celestial spirit 2020|announcements
Hello beautifuls, and happy 2020 to you all. May this year bring good fortune to you all and plenty of happy days because you deserve it! Celestial Spirit has now been open a whopping nine (9) months! That's incredible. Thank you all so much for being on this journey with us and helping to keep our home alive. This announcement will be a long one but I do ask that you stick it through so you are up to date on everything that will be coming up in 2020.
01} Changes to the rules: there has been a change the rule for inactivity. Inactivity is now set to seven (7) days, instead of eight (8) days.
02} While upvoting isn't a requirement upon joining Celestial, it would be really appreciated if people who haven't upvoted could give the roleplay a bit of extra support to help encourage other people who might want to join and make this place even more active. Again, optional but would be lovely.
03} To the people who have recently joined Celestial: Welcome to our little chaotic family! While you all hopefully were greeted upon joining, allow me to give another one to you here. Just some key rooms to be aware of, and a refresher to people who have been here a while and mayhap forgot:
x memories room - feel free to repost something someone has said in this room, we love a good memory and at times, we do add these to the roleplay title for a good laugh.
x confessions padlet - Celestial Spirit has a confessions padlet where you can post as anon a confession or thought you want to admit without giving away who you are. Click the sparkles in the confession room to be redirected to the padlet.
x social feed - like a twitter feed for people to post up a photo or "status" that admins can add to the website layout.
x stickers - upon joining, you will get a sticker layout pasted into your profile (if you don't have one, please notify an admin) and if you check out the stickers room under fun chattels, you can see what stickers you can earn through out your time here. Those marked with a diamond/star are exclusive stickers and usually related to an event that's happened, or an event still to come.
04} a new room has been added to the chat tab just for today and tomorrow which is a new years fireworks room! feel free to join in on posting firework related content and saying farewell to 2019 with the celestial family. everyone who is currently in the roleplay will receive a happy new year sticker and if you participate in the fireworks, you will recieve another one time sticker you can't get again.
05} a new tab for games has been added along with nine (9) new rooms all related to games from cards against humanity to truth and dare. Feel free to make use of these rooms when you see fit, tag people to join in and just have a good time. Please be aware that you do NOT have to wait for an admin to start things like Hunger Games or Skribbl.io! If you want to play these games, jump on in and get people joining you. Links to online games (like the HG simulator, Skribbl.io and BGO) have all been provided in the room information.
06} roleplay suggestions: if you have any suggestions or ideas or anything relating to improving the roleplay, big or small, please tag an admin in the request room or PM 9s. We are always looking for ways to better improve and make this place interactable and fun. We also welcome feedback, especially going into 2020.
07} chaos name event! The first mini event for 2020 is a short one, only lasting from 1st January to the 5th of January. If you haven't already noticed, every member of the roleplay has had their name changed! It is chaos and hopefully you get a laugh out of it, cause sometimes the names we've had over the last three months have confused, amused and delighted people so we wanted everyone to be a part of the chaos.
x names were decided on our own Shoma's auto correct because long time members know, that if you want something butchered, you go to Shoma!
08} upcoming event: the first major event for 2020 is a roleplay trip to Japan! If you were here for our trip to Disneyland, you know roughly what will happen. This even will last from the 10th of January through to the 24th of January. All non-event rooms will be hidden/closed for the two week duration of Japan and a bunch of new rooms/locations will be added that focus on the stay overseas.
x if you have suggestions on places to go in Japan, please notify 9s.
x while on this topic, because of the vending machine game that we have had a couple times in the past, and with Japan being well known for their vending machines of all kinds, for the Japan event there will be a new sticker sheet that can be added into profiles for people who use the vending machine so they can keep track of their prizes. if you are a person who wants this new sheet in their profile, PLEASE TELL US IN THE COMMENTS BELOW! Otherwise you will have an option to get this sheet yourself from a room at the time of the event.
