Because you were no where to be seen. Yet in the nick of time you flounced past the doors with the type of energy I knew too well, but I remained silent until you were sat and poised towards me. Immediately my eyes widely opened, fingers anxiously tapping my quill to the desk as I gush out excitedly

I thankfully wasn't late due to Theo's special spell he cast, and as I spotted the familiar Everoak I was looking for, I ran over to our normal table and slid into my seat quickly, slopping placing my bag on the table as I tugged on your arm/

@✤ Ezra /as I cross my ankles while they dangle, my gaze veers down to scan over your empty one -- cluing me in on just how much you didn't care. Being the teacher I was I used my wand to tap under your chin with a rather sassy smile, making sure you were paying attention.
Eyes up here, Mr. Nott. And class -- watch for wand movements and repeat after me, "Discede a me!"
/and with that I twirl my wand around my head before a bunch of sparkles disperse and shield my body, hiding the fact that it appeared I had transported since my body was no longer there. While the other students were eyeing your desk I cleared my throat at mine, watching as their heads whipped towards the front of class
We're going to be apparating ourselves. But first, practice on the book in front of you. I want them on my desk in ten minutes, students.
@☀ Venice ⍴ My eyes followed your posture as you made your way through the class, slaloming between the desks and gesturing incomprehensible forms and shapes as you kept going on about how essential the spells we were ought to learn were. Despite the warning you have given on the very beginning of your speech, I couldn't really care less about everything that was going to happen in the next couple of minutes. Truthfully, the only reason I had for not giving up on my magical education was my father - I knew he had gone through enough hardships when he got married to my mother, a muggle, and I didn't want to augment any more unnecessary tittle-tattle about his idiotic, half-blood son. Once you sat down on my desk, I moved away slightly, eyeing the wand in your hand and hoping you wouldn't choose me nor any of my belongings for the sake of your presentation.
@✤ Ezra Alright class, y'all are intermediate now so I expect less shenanigans and tedious reports to fill out when you can't turn your companions back into their original forms. We're going to try it again today, only something a tad more dangerous, since you're not OWL students anymore. Thinking Vanishing Spell, but with higher stakes.
/as I traipse down the cleared halls of the room, I glance at my many students while belting out my words, wanting them to understand the severity of our lab today. I stop at your desk, the clacking of my heels coming to a stop as I lackadaisically plop down onto it to sit, only to whip out my wand in an impressive flourish.
