is anyone else struggling with layouts??

so i'm trying to use and edit layouts but whenever i take it out of its source code mode, it ends up weird and funky and overall not how it originally should appear. i don't know if this is just me or if it's an overall occurrence with the rest of the site??

cause now i'm afraid to go into edit mode for any of my other chara's with fear that it'll rearrange the current profile layout set up

as a coder, i've been frustrated with this myself because every time i go to make a layout and then preview it on rpr it doesn't look right, so i have to tweak it and make sure it looks decent when saved. in the editor it'll be slightly off, but when saved it usually looks fine. just wish that i could code and it looks the same whether editing or viewing tbh, so i feel your struggle bb.

like not saying that i was just learning how to edit layouts on the old editors
but that is exactly what i'm saying and i am ready to fIT E BC STOP THIS I AM TOO DUMB FOR THIS CHANGE

Literally me. I went back to an rp i'm making to adjust the rooms and this new editor e d up the layout so bad. If you don't save, you're good. But any change you made really does reverse the layout's structure. It's fixable though!!! If you're used to refitting things from AFF, this is kinda similar q v q

A lot of things that used to come easily in source code are different too. Defaults have changed. It's a new editor, so it's a slightly new system to relearn.

It... also looks terrible on mobile. If you try to edit a layout while you're on your phone, the editing mode literally doesn't hold it together.
