Changwook listened to Baekhyun and blinked at his generally aggressive attitude. He sighed. Oh no. He'd been paired with one of those. Great. No matter. He was a psychology. He dealt with people for a living and a non-friendly fellow professor would be a piece if cake compared to some of his patients. He sighed, "Nice to meet you Baekhyun. And of course I wouldn't knock it. A&P is one of the most important subjects to have some grasp of. I frankly believe more students should have to take a course on at least basic A&P." Maybe some flattery would help.

"And that... is why I'm excited to work with you. Psychology has so many aspects that reflect direct onto the A&P of humans that there is no way this course will be anything but interesting. Plus, I've heard wonderful things about you. So I'm sure if anyone will be able to create a great course, it will be you." He, of course, hadn't heard anything. He simply wanted to butter up the professor to hopefully make this experience a little more pleasant for himself.

@❁ changwook ʰᵉᵃˡᵉʳ as soon as the dean finished speaking, baekhyun stood up and slipped out of the office, not even bothering to wait for the other teacher. his mood had completely dropped, and he had no energy to waste on discussing the details of this class that would surely end up just being a joke.

to his dismay, however, the psychology professor was soon by his side, and baekhyun couldn't help the annoyed grunt that passed his plush lips. "i'm not quite sure how you can tell me that it's nice to meet me when you don't even know me. most people i come into contact with claim i'm their 'worst nightmare', and i'm quite satisfied with that," he grumbled, arms folding over his chest. "but since we're being forced to work with one another, i suppose you should be graced with knowing my name. i'm byun baekhyun, in charge of anatomy and physiology. i take pride in what i teach, so don't even think about knocking it."

@❃ baekhyun ᵇᵃᵉᵏᶦᵗᵗʸ The Dean smiled at them, clearly pleased, "Perfect. I hope to see what your plans are by mid-semester so we can finalize the course before finals period." He then thanked them and dismissed them.

Changwook hummed in excitement, finding the whole thing a good opportunity to show students how important psychology was. He smiled at Baekhyun, bowing slightly after they were out of the Dean's office, "Ah. Nice to meet you by the way. My name is Ji Changwook, and as I'm sure you gathered, I am a new Psychology professor here."

@❁ changwook ʰᵉᵃˡᵉʳ the kitten hybrid nearly groaned when the dean confirmed that the two teachers would indeed be collaborating and teaching the course together. it irked him more than anything since he preferred to be by himself, yet he couldn’t exactly say no when the dean was the one asking them to work alongside one another.

“i...i suppose that’s fine.” he cleared his throat softly. “just be aware that i’m usually on my own for everything, so it will be quite...different with a colleague.” baekhyun eyed the other male. he seemed harmless, but one could never be too sure. “but fine. i’m willing to try out this new course.”

@❃ baekhyun ᵇᵃᵉᵏᶦᵗᵗʸ The Dean nodded, "Precisely. We've done a few courses of this kind before and the format we've found is quite successful is for both professors to teach, switching off depending on the subject." He smiled at them, "Qell? What do you think?"

Changwook grinned, loving the idea. He nodded, "That sounds fantastic to me. I think students would benefit from seeing psychology from a more biological perspective." He looked at Baekhyun, "That us, of course, if you're also up for it."

@❁ changwook ʰᵉᵃˡᵉʳ baekhyun took his time gathering his things before standing up and following the other two men out of the meeting room and into the dean’s office. he sat down when instructed and crossed his legs, one over the other and leaned forward just a bit to engage himself in the conversation.

when the dean was finished talking, baekhyun sat in silence for a few moments before exhaling slowly. “the thought of a mixed class is a good one, and while i support the suggestion, i do have a question...” he motioned towards the psychology teacher without pulling his eyes from the dean. “will we be teaching this course together?”

@❃ baekhyun ᵇᵃᵉᵏᶦᵗᵗʸ Changwook nodded in agreement. He wondered what exactly the Dean would want him and the Anatomy teacher for. He had only been appointed as faculty over the summer so he really hadn't had a chance to do much else other than transfer his research and work on getting his classes in order. He also really hadn't met any of the other faculty yet. Maybe this meeting would allow him to meet someone new. That would be nice.

When the meeting was over he followed the Dean into his office. The man smiled at them, "Have a seat." He allowed them to do so and then began to speak, "As you know... our University prides itself on academic rigor and intellectually challenging courses. That being said, we would like to begin to offer more interdisciplinary courses so our students' critical thinking can be be enhanced. We thought that perhaps a course between you two, perhaps one melding psychology and the anatomy and physiology of the brain would be perfect for our goal. We would like for you all o design this course together to be offered next semester. What do you think?"

@❁ changwook ʰᵉᵃˡᵉʳ baekhyun looked up when he saw someone scurry in and plant themselves next to him. It wasn’t the first time seeing the other male, but he couldn’t quite place a name to the face. either way, he didn’t like when people were late, or cutting it close, so he scowled at the man before diverting his attention back to the dean of the school.

he took a few neatly written and detailed notes about changes and upcoming events, only to notice his name was said, and so he set down his pen and pursed his lips. “of course, sir,” the anatomy teacher replied politely, despite being rather displeased about having to work with another teacher. he preferred doing things on his own.

Wook rushed in a minute late into the meeting and looked around for an available seat. He finally spotted one next to who he recognized to be the Anatomy teacher. He rushed over and sat next to the male, just barely in time for the dean to walk in.

He listened intently to all the announcements until he realized the Dean was talking to him and, apparently, the Anatomy teacher. The Dean smiled at them, "Please meet me after the meeting. I have something to discuss with you two."

@❁ changwook ʰᵉᵃˡᵉʳ baekhyun’s left brow twitched out of annoyance as the fitness teacher shamelessly flirted in his ear, blabbering on about how he placed eleventh in the marathon he ran this past weekend. needless to say, baekhyun wasn’t impressed in the slightest. just as he was about to tell the
man off, the principal stepped to the front of the room and cleared his throat, gaining the attention of everyone — and luckily, that shut up the other teacher who continued to yammer in baekhyun’s ear.
