2nd weekiversary!
guys guys guys!?! it's been a whole two friggin weeks and??? wowza! ;; thanks to you all for opting to join and giving our ugly buns a chance! we hope to make things as fun and adventurous for you as we can, so bear with us alright? if you're "new" and have never been matched, buddying will continue within the next day or so (most likely today whoops). anyone who's been buddied previously, may elect to change partners by commenting in our buddy room! please be patient and remember, this is all for the sake of forming friendships and socializing... not necessarily romance. so don't get hooked on the idea of whether or not you're "attracted" to your buddy ;u;
snowlympics
with the conclusion of our santa claws fun, our second part of the tundra town winter event is now underway! the yearly snowlympics is in full swing, which means you better be ready to break a sweat! the theme? prey versus predators. the goal? score the most points for your team and come out on top! we'll be opening a slew of games that will each account for a certain number of points. by the end of the event, we'll tally up the points and announce the winners! victors will be both group-based and indivdual-based, so try your best! as usual, whether or not you win there will be consolation prizes! ;u; we hope to kick this off within the first week of the new year, but please be patient and root us on! more info will be released when the time comes (such as special dp activities and such). but for now, to keep things as even as possible, please don't forget to invite your friends so neither team overpowers the other!

congrats, babu!!! you've been chosen as our first featured member ;u; minho's stood out this week simply because of his dedication. when the rp first opened, you could find minho everywhere, indiscriminately talking to anyone he met. nowadays, he's more behind the rp scenes as he plots with others in rooms (shows in the 6373268 collectibles he already has). as an admin, it always warms my heart to see this sort of actvity. but i think what really made this kid stand out in my mind was that, during the santa claws event, he took his time to distribute gifts to his friends (dON'T think i didn't see you e u e). idk i just found that sweet so yeah, congratulate this boy when you see him!

please remember:
* basic app rules: this is a mammal-only au and that most likely won't change ;u; face claims are to be 18 and up (international, not asian age) due to mildly mature themes here. we consider every 18 year old face claim here as universally "legal", so we don't view drinking laws and such as per country. that's too much alsfjsaf just message us if you have a problem, otherwise keep it all ic and plotty. no need for public debates.
* stay friendly: i'm glad buddies are getting along and people are coupling up, but don't forget to be inclusive. nothing's worse than joining a place and feeling like everyone's already found someone. keep plotting. keep posting. and mostly, let's keep this place alive! we've kept this place very lax so far, but we hope to spice things up with future events so things can stay ic and progressive (a.k.a keep an eye on our police station room).
* stay ic: please be kind and considerate, but also please be ic. i know we all have characters from all walks of life and varying levels of sass, but as a roleplayer it's important to read the air. if your character is singlehandedly making the room uncomfortable or causing tension, it's probably time to a.) stop or b.) gently remind everyone that this doesn't reflect who you are as a person. some scenarios are a little deep considering the lighthearted nature of this au.
