standing in front of the wall of books, his scales itched with annoyance and frustration as he questioned his ignorant choice of visiting such a place. he was doing his best not to frown, remembering just why he kept to himself at the bottom of the lake and he refused to walk out of such a majestic place with a picture book. azsh had never been bothered by his inability to read in the thousand of years he'd been alive but it seemed to be becoming a lot more necessary. asking for help was not in his vocabulary and he was determined to figure it out on his own but where to begin? a few language learning books caught his eyes and he moved along, fingertips brushing over the spines with furrowed brow; the only one he could even remotely understand the name of was in native siren language.. something only a siren could learn; it was basically engraved in his dna.
glancing around, he was attempting to at least find a similarity so he could get the right book, nose wrinkling up with an almost audible whine. azsh was thankful he didn't know many people in kore'lune in general, knowing he wouldn't be seen in such a vulnerable moment, fighting with himself.
