Of course, she was reward for this endeavour by colliding into someone, too caught in her little ploy that actually watching where she was going. Luckily, her messy roll of bread was saved, though some spilled on her chest. "Damn," She muttered, then looked up to see who the person was. "Oh, uhm, a handkerchief would be appreciated. I unfortunately left mine... Elsewhere."

He waltzes into the establishment with a book in hand and his eyes trained on it instead of where he needed to look, bumping into a wall absently then someone else standing before him. It is then that his eyes part from the pages, but only after a significant tear away from his literature, and he glances beyond his spectacles to cautiously size up the person he bumped into. Of all people, he happened to bump into someone with food. A bashful grin takes shape on his lips, his free hand coming up to rub at his nape. "My apologies," he says calmly, somewhat quietly so as not to cause a scene. "Can I offer you my handkerchief? Did any get on you?"
