hello, lovely people! hope you're having a good day / night wherever you are!

this is admin aschente speaking! first of all, i would just like to welcome and thank you all for joining spirals. i'm sure yall already know what you've gotten yourselves into, but just to reiterate: this roleplay has quite disturbing themes involved so make sure you let us and everyone else know if you're ever uncomfortable with something uwu. once again, thank you all for joining and giving us support for this horror au we all needed (jk)

some reminders: make sure to drop by the chapter room to write a starter, or reply to any of the ones that have been made! the goal of chapter i is character introduction, building relationships, and having interactions with others to flesh out both your character and those that you're roleplaying with, so just be mindful of all that when you write anything in the chapter room! yall are great writers honestly and we can't wait to see more from you uwu

okay now to get to the main point of this announcement: if you've visited the plot room, you'll see jennie's post about the cult and the secret society! (thank you for fleshing it all out tangerine usernim we lov u) if you haven't seen her post, i'll sum it up real quick for yall: the cult is a group within the town that worships the spiral and performs dark rituals to honor the spiral, while the secret society is kind of the anti cult that investigates the cult in hopes of stopping them, and maybe even the curse. i recommend checking out jennie's post for more info!

anyway so this announcement is kind of a tally on how many people would like to be part of the cult and the secret society! we'll need this list of people in the near future, so if you think your character could fit well in either organization then please do comment down below! if you'd like your character to remain neutral, that's fine, but comment their neutrality all the same so we know you've read this uwu

one more thing (sorry i feel like this is a lot): once again, if you've read the plot room, you'll have noticed wonwoo's post (shoutout to gestalt and their big brain) about some of the history of the jeons / jangseung and their relation to the town! this may be helpful in building your characters / creating a new character, so i suggest you check it out!
