As he swallowed, he could feel his body react nearly immediately to the cheap beer the younger had been guzzling earlier. He felt much less alert and quite lightheaded, but he could finally feel the loud pounding of an idle heart long forgotten.
That dead weight in his chest seemed to finally be useful once more, but it did nothing but spread the blood much quicker throughout his body. Unfortunately, just as a human does, a Pureblood such as Hongbin becomes full after drinking so much. With the amount of liquid still dripping from the small incisions on the younger’s neck, he had to make a decision between wrapping abnormally thin, cheap toilet paper around the bite marks, or using the younger’s shirt to stanch the bleeding. Despite having intoxicated blood in his system, the Pureblood had somewhat remembered what he’d do when he had a bleeding wound as a human.
“You’re supposed to wrap something around it, right?”
He asked more to himself as he his lips, leaning down to further examine the injury. He grabbed the human’s collar, bit into it, and tore the fabric directly down the center—leaving the human’s chest and stomach exposed.
“It’s better to be a little cold than dead, right?”
Hongbin mumbled, holding the torn fabric in his mouth. He could have always just applied pressure, but he felt that would be way too much work just to spare this man. Sitting the stranger upright on the toilet seat, the vampire hurriedly and sloppily wrapped the unexpectedly short piece of cloth around the human’s neck, tying it in a knot that would unknowingly restrict the mortal’s airway enough to cause difficulty breathing, but not enough to suffocate him. Perhaps using more of the younger's shirt would have been wiser, but the restricted amount of oxygen did reassure the Pureblood that the man wouldn't scream.
“How’s it feel?”

Hearing the human’s slurred speech, Hongbin found it difficult not to burst out laughing, and ultimately did end up cackling. Extremely loudly. However, his hysteric laughter didn’t last very long.
“I hope you don’t actually plan on vomiting…But, I guess I’ll have to make do if it happens.”
He muttered under his breath, a sigh following soon after. No matter how hungry he was, there were some things even he could not stand to eat. From what he could remember, vomit not only tasted and looked awful, it most definitely smelled awful. All five of his senses were a lot stronger than they had once been, and there was no question as to how susceptible a drunken human would be to nausea.
“Let’s get you to the bathroom before anything happens, then. Wouldn’t want to stain your clothing, would we?”
Hongbin gripped his other hand around the younger’s bicep, and lifted the man up by squeezing his shoulders between his two hands, which didn’t seem to be the usual way of picking a person up. He noticed that the human’s condition was a lot worse than he’d thought, but only after trying to put him down on his own two feet, and realizing the human couldn’t even manage something as simple as that.
“…”
He mumbled, looking around at the other patrons. Hongbin didn’t want to end up drawing attention to himself by actually carrying the man, but it seemed he had no choice, given the other’s inability to stand up on his own.
Without much attempt at being discreet, he lifted the mortal with an inhuman amount of ease, and placed him over his shoulder.
“Try not to blow chunks all over my back,” He pretended to joke, though it obviously wasn’t one. He’d been silently praying that this would all go smoothly once he got to that safe and secure...public restroom.
To his disappointment, the bathroom wasn’t as pleasant as he expected. He forgot the last time he’d actually been in a public restroom, it’d been at one of the very high-class gatherings he’d once used to attend. It certainly wasn’t the best place to dine, but once again, Hongbin wasn’t left with very many options.
With the drunken human thrown over his shoulder, the Pureblood listened carefully enough to hear that the bathroom was deserted at the moment. He pushed the door open, immediately being met with walls covered in decades’ worth of graffiti, dirty mirrors, and urinals covered with what he hoped to be rust. It seemed everywhere he stepped had been covered with randomly placed toilet paper that stuck to the bottom of his shoes, and he could have sworn he’d seen more than just a few puddles on the floor.
“How could such disgusting little things taste so good?”
He asked himself out loud as he walked into the stall farthest from the entrance, accidentally hitting the human’s head on the door. He stood still for a moment, staring down at the toilet.
“Horrifying…”
It was clogged with toilet paper and other things he wished not to name. But was he supposed to set the human down on the toilet seat? Was he supposed to lean the younger against the wall? He figured the human was too wasted to realize how unsanitary the bathroom was anyway, so there didn’t seem to be any reason not to choose the most comfortable option for himself.
Taking the human off of his shoulder, the Pureblood sat him down unevenly on the broken toilet seat. This had to be the least welcoming place he’d ever fed in, but at least it would taste better than a donor.
Hongbin leaned forward, yanking on the human’s collar to further expose his neck.
“What’s this…?”
He whispered more to himself than the drunken human, eyeing the skin that appeared to have already been bitten by another Pureblood fairly recently. He wondered if he knew whoever’s leftovers he was eating.
Leaning in closely, he trailed his tongue along the faded scar; coating the human flesh in saliva. Hongbin’s tongue had been described as frigid by many humans before. He used the species’ sensitivity to temperature to his own advantage to stun his prey, right before he decided to sink his needle-like fangs deep into their necks. With this human, it was no different, although he did give his neck a few more laps to ensure his victim wouldn’t make too much noise. After all, no more than a few yards away sit a crowd of a couple dozen or so humans drinking away. Hopefully they’d be unable to function soon enough.
Hongbin didn’t need to do much to draw a large amount—the male’s blood was so thin from the excess of alcohol in his body, piercing just a few millimeters deep in his skin was enough to sustain the Pureblood for a full night, maybe even two. But would that really stop him from drinking much more than he could handle? He was no wiser than the human in that regard.

@[H] Jimin It'd been awhile since he last witnessed the moonlight firsthand. Anyone that paid the least bit of attention towards him could tell he'd never went back outside after first entering the manor. It was a nostalgic feeling, though it brought up memories he'd rather forget. Dwelling on the past was something Hongbin spent every second of his day doing, despite not even enjoying his past. Wasn’t getting out of his room supposed to be enjoyable, or at least take his mind off things for a mere moment?
The village was in view, the scent of humans strong, and the thumping of their hearts loud. Were humans really living this close to the manor for years? He guessed he really knew nothing about the outside world.
He could remember when he was young, when he had no choice but to fend for himself out in the “wilderness”. Hongbin used to be such a good hunter, but after being catered to for decades at the manor, he had no need to go out and waste his energy chasing mortals just for a sip of intoxicated blood. Of course, this led to the Pureblood losing most—if not all—of the hunting skills he'd spent so much time mastering.
Now he was nervous.
He was supposed to be fearless. None of the humans around him seemed to cause much threat, or even notice him, for that matter. He used to be so sly, so quick on his feet. Hongbin wondered where the times had gone as he walked on the asphalt, the pristine yet aged black Oxfords clacking with each step. As the seasons changed, so did the humans’ attire. He vaguely remembered how it felt to feel the sensation of cold winds chilling him to the core. His tan trench coat, which he had stashed away deep in his closet, was finally put to good use. He had it when he himself was human, so he hoped it still fit in with the current fashion trends. If he went outside in this weather without a coat, he'd make himself stand out even more than just simply looking a bit old-fashioned.

As he approached the bar, he could smell the scent of intoxicated blood from behind the closed door. It'd been years since he'd drank from a regular human. Donors always expected it, but the adrenaline mixed with alcohol was the main point of craving such a specific type of blood. There seemed to be a lot of people inside the bar, more than he remembered there to be back when he was young.
He stepped inside, eager to finally do something risky once more.
He heard the slurred conversations, smelled the alcohol on their breath. Most of the people were surrounded by their friends, but Hongbin needed a victim he could easily take without gaining the attention of the whole bar in the process. Then, he saw one. It looked to be a very young human, but it could barely stand up. It was the perfect opportunity.
“Hello there, young man.”
He said, definitely sounding his true age. The human was alone, and obviously inebriated to the point of being unable to stand up. Humans still drank more than they could handle, it seemed.
“You look a little bit sick...Do you need help going to the bathroom?”
He asked, touching the human's shoulder. His hand tightened as he dug his fingers into the fabric of the younger's coat, making sure that he had a tight enough grip to prevent the boy from falling and or leaving. As each second passed, he felt even more anxious to drain his poor victim.
