Titanomachy—the 10 year war between the Titans and Olympians. A war fought long and hard for both sides, but only the Olympians remained victorious. And after securing their victory and banishing the titans away, what were they to do now?
Well, because they're exhausted and tired of all they went through, Pandora—a mortal created by Haphaestus—took it upon herself to lend the Olympians and other gods and creatures a well-earned break. Pandora, although a mere mortal, is the keeper of a special chest that allows her to protect their best and worst secrets, and also grants her the power to grant them access to a mortal (-ish) life. As such, the gods are in the mortal realm for one of two reasons: they made a deal with Pandora to rest and relax in the mortal realm by choice OR they were cursed by her and sent there as punishment for it. either way, in the process of this, something the gods cherish gets claimed and stored in her chest as a keepsake of the deal/curse. That's why the gods are in the mortal realm now.

note about the roleplay
This roleplay takes place in a fictional city by the name of "Oneiropolisi" and takes place in the early 1900s. For convenience, you can consider the year 1923. For questions and more information in general, please see our FAQ page.

Submit the following application if you wish to join the roleplay. Make sure you pay close attention to what we ask of you. We will ignore apps that do not follow what is below.

General Guidelines
DISCLAIMER ✦ Admins reserve the right to reject any application we see as problematic. That being said, absolutely no ooc drama though ic drama is welcome. We are an easy going rp filled with laid back people who wish to only vibe. If you cause trouble to the point where an admin has to step in they will take action how they see fit.
DATING & BONDING ✦ Because of the Greek Myth theme, some muses may be in a pre-established relationship (ie: Persephone being married to Hades). As such, there will not be a dating ban as of now. Despite that, please still give everyone a fair chance.
Also, do not bubble rp or chat, no clique bonding. Of course you may talk to your s/o but if that's the only person you talk to, then you will be given a warning. Make everyone feel welcomed.
MATURE CONTENT & IC DRAMA ✦ Please keep all rated images and posts in DMs and walls, and refrain from putting rated/ content in public spaces that aren't the rated chat or rated for these things. If you ever see something that makes you feel uncomfortable while in this RP, please notify the admins of what happened and make sure you use our safe phrase "ichor in my veins" when needed. Also know that I will allow in character drama and mature content that isn't ual (like violence, for example) and such. Just be sure you a) make sure to include trigger/content warnings for things when appropriate, b) have the consent of all involved parties, and c) keep it out of public spheres if you wouldn't feel comfortable writing it in a class or text to your parents.
IC & OOC ✦ Keep OOC and IC separate. If the conversation is OOC and will exceed more than 5 posts, use the OOC room. If it is IC, keep it IC. You will be expected to use brackets any time you post OOC in IC spaces. Please also be civil with other participants in the RP and do not speak ill of any roleplays or roleplayers. If you have an issue that directly affects your experience in the roleplay, please approach the admin team directly to voice your concerns. OOC drama is not tolerated under any circumstance. Please handle your issues among yourselves and involve the admins if needed. We ask that you also provide screenshots of the situation so we can better handle the issue.

NOTICE ✦ You will have 24 hours to set a DP before you are automatically removed. You will also be given 24 hours to respond to the welcome message or be automatically removed.
INACTIVITY ✦ Inactivity is set to 15 days. You will not receive notice before you are kicked as you are responsible for your own activity. Please request a hiatus or leave instead of going inactive.
HIATUSES ✦ Hiatuses are three weeks maximum and have a one month buffer period. You will not be expected to be active during this period, but we will still be checking in on you and will give you 24 hours after your return date to get active again. Those who repeatedly go on hiatus will be asked to leave. You may also not go on hiatus during your first week in the RP unless something is preventing you from being online.
WARNING ✦ If you get removed for inactivity, you will have to wait three days before you can come back. If you are removed a second time, you will have to wait a week. After three times, you will be banned from joining for a month. If you're ever removed for inactivity, your claims will be up for grabs again, so try to stay active if you want to keep them.

Face Claim & Muse Guidelines
FACE CLAIMS ✦ Face claims must be 21 and older internationally. When reserving them, please follow the comment format below. All reservations last for 24 hours. Do not join as a face claim involved in significant scandals/crimes, someone deceased, or a face claim that does not wish to be rped. All orientations, genders, pronouns, and races are accepted here.
CHARACTERS ✦ Three characters per account. You earn your 2nd by default and your 3rd by an upvote as stated above. To earn any more characters, you will need to have been in the rp for at least 3 weeks and get admin permission. You may get two characters from the same group if they have over 8 members.

How to Reserve
BEFORE RESERVING ✦ Please favorite and upvote the RP before you apply and please only apply from an account that is 5 months old or older. If your profile is private, unprivate it just so your join date can be verified. If you're on a new account, you will not be accepted unless you can provide an old account we can also verify. We reserve the right to decline your entry for the sake of keeping community comfort and peace.
RESERVATIONS ✦ In order to reserve a fc and role, you must comment in the following manner:
"[Creature/Deity Name]—known these days as [FACE CLAIM]—has chosen to sacrifice their treasured [item they cherish] to Pandora in order to live a mortal life."
OR, if your muse was brought to Oneiropolisi against their will:
"[Creature/Deity Name] is known these days as [Face Claim]. In exchange for a wrongdoing, Pandora has claimed their treasured [item they cherish] and brought them to this realm to live a full life of mortality as punishment."
RESERVATION VALIDITY ✦ Accepted reservations are valid for 24 hours after being notified. You will have this period of time to follow through with the acceptance instructions before your claims become up for grabs again.
REAPPLYING ✦ Those removed for inactivity will be allowed to apply again after a waiting period. After your first removal, you will have a three day waiting period before you can reapply. After the second removal, you will have to wait five days. Those removed three times will be barred from reapplying for a month.
