I’ve known a few people who felt that way towards their parents and expected me to do the same too.

Our siblings would get along quite well if they ever were to meet.

Yup! I’m completing my last year in music education and once I’m done, I’ll be able to work a full time job teaching music or maybe even open up my own music institute one day. What about you? What do you do?

@Jeon Heejin i see. i'm amazed at the way you look at the way your parents raised you. some people i know loathes their parents for 'burdening' (as they word it) them. /nods slowly as she relayed her own opinion, smling slightly as she remembered her sister/ she's quite the bratty type, the typical teenaged spoiled kid. /shrugs lightly at your words as she took another sip/ so.. are you still in college? you're 19, right?

Well, I have a younger brother and because I’m the oldest, I was always taught to project that sense of responsibility while he was given a little more guidance despite us being only two years apart. However, I’m thankful for it it now for various reasons. How’s your sister like?
*scrunching up my nose as I take another close look at your features, my eyes analyzing every single inch before shaking my head confidently*
Nope, to me, you don’t look quite old but if you say otherwise then I have no place to insist.

@Jeon Heejin you seem to know a lot about youngsters. though what’s more surprising is how you talk about them like you aren’t a young adult as well. /muses lightheartedly before trying her own cup of coffee as well, relishing in the sudden cool liquid circulating her body after all the heatwave outside/ i’m surprised you think of me as younger. as you can see, my looks really don’t play the part of being ‘young.’

Ahh... the younger ones. They take all the time in the world to mature just because they have someone older to handle the responsibilities.

Aww so close but you really don’t look 25– and I mean that in a good way. My first answer was going to be 23 and I’m kinda glad that I didn’t stick with it.

@Jeon Heejin /a sheepish chuckle flushes out her lips, feeling ashamed that she had somewhat aligned maturity with age/ well, not really. it’s just that my younger sister is still quite immature for her age. /nods slowly at your answer, finding you just ‘right’ for your age— pure and innocent with a hint of maturity, averting her eyes from your piercing gaze, she let out a soft chuckle/ that’s a bit inaacurate. i’m actually 25.

@Jeon Heejin well that is true.. /she mumbles whilst nodding along your musing, letting out a chuckle at the latter part due the sudden escalation of the topic from risk and reward to romeo and juliet/ oh it's no problem. if there's anything i can do to help, i'll do so. /shows you a small smile, watching as you go on your merry way to our table before being called by the clerk to announce that their orders are complete/ here's yours. /lays your order on the table, sitting opposite from you afterwards/ so.. how old are you? at first glance, i totally thought you were a high school sophomore until you started talking quite.. maturely? /ends it with a questionable tone since she lacked the right terms/

@Jeon Heejin /stays mum for a momentary second in deep contemplation of what you said/ i guess. do you know what risk and reward is for entrepreneurs? it's like that with her— there's too much risk and she's a greater reward than them all. if i played it right, i could be her without losing something but.. what if i don't? i can't lose what i'm risking. /her orbs flutter to look at you sorrowfully before it all vanished in the next moment, replaced with a mirthful expression/ i must have sounded like a nerd. sorry for boring you. anyway, i could only help you look for the job, it's up to you to pass their interview. bet you can do it anyhow. /nods at your order as she walked to the counter, relaying their orders: latte and iced americano/ sure you don't want to have dessert?
