midnight memories // romance, optional

Muse A and Muse B are university students from two different universities, from two different countries. As break comes around, they both end up in the same city for vacation by chance, either with a group of friends or on their own. The city is nown for parties inside clubs to spread on the street for anyone one to join in. Muse A was taking advantage of being able to be free from the struggles of school and their parents down their throat about school work for a couple of days. Muse B is drawn to Muse A the moment they land eyes on them, the way the lights hit them perfectly as they dance along with the music and they become determined to get even a moment with them. Eventually, Muse B makes it through the crowd to Muse A and with nothing to lose, Muse accepts the offer to dace with them. One thing leads to another and suddenly they're ditching their friends to spend the night on the streets together, doing whatever they wanted until sunrise and they had to make the choice of leaving each other on the terms of nothing more than a one night stand or keep things going some how.

last christmas // romance and angst

MUSE A has been living in and out of the hospital for the majority of their life due to a serious condition, mostly during the colder seasons due to their body unable to keep up with what's nessicary to keep him healthy during those months. because of this, he had never experienced a Christmas outside of the old Christmas decorations the hospital puts up and whatever health-conscious meal they serve that day that was supposed to mimic a holiday feast of some sort. Muse B is a first-time volunteer at the hospital this holiday season and they absolutely adore anything christmas. The nurses thinking that Muse B would be a great perk for Muse A, they are paired to do activities together and while conversating about the holidays, it slips that Muse A hasn't experienced it. Determined to make this a different year, Muse B gains permission to take Muse A out on little adventures as they liked to call it, the experience the joy of the holidays. within this time, they begin to unknowingly fall for each other and always look forward to their next outing. As Christmas eve rolls around, the city holds an annual festival and that's exactly how they plan to spen their day together. Unknowingly as night settles and the temperature drops and it begins to snow, pushing Muse A's body into overdrive to keep them warm, along with keeping them put together to withstand the crowds and such. Becoming weak, Muse A asks to go sit somewhere for a few minutes just to regain their strength and while walking to the nearby, closed-off park, Muse A collapses onto the ice-cold concrete, leaving Muse B in panic while trying to wake them up and cry for help, all while watching the color drain from their face and be replaced by the ice blue color of winter.
