@kim jinwoo. (/looks up and smiles nodding in response) yes it does especially when
people want to be convenient with paying and sure you can place them on the floor
of your car just make sure they are secure down there so they don't tip over also to
make sure to drive slowly too since the roads out there can be bumpy unlike the roads
in the city where they are smooth and such
kim jinwoo. 4 years ago
@kim seolhyun. okay, that makes sense. /nods once more, again
hoping i'll retain the information since i don't want to be even more rude
and take my phone out a second time. it's good - that you have a card
reader, i mean. must help when you get business from out of town, right?
/i ask, attempting at least a little bit of small talk; taking my card back i slip
it into my wallet before putting it in my pocket, watching quietly as you bag
my purchases. will they be alright if i put them on the floor of my car? i
don't want to put them on the seat in case they might fall off.
kim seolhyun. 4 years ago
@kim jinwoo. (/still ringing up your things then i nod to your question) yes
just put out in the morning when the sun comes up then rotate it
from time to time so each side gets enough sunlight (/smiles
then i look down at the card you're holding out to me and i take
it gently nodding as a thanks before beeping it against the machine in front of
me then giving it back to you then i start carefully packing your purchased items
into a paper bag making sure everything is in place and won't break when you carry it
home) there we go be careful carrying those home they're quite heavy
kim jinwoo. 4 years ago
@kim seolhyun. /my eyes follow where your fingers point among
the various buds and stems, nodding to myself before deciding to pull
out my phone. i'm gonna write this down real quick, if you don't mind.
/mumbles a little under my breath the instructions you've given me,
hoping i'll remember them enough by the time i get home. i guess i can
put that one on my porch then, so it'll only get sunlight in the morning?
/nods to myself before turning my phone off and putting it back into my
pocket, finally smiling a little more surely. uh... /now i pull my wallet out,
checking inside it. card, please. /holds the piece of plastic out to you.
kim seolhyun. 4 years ago
@kim jinwoo. (/gathers everything for you then i look up at you when you ask me
a question and i look over the plants i got you to double check) this
one over here on the right should be watered once a day then this one
on your left should be watered every other day and make sure you don't directly
put it near the sunlight or it can go dry so put it at angle so it's getting the sunlight but
not too much that it gets dry then you can use regular soil for it then it should be fine
(/smiles and starts ringing up all your stuff that you got and shows you the total) would
that be paid by cash or credit?
kim jinwoo. 4 years ago
@kim seolhyun. how often would i have to water them? the hanging
baskets i mean. i'm usually home, but sometimes i go away for a few weeks
at a time... /trails off, watching as you pull the flowers out and put them on the
counter; they're all so cute and pretty - delicate as well, and i hope inside that
i won't accidentally break them. uh...what kind of soil, is good soil? should i
buy some of that too? sorry, i really don't know anything about this sort of stuff.
kim seolhyun. 4 years ago
@kim jinwoo. (/still walking as you follow me around and i nod to your suggestions) yes hanging
baskets are perfect for porches you can pick which one you would like (/smiles
at you then i walk over to the flowers you named and carefully takes out of the
cooler area putting them on the small counter in front of me) so here are the daisies
and daffodils just put them anywhere outside then yes you can plant those flowers
on the ground but make sure to use good soil for that anything else you need sir? or
is that it?

(it's okay no worries bub ^^)
kim jinwoo. 4 years ago
@kim seolhyun. i'm not sure? i was just thinking in terms of color really, flowers
that are mostly white...maybe some yellow-ish too? and i'd like some, oh, what
do you call them...hanging baskets? for my porch. /smiles apologetically, following you
towards another flower display. i want to have them all outside, so would planting them
in the ground be better? i think i'd like... /points to a few daisies and some daffodils.
some of those, please?

[] kjdshfjsh i thought i responded to this ;;;; sorry

@kim jongin. A designated small spacious workshop is found at the back of the flower shop, in this room, customer delivery orders were prepared daily by the florist as she helps her grandmother run the shop whenever summer season came. As Lisa permanently moved to the small town for college, the workshop turned into a mini studio wherein she spent time reading a book, binge-ing a series or two, or to return to her first love as a child: dancing.

A retro-styled speaker projects the majestic classic piece of Tchaikovsky‘s The Nutcracker that blooms within the Romantic Period whilst the nineteen year old moves her body rhythmically to every beat with her little knowledge of ballet in graceful perfection; from first position to sixth position, from adagio to allegro. When she dances she can let her mind go blank and let her body take the reign.

Nonetheless, the girl never did get a proper training for dancing. Relentlessly, depending on the videos found in YouTube and the numerous collection of old DVDs and books found in the basement of their humble home to learn.

When she was a kid, her grandmother comments about the child’s uncanny choreographic memory, flexibility and agility while she imitates and studies the dance moves projected unto the screen of the television or when they go out to watch the child’s all-time favorite, The Nutcracker. It has long been such a sparkling, snow-dusted cornerstone of the season, that it is all too easy to take it for granted. Ballet can be heavy-duty for children, and yet, year in year out, and in innumerable productions across the world – the over 100-year-old work about Clara and her new prized possession weaves its magic on the now teenager still.

How immersed is she in her own little world, while her body sways with her feet and hands moving in harmony through the guidance of the instrumental masterpiece! That the new customer signal of the flower shop’s bell, and the conversation between her old grandmother and the handsome man was left unheard.

In the bright-lit workshop turnt studio, on the worn-out wooden floor, in her blister-filled pointe shoes, she dance her heart out. Even the simple basics of attitude, arabesque and balancé, rise up from the core and down with grace, are such a relief to her. It is like she is the only person in the world granted freedom with the gift given to her.

This belongs to her. Only hers.

Even his mere presence cannot disrupt the dance, she continues her art like an angel enough to steal a breathe away through her passion and beauty as the classical piece near its end.

Within the next second, it ends. Lisa momentarily opened her eyes to be brought back to her reality. It is the last one of the The Nutcracker playlist on her Spotify, and perhaps the next song would be just as much wonderful as the previous.

“Oh, may I help you, sir?” she asks, surprised with the stranger’s presence if it wasn’t for her grandma with an assuring smile as she accomodate another customer inside the flower shop.

Another song drops unexpectedly, and she might have found a partner to share the wonderful dance.

@lalisa manoban. Parking his bicycle in front of the flower shop, Jongin didn't even bother securing it in any way. The first reason for that was that he trusted most of the people in the village to not simply steal his belongings as it'd come to light in a maximum of a few hours. The other one was that, well, his bike wasn't exactly a state of the art model. Rust covered some of the metal, the paint was coming off it and the saddle was a literal pain in the . He didn't use it often enough to care about repairing it or getting a new one, as he'd usually do whatever he needed to get done driving there with his car. However, today was one of the very rare days when his father asked him to borrow it for a couple of hours as he needed to transport two or three of their sheep to the vet and he couldn't have just declined that plea. Whisking the dust that he's whirled up while riding the bike off his plain blue jeans before entering the florist.

"Good morning" he greeted the elderly woman behind the counter loudly, knowing she had some hearing issues. The female responded with a bright grin that made most of the wrinkles on her face show - the male always took it as a sign that the reason she had those was because she had smiled so much throughout her entire life. As he stepped closer, he couldn't help taking in the marvelous smell of all the plants gathered in such a tiny space - the smell of roses mixed with tulips, lilies of the valley, violets and many, many more that he didn't even know how they were called. Asking for the usual - namely a bouquet of rosa lilies - he leaned against the counter, laying one arm on top of it, while the other one supported his chin and observed the elderly lady work.

Just like every other time the male has come to the florist, the two would spend a few minutes talking about the newest gossip of the village - replying her usual chit-chat question and responding with the same inquires - however despite her genuine attempts, the conversation would eventually end on health-issues anyway. Yet living in a place with that many elderly people, Jongin has pretty much gotten used to the fact that most of them preferred to talk about their replacement joints, the new medicine they were prescribed and so on-- however today, the topic was slightly different. "I've heard you want to make a performance this year?" the female asked, one of her gray brows cocked as she was finishing the bouquet. Jongin smiled, chuckling rather sheepishly. "Yes, yes, that's true. I don't know how I want to do that yet but we'll see..."

"You know, my granddaughter is a good dancer."

At this sentence, Jongin raised his glance back to meet the wise, old, black eyes of hers, one of his brows cocked as if mimicking her previous expression. "Is she?" he asked out of courtesy or maybe even something more? He did indeed need someone to dance with. Truthfully speaking, it was a quite urgent need as he still had to figure out what kind of dance he wanted to present the village. The next issue would be getting to know his partner and their level of expertise and then trying to make them as fluent in the choreography he still had to come up with as possible. It has already been weeks that he had tried to find someone suitable for the whole thing so- why shouldn't he just give it a try? "Where could I see her dance?"

@na jaemin. (/blinks as you write down what you want to tell me and i get a bit uneasy when you mention
rich kids as i am from a wealthy family but not stuck up like most but i just act normal and nod
to your words) oh wow really? just for flowers i mean they could of just gotten smaller arrangement
since it's prom it doesn't have to be all fancy and stuff but if you need some help finding any type
of flowers let me know i'll be glad to help (/smiles at you again before going to setting up everything
before i officially open the store)

@kim seolhyun. snorts softly when you mention flower arrangements
'you wouldn't believe it. some wanted a lot of high quality flowers, that like cost a ton, JUST for prom. rich kids.'
scoffs slightly as i cross my arm, softening slightly when i remember that you smiled at me.
kim seolhyun. 4 years ago
@kim jinwoo. oh sure what kind would you like? if for decor you can use like perhaps
those bamboo plants or those small flower types are okay too (/smiles
and nods before walking to show you a display of flowers i was just organizing
to put out) so you get flowers only or little plants like the ones in the display
or just about anything small put around your house make sure they face the window
though so they can get direct sunlight that way
kim jinwoo. 4 years ago
@kim seolhyun. /nodding a little bit in response to you restating
my question i trail behind you, still unsure about what exactly i'm doing in
a flower shop of all places; getting lost in the colorful petals i remain a few
steps behind you, only coming back to my senses when you return with a
few seed packets. oh, thank you. /smiling warmly i take the packets from
you, looking them over. these seem good. are there also any flowers i could
plant, just for decoration? or would it be better for me to put them in pots?
kim seolhyun. 4 years ago
@na jaemin. (/still setting up until i see you come into the shop and i see you approach me
i straighten up looking at you with a friendly smile turning my eyes to your boogie board
that you always carry with you wherever you go) oh i'm going to put out some tulips, sunflowers,
violets and maybe some daisies too also a customer wants a flower arrangement of roses for her
mom
kim seolhyun. 4 years ago
@kim jinwoo. oh something small and won't make your rabbits sick
(/walking around the shop trying to figure something out for you
then i go towards the rack of seeds going through them one by one until i take out
a packet of parsley, carrot and basil seeds walking back to you with a smile) here you can
plant these outside and they are very safe for rabbits so if they eat them it won't hurt them
na jaemin. 4 years ago
@kim seolhyun. /as always, it was about time to ask you which plants you'd be featuring so i could choose other flowers, so i walked into your store, hair still a mess, some flowers in acrown around my head.
/waving at you, i pull out my boogie board, and begin writing
'which plants were you gonna use this time?'
kim seolhyun. 4 years ago
@na jaemin. (/is setting up stuff in the shop to start the day putting the plants where they should be
and putting the nicest flowers on the display so the customers can see them clearly
then i move outside to put up the display sign and i see you in the flower next door
contemplating if i should say anything since you're known not to really talk that much
but i muster up the courage and i wait to see if you will come out)
kim jinwoo. 4 years ago
@kim seolhyun. ah, um... /almost at a loss for words at the onslaught of questions i bring one hand up to rub the back of my neck, shrugging once while retaining my smile. i'm actually not sure? maybe something that's small, but easy to take care of. i'd like to put them outdoors...oh! and although i'm not using them for anything like food, something that won't make my rabbits sick if they accidentally eat them.
kim seolhyun. 4 years ago
@kim jinwoo. (/sees walk pass me and i just decide to sit back down until you need assistance watching you
as you look around the shop eyeing every flower and plant you see then i immediately get up
when you finally approach me i put on a friendly smile looking at you nodding in the process) sure
what kinds of plants are you looking for? small ones? big ones? and are you putting them outdoors
or indoors?
kim jinwoo. 4 years ago
@kim seolhyun. /accidentally walking past you i start to slowly move up and down the aisles, mesmerized by all the different colors and buds; a few of the pink ones catch my eyes especially, and i think of how pretty they would look on my porch; after looking around a little longer i pick my head up to try and find some help, my eyes eventually finding you; i walk over and bring my hands together in front of me, pinching the sleeve of my sweater and aiming for a small smile. excuse me? would you be able to help me pick out some, uh...plants, i guess?
kim seolhyun. 4 years ago
@kim jinwoo. (/is in my flower shop as usual sitting by the counter cutting the stems off the flowers to i can
arranging them later as i am working i hear the door open tapping again the bell above the door
and i look up seeing a young man come in looking around so i put down my scissors that i was cutting up
getting up ready to help you but i see you walk right by me to look at the plants i blink in slight confusion but
i just stand there waiting till you call on me for assistance)
kim jinwoo. 4 years ago
@kim seolhyun. /stepping through the front door of the flower shop i hear the bell chime above my head, signalling my arrival; instead of heading to the counter right away i decide to start looking around at all the plants; i honestly don't know what kinds of flowers or foods i want to grow yet, but i'm hoping someone will be able to help me; my knowledge lies in rabbits, not botany.
