@❥ ⌜ arzeth. ⌟ His eyebrow raised slowly, not having expected an answer and he found himself pleasantly surprised. 'If you're desperate enough to seek conversation with death.. I feel bad for you,' he answered with a weak chuckle, 'but, I suppose you could have questions.' Thinking for a second, he debated on whether or not an introduction was actually wise considering he generally lost the people he spoke to, more often than not. 'Lilia,' he finally answered, glancing between the two spirits with slightly pursed lips, 'it's nice to meet you, as well.'

Shifting his weight, his tails curled a little and he leaned against his scythe. 'Should I ask what happened here?' He wasn't really supposed to pry into things when it came to his job as he was just a gatekeeper, of sorts. 'It doesn't .. seem like a very good situation, seeing as one looks like they kind of want to kill you.' Gesturing towards nothing, he knew the latter wouldn't be able to see anything and dropped his hand, lidded eyes just looking between the three people. 'You don't have to answer but you look like you could use the mental emptying.'

@❥ ⌜ lilia. ⌟ It was almost funny in a way. The fact that he had seen this reaper so many times already. It wasn't even like Arzeth wanted to see him. He saw death plenty of times already considering that not every one of his friends were immortal. Not everyone lived as long as dragons, so he saw plenty of death over the course of his life.

He never liked when he was the cause of it, no matter how /noble/ or /right/ it was. The death of another living creature was never fun.

He could never see the spirits, that wasn't his kind of magic, but he always felt something of a presence. He finally stood up and gave a sad smile to the kitsune. "Perhaps both, or neither. I'm not sure.. I'm Arzeth, by the way. At this point I might as well introduce myself, right? It's a... It's nice to meet you, properly." He wasn't always this unsure of what to say. He was usually the confident one, but alas, in the face of death, even though it wasn't his own, the dragon became almost small.

@❥ ⌜ arzeth. ⌟ Another day brought another seemingly endless walk around Haven, following where he was guided to collect the souls of those who passed. It was one of those days when some of the cases made his skin crawl, some of the people being in situations that could have been fixed had those around them cared enough but of course, there were also the ones who decided deserved it but he couldn't voice those things to the grieving. On one hand, he did think it was cute to see the spirit of animals peeking out to greet him, several being ones he'd welcomed into the afterlife.

As he continued, his tails swayed behind him along with the wind sweeping through the cold mountains of Ysanora - he was thankful that he could barely even feel the temperature anymore. Listening to the tap of his scythe as it sounded against the bridge, Lilia was none too surprised when he finally approached the souls waiting for him, one looking a lot less content than the other. One greeted him with weak ease, seeing as it was an inevitable situation while the other was too angry to acknowledge him but he would wait, it wasn't like he was on a schedule.

'I am starting to think.. you may have very bad luck or you're possibly desperate for my conversation,' he spoke softly, his tone holding no real malice as the words drawled out.

@❥ ⌜ lilia. ⌟ Arzeth wasn't old, just older than a lot of people, including many of his friends. He was friends with the grandchildren of some of his older friends who had long since passed. He had always felt a certain level of loyalty to them and their families. It was why he stayed in Y'sanora as much as he did. He could have gone exploring and travelling the districts, but he never left for more than a week at a time.

He hated leaving the district, even though he knew that there were plenty of other dragons who guarded Y'sanora. He preferred the colder climate anyway.

And so as he knelt down at the end of one of the many bridges which led into Y'sanora, Arzeth felt the now familiar presence of a certain kitsune. They had never spoken more than a couple of words to one another, and Arzeth didn't know what to say even now. He just stared down at the two unmoving bodies on the ground in front of him, one covered in ice and the other in blood.
