anywho, in approximately 2 hours, it'll hit 00:00 hongkong standard, marking the official start of our very first event: the felicity funland theme park! as promised, this announcement will be your welcoming guide for the opening of the event. many of you have already seen the rooms and have interacted with our mascots, and have a general idea of what our event is and how it works. in this announcement, we will be further discussing the mechanics of the event and how we are all expected to participate. we will also be providing some few updates with regards to the rp functions themselves.

we hope this event will be able to bring our loving family closer together and bring new memories that we can all cherish. without further ado, here is a further look into felicity funland theme park!

 

welcome to felicity funland theme park!


first: theme park rooms.

  • there are, in total, 12 different sights and attractions available for visiting, with the addition of 2 rooms for the snack stalls.
  • in order to enter and use these rooms, one must purchase a ticket from the ticket shop and pay within the bank central. these tickets will expire within a week; after a week passes, you'll have to buy another in order to use the rooms.
  • if we catch anyone using the rooms without paying for tickets, they will be banned from entering said room for the duration of the event. 
  • 8 rooms are available in the information section for purchasing, inquiring and chatting.
  • the main chat will be closed for the duration of the event, but the other rooms such as turtle chat, chambers and deep well will be opened. crazy room will be opened every other day.
  • the funland lounge will serve as the main chatroom for the two-week event. i did not mark the room as rated, so please do be mindful of the conversations that will be held. keep it wholesome!
  • for more information about the rooms, please do take time to read up their descriptions!

second: points as currency.

  • for this event, we will be using your current points as a form of currency to purchase the items available. 
  • you will have ways to earn points aside from chatting ans spamming through the money tree room.
  • after two weeks, your points will return to normal.
  • you can transfer and receive points from another person. these transactions should be done through the bank central, as well as every other transactions made by purchasing except for the snack stalls.

third: event profile.

  • as you may have seen, everyone has a layout on their profile (thanks to admin junhee, aisling is perpetually on mobile yet still managed to put the layout on all the profiles, the hard work is astonishing) that contains icon stashes for four things: badges, stickers, dps and gifts.
  • our event will be giving out plenty of stickers and badges (courtesy of our very own admin win, fairybread is incredibly talented and this event would not be possible without that talent). the badges will be given at the end of the event, but all the stickers (food, tickets, trinkets) will be pasted on your profile upon purchase.
  • the dp section will be where you'll put your icons that you've participated in the #dpmovement with (it's in trend gallery!) and the gifts section will be where the gifts you'll receive are put. dont worry, us admins will make sure someone gives you a gift. < 3

fourth: activities.

  • there will be plenty of activities in the rooms for everyone to enjoy.
  • every now and then, the mascots will be inviting people to play games in the cyberground (admin sunwoo shot the idea the idea that games make us closer! -lukas loves us so much, let's give him our love too). when invited, anyone available can join - free of charge!
  • on the second week, from monday to friday, we will be having team events and activities. an announcement will be launched about that too on sunday, keep posted!

fifth: mascots.

  • our very own little mascots, the pastel mosquito patches, are always present when you guys are in need of help! tag any of them at any given moment for any concerns.
  • there are five mascots in total: quokka mascot, fox mascot, bunny mascot, wolf mascot and sloth mascot. (originally there were only four, but admin sorn was kind enough to join our team in preparation for the event. tigbitties is family to all of us and their help is so very appreciated!)
  • there are specific mascot to each rooms. however, if you have a certain question about the event itself, please contact quokka mascot directly. to see if you've read, reply to your own comment down below which mascot to contact in this scenario!

sixth: new rules.

  • a few of my coadmins have brought up certain issues to me about our chatrooms.
  • i would like to emphasize on the point that this rp was made to be a safe space for the people who have joined. while some of the rooms are marked rated, please do be mindful of the conversations held within them and make sure no one is uncomfortable.
  • this serves as a reminded for everyone. if you see this, answer this question: what does rule number six in the rules say? pm wolf mascot with your full name and your answer.
  • we hope to provide a light and comfortable atmosphere for everyone within the rp. for any such concerns, please do not hesitate to contact any of the admins for us to help sort things out.
