come first. Sure, Ilhoon would be sincere about it but it still wouldn't mean anything. It wouldn't change the fact that unnecessary stuff was still scary to Ilhoon, no matter what Sora tried.

'I'm realizing the only way to cure you is to watch movies of things like this.'

Ilhoon trembled at just the thought, his whole body visibly shaking. Now, from the descriptions in the first chapter he read, he was imaging the vampires and how they would probably look on screen. Sora knew what was going on. He'd gone and triggered Ilhoon's childlike side. He was definitely going to have to pay for it. He decided to quiet down though and let Ilhoon relax for a bit in silence, let him go to his happy place as he sipped his water.

'Are you scared of vampires, Ilhoon,' Sora asked.

He shook his head, answering aloud, "N-No, I guess not. They're not real..."

'What if they were? Would you be scared then?'

"Sora, I doubt I'd ever run into a vampire, even if they were real. I don't think I'd really have a reason to be scared."

'Then, why are you so scared to open the book?'

He wasn't sure himself. He'd found himself a comfy corner on the floor to hide away in, his water bottle stuffed between his thighs, legs folded. He couldn't answer. He didn't think he was scared. Leaning his head back, he rested against the wall. It almost felt like he could feel Sora's fingers running through his hair to try and comfort him.

'You're still quite the baby, aren't you? Do I have to do everything?'

He shook his head, laughing shyly as he raised his head, "I'm better. Don't you think? At least a little? No one can pick on me anymore."

Sora was quiet for a second which made Ilhoon uncomfortable. He just frowned before managing to put on a smile. He could feel that Sora was upset but he kept quiet and just went on reading the book, feeling as though it would make the both of them feel better.

Sora didn't really come off as much of a reader, at least to others, but he was actually quite the reader. He wasn't biased toward any particular poets or authors and just read whatever he felt like reading, whatever really caught his attention. Even when he was into the whole baking scene, he hadn't had any favorites, which made a lot of people question his talent and abilities and it sort of made him sad. On the other hand, it was very pleasing when he would get the chance to see their faces after they saw or tasted his work.

Taking on the identity of a photographer and writer wasn't too far off from things that he liked. They were more of actual Sora's things but he figured he could just use his voice to guide him as to what mattered. One of the things the two of them had in common was that they didn't focus on who was the best and who always stood out or was on top. It was simply about who and what made them feel good. He had some of the books in his hand that Sora had gotten him to buy but neither of them had read, but at the moment he brought one that had some story about some vampires. The actual Sora was into supernatural type stuff, mainly because it seemed fun. This book seemed like something that would intrigue them both for a bit though.

《 THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST.

But Inncognito is currently under decisive RE▪VAMP. Please wait to join until we've finalized the process and relocated accordingly to the newer roleplay. If you have anyone in mind that you'd like us to reserve, please just comment! Otherwise, see you soon.

Please look forward to our "sequel" roleplay. 》
