the worst thing about prison was the dementors.

@✑ lalisa manoban "I can't believe this is my life," Dohee sighed, lowering herself to the ground as delicately as possible, as if that would make the germs see that she came in peace and signal them not to latch on as soon as she made contact. She continued grumbling to herself while trying to figure out whether to go legs first or head first and eventually settled on the latter.

So focused on getting out with as little contact with the ground as possible, she didn't hear the main door open until it was too late. She froze, eyes wide, one hand on the gross floor, and her upper body curling from under the stall like some sort of bathroom Sadako Yamamura.

"Lalisa-! Ah- hi!" she greeted lamely, a nervous laugh leaving her lips. Her eyes briefly flicked to the cameraman standing just outside, eyes meeting the lense for a moment before she turned her attention back to the woman between them. "Oh, you know..." she trailed off to get herself out fully, a soft grunt leaving with her next words, "Just...leaving aha..."

Standing to her full, but minute, height, she quickly shuffled over to the sink to wash her hands -- and up her arms. "What...what are /you/ doing?" she asked, trying to remain casual in the face of her embarrassment.

@✑ min dohee ‘Almost done, almost done,’ Lalisa’s mouse moved like lightning, flying across the cells, rows, and columns to wrap up this expense report. A fancy formula here, a few more functions there: it would do all the math for her and it could be sent off to corporate. When she does finish, she gives the sheet a once over, scrolling slowly as she scans the form for erroneous outputs or holes where data was missing. She holds her breath and braces for the worst... and exhales a soft ‘Perfect’ under her breath.

It was just in the nick of time too—well, the nick of lunch time! Rising from her seat, Lalisa decides that today’s lunch will not be a working lunch as it usually was. Instead, it would be a proper lunch break. Away from her desk. She makes her way to the bathroom to freshen up. “Away from work and emails,” she hums to herself, not paying anyone any mind lest she get a stray question-turned-full-blown-conversation. This was her one chance to get away.

She enters the bathroom, pushing the door open with her shoulder and almost shrieking as she comes face to face with—

“D-Dohee?! What are you doing?” She steps closer, concern and horror written across her features.

@✑ kim dongyoung The other’s words only have him rolling his eyes in his signature fashion, expression a bit deadpan, because really? If Doyoung wasn’t so good with his mouth or his hips, the receptionist would have surely moved on to someone with less of a stick up their . “Well, since we’re in a workplace, get to work. We don’t have all day if you want both,” he clicks his tongue in disapproval, using one hand to tug on the other’s tie while he holds his other up to look at his watch, “Mm, if I have to get a slice then I’ll feed it to you. Wouldn’t that be cute?” His tone was a little mocking as he smoothed his hands over the front of Doyoung’s suit before sinking to his knees and tapping the front of the other’s pants. “Come on.”

@✑ ten leechaiyakul Doyoung can almost feel the warmth of Ten's hands on his chest through his suit. He definitely feels the little hot puffs of Ten's breath against his lips as he leans in closer, and he narrows his eyes at Ten's teasing grin. "Of course I am. We are in a workplace, after all." he says, like that makes it okay. Come to think of it though, he's like that with every hook-up outside of work as well. Huh. He brushes the thought away as he turns to watch Ten lean against the sink, shrugging and glancing up at the clock ticking by. "I'd say we have enough time for both, if you're up for it. A little give and take. Plus, I'll eat the cake if you don't want it." Doyoung is the one with the actual sweet tooth after all. "Who first?"

@✑ kim dongyoung A hint of a pout settles on Ten’s lips as he steps closer to smooth out the tie himself just to give him a few more seconds of silence that he can use to lean into Doyoung’s space. “You should wear it more often. I like it,” he murmurs, glancing up at his coworker with a teasing grin, “Always straight to business. You’d think there’d be more .” His complaints were all in good fun as he leaned against the sink, hands settling onto the counter on either side of him as he tilted his head. “Yeah yeah, all the things I owe you, I know. You or me on the floor today? I promised I’d eat a slice of cake when I get back from lunch.”

@✑ ten leechaiyakul Jolting when he hears the click of the door opening and closing Doyoung quits his pacing. Normally he's not so nervous about this. Maybe it's because now they've got a camera crew walking around the office, and that's a lot more people to hide from. (Not that he isn't already aware that half the office has probably caught on by now. One of the managers with a horrible memory about NOT using the bathrooms at lunch time has caught them at least two times already.) Sniffing and watching Ten come closer Doyoung reaches up for the tie, adjusting it and then flattening it with his palm, "No, I just don't wear it that often." he says, rolling his eyes. "Anyways, the Fudge Stripes. Also the popcorn, bag of chips, two jelly candies, a bottle of sparkling water..." Doyoung recites the pilfered snacks off his hand, mostly to calm his nerves, and to remind Ten of what he needs to restock later because those are Doyoung's snacks dammit. "Am I forgetting anything?" There's a second meaning to that question, which he's sure Ten already knows well enough.

@✑ kim dongyoung Festivities in the office were never really Ten’s thing, but he had never felt so grateful for a nameless coworker as their birthday celebrations gave him a little more time than usual to enjoy his lunch break. Everyone in the office knew Ten always ate his lunch at his desk prior to the actual break assigned to him. It was the vixen’s personalized schedule as he practically skipped down the hall with a promise to eat a slice of cake when he got back. It was an empty promise, of course, but hopefully the cake would be gone by the time he returned that he didn’t need to worry about making an excuse for the sweet treat. Something sweeter was waiting for him among the bathroom stalls of their usual meetup place. “Doyoung.” He cooed as he entered the bathroom, not even bothering to lock the door behind him as he sauntered towards the other male, “I like your tie. Is it new?”

@✑ ten leechaiyakul Everyone at Jeong-Choi knows that you don't use the men's bathrooms on floor three during lunch time. Not unless you want to get an eyeful of Doyoung on his knees, or Ten on his knees and some form of public indecency from the both of them that has definitely already been reported, but never taken care of. Today they have a little over their usual half an hour rendezvous time, because someone in the office is having a birthday and everyone is celebrating with cake. Except for Doyoung, who's now loitering in the bathroom, checking himself in the mirrors and the harsh white lights, waiting for Ten to slink in through the door like he always does. (This time it was more than just the cookies taken from his snack drawer. Doyoung wonders if getting on his knees for Ten is an equal trade for a packet of Fudge Stripes, but he finds that he doesn't really care.)

Contrary to popular belief, Dohee didn't go to the bathroom a lot because she drinks a lot of water. She drinks a lot of water so she can go to the bathroom a lot. As the only bonafide, certified private time - meaning no eyes over her shoulder or mind-numbing smalltalk - the customer service rep relished in the opportunities to leave her desk and catch up on all of the good social media gossip and news. What would usually be a a couple of minutes usually became ten as she speedran through her Instagram and Twitter feeds; today was no different.

Not even a full hour after clocking in for the day, the young woman made her escape to the bathroom down the hall. When her vicious FOMO was officially sated, she prepared herself to leave...only to find the door jammed. "--" the swear came out hushed as she tried the lock once more. Then she tried a few more times, each failure punctuated with its own expletive and it was all followed by a few more just for good luck.

Refusing to call for help or end up stuck in the germ cubicle for too long, so as to save face, she began assessing her options. She could climb over the stall, but she was sure that it'd end up in her death...or at least a twisted ankle that she was NOT going to explain. Her gaze traveled to the gap at the bottom, shoulders immediately slumping as her only option dawned on her. Taking a steeling breath and pocketing her device, Dohee got down on all fours and crawled under the stall while mentally accounting for her personal can of disinfectant spray. She would most certainly be spraying her entire being the millisecond she got to her desk, maybe even a millisecond before. Time is relative.
