"an evil chipmunk? is that supposed to be a compliment? you consider that cute? you have quite peculiar taste, jaehyun." she retorts with a snicker, shaking her head at how ridiculous it sounded. she thanks the server once more as they leave before she turns back to him. his jab at himself causes her to chortle, but she doesn't say anything to disagree because they both know he's right. chaeyoung pauses, pursing her lips as she thinks of a reply. "well, did you or did you not say you'd move out of the dorm if someone swiped right? i guess lisa and i saw an opportunity and we took it." she jokes as she plays along, remembering the times when he had a literal catfish as his dalliance picture. "alright, but jokes aside, i thought you weren't too bad. how about you? why'd you swipe on me?"

As soon as the text was sent, Sehun threw his phone onto his bed and attempted to gussy himself up just a little bit, but he had to find a balance of looking presentable but also not too refined that it would ruin the casual atmosphere the pair decided on. Ultimately, he decided on a simple outfit of a white tee paired with some distressed jeans that had, in full honesty, seen better days. Within a few minutes, he had gathered everything he needed and arrived at Chanyeol's home with a few minutes to spare. Pulling his phone out of his pocket, his fingertips glided over the illuminated screen.

@❛ ekyom m. "Boy you cappin'." She heaves a sigh as if to feign annoyance, but her jocund, outstretched grin gives way to her delight towards the latter's behavior. "Ridiculous." She places her glass down atop the white tablecloth, before folding her arms across her chest and leaning forward once again so that her elbows rested just at the edge of the table. "Oh we're diving in deep now," she takes in a deep breath and straightens up in her seat once more, this time with her hands folded on top of her lap. "I'm also dipping my toes into the dating scene again. I had a breakup a couple of months ago so this is kind of new for me. I'm not hoping for anything, though. Like I said, just seeing how it goes."

@❛ diamonté h. He reciprocated her laughter, shaking his head to glance down with an an amused simper, only to look up at her, fringe falling into his face. "I think I got a bit distracted and picked the first thing on the menu." He admitted, one hand resting on his thigh, the other cupping his wine glass. The returned question was expected, though he wasn't sure he had an adequate answer. A hushed sigh leaves him. "My answer is similar. I've had some rough luck with dates in the past through mutual friends, so I figured I might have more luck with the app, but I don't have too many expectations. Whatever happens, happens."

@❛ ekyom m. "Chicken," the girl couldn't help the laughter that comes after being hit with realization, only now registering what this man decided to order. She shakes her head, reveling in the irony of this instance, and rolls her eyes at him as her teeth sink into her lower lip, as if to stifle her ever-growing smile. "How are you going to take me to a seafood place but not order seafood? Ridiculous." Tucking her hair behind her ear, she leans forward, forearms resting on the table as she straightens up in her seat. "I'm not really looking for anything," she admits, picking up her glass of wine to take a sip just as he does. "In all honesty it was all just boredom. I was hoping to meet new people. How about you?"

@❛ diamonté h. He offers a bright smile, flirtatious energy floating between the two. "Good choice. I almost went for that, but I was craving some chicken, oddly enough. I thought about the seafood, but chicken was calling my name." He quips, leaning back in his seat with a raised eyebrow. "So, let me prod your brain a bit. What's a gorgeous girl like you doing on a dating app? Seems like you'd have no trouble getting a date in the first place." He comments, acknowledging the waitress as she returned with their wine, swirling the glass between his fingertips before taking a sip.
