@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ "I'm not being jealous," Baekhyun whined. He just really, really wanted full commitment with Jackson. His grin widened when Jackson leaned into the role, and he relaxed his legs to allow Jackson's hand between them. "I want a baby," he slurred, bringing back one of their favourite ways to play as he pushed his hips into Jackson's waist. It was exciting to pretend like they were trying for a baby on their honeymoon, and the alcohol helped Baekhyun with the immersion. "Two boys. Yeobo...!"

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ "Anae," Jackson called Baekhyun back, immersing himself into the role of the husband easily and eagerly. He pressed his hips downwards, teasing Baekhyun with his own tenting as they stared into each other's eyes. "I didn't know you'd be such a cutie when you're jealous. It brought out something unexpected from you," he murmured. Since Baekhyun was already stroking his face, Jackson decided to get them started by running his hands down the younger's chest and onto his hips. He hooked a finger against the elastic band of Baekhyun's shorts and pulled downwards, feeling the soft, milky skin as the back of his hand pressed against Baekhyun's thighs. "You want something, my little wife?" he asked, kissing the tip of Baekhyun's nose, "Tell your husband, and I'll make sure to give you."

Then he realized that the sooner he accepted it, the sooner Jackson might propose, so he nodded obediently, spreading his legs and hooking his knees around Jackson's hips when he was pressed down. "I like that," he said with a giggle, cupping Jackson's face with both his hands, touching as he pleased. "Then Jiwoong would know to stay away." He pulled at Jackson's waist with his legs wrapped around his lower back, forcing Jackson to press up against his nether region. Beneath the thin cloth of his shorts, Baekhyun was already half-aroused from the touch and the talk. He wrapped his arms around Jackson's neck. "Yeobo..."

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ Marriage had always sounded more of like an obligation that took a copious amount of commitment to Jackson's ears. But now marriage was starting to sound like a chance for an even more appealing term of endearment. He grinned as he kissed Baekhyun's lips, arching his brows suggestively. "I do like it. Does that mean you'll be my wife?" he asked. "I could go around telling people I have a wife at home." he said, feeling just a tiny bit foreign to say that word from his own mouth. Jackson turned his body, flipping them so that Baekhyun would be pressed beneath him. He turned the question back onto Baekhyun, "What about you, do you like that?"

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ Baekhyun willingly moved closer while he rewinded back to what he just said that got Jackson so excited, staring dumbly back at Jackson before it dawned on him. He grinned, cupping Jackson's cheek against his palm and thumbing lightly over his cheekbone. "Husband," he murmured, practically purring as he pushed his knee between Jackson's thighs. Since he wasn't feeling so nauseous anymore, Baekhyun managed a tiny flutter of a kiss against Jackson's lips. "Do you like that?"

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ Baekhyun's indignance was getting a little bit out of hand. Weren't they supposed to be in bed and sleeping peacefully by now? Jackson didn't quite understand how the younger could be so fixated on a problem that clearly didn't exist to begin with. "What did I want?" he asked, raising a brow. How could he remember what it was like when they /first/ met? He and Baekhyun had not started their steady relationship until quite a ways into their friendship. At least, that's how he saw it. And as he was trying to think of a reasonable answer, Baekhyun's slip of the tongue made his cheeks go numb. "Wait, what did you just call me?" he asked, taking Baekhyun by his wrist, pulling him close. "Say it again."

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ "Well... I got really excited at six for you to come back," Baekhyun mumbled, unhappy with how casually Jackson brushed it off. If he could lie about açai bowls, then what else was he capable of lying about? When Jackson brought his hand to his mouth, Baekhyun stuck two of his fingers past Jackson's lips. "What do you want between us?" he continued to interrogate, not one bit sleepy despite how much he had to drink. "Tell me what you wanted every year since the year we met. Start in... two-thousand-one? April... What did you want then? And then what did you want in April Twenty-two? And then April twenty-three. And then now." Baekhyun gasped quietly. "Happy almost three years since we met, husband. I mean, hyung."

Baekhyun was the troublesome type of drunk. Of course sine they had to work often and they didn't go out to drink when they spent time together, Jackson had forgotten this side of his boyfriend. Was it cute? Absolutely. Was it going to keep him up later than he should be up? For sure. He chuckled as he accepted all of the younger's cases against him, murmuring, "Okay...I lied about those," he said, "Those trivial little things are not worth my brainpower to follow through on." He pulled Baekhyun's hand up to his lips, kissing it gently, "But I wouldn't lie to you baby. Not about my feelings, not about what I want between us." He made sure Baekhyun's half-lidded eyes could stare right back into his, so that his boyfriend could feel his sincerity, "You know that right?"

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ Baekhyun's head spun again, and he rolled to lie on his back, his hand still tightly clutching Jackson's. He wanted to bring up Jiwoong again, since he wasn't very convinced, and he ended up mumbling something incoherent about the topic before he said coherently, "I don't believe you." Then he decided to let his intrusive thoughts win, brought Jackson's hand up to his mouth, and bit the hand of his hand. "You're always lying," Baekhyun slurred. "Last week you told me you'd come home at six... then you came at seven. And then the week before you said you're gonna get an açai bowl for lunch... but you got a poke bowl instead."

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ Since Baekhyun seemed satisfied with his answer, Jackson continued on without elaborating more. Once they finished their shower and Jackson had finished his skincare routine, he joined Baekhyun in bed. It was nice to have the younger tucked back against him again, especially after the turbulent day that they had. Late as it was, they chose not to sleep yet, instead indulging in yet another conversation. "No baby," Jackson promised Baekhyun, leaning down to kiss his head. "Again, I know the difference between your words and your family's words okay?" He smiled and took Baekhyun's hand, intertwining their fingers, "And you need to know that I love you for you, not for your family or your past, okay?"

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ Baekhyun was not in a hurry, per se, but the sooner Jackson committed, the better Baekhyun would feel. He didn't know how to elaborate that fact to Jackson, so he just blinked sleepily at the older before refocusing his efforts on showering. Between the two of them, Baekhyun managed to wash up and dress in a clean outfit before stumbling to bed, where Mongryong was already curled up at the foot of it. It had been an extremely long day, but Baekhyun wasn't sure if he was ready to sleep yet, even if his mind was begging for the sweet release of unconsciousness. When Jackson joined him, Baekhyun tucked himself against him. "You're really... not mad at me?"

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ "Are you sure?" Jackson asked, a little hesitant to let Baekhyun back into the shower until he stopped heaving. Once they were back inside though, the sense of calm that he had earlier was now replaced by a sense of urgency to quickly shower Baekhyun so that he could be dry and next to the toilet if something did have to come out of him. As he lathered soap into Baekhyun's hair, the younger suddenly leaned onto him and Jackson had to catch him with his sudsy hands. "Hm?" he asked, not even fazed by the question that came from the younger. "Of course I'll propose to you. All in due time baby." He smiled as he said this, finding it rather adorable that Baekhyun was thinking about marriage with him so soon, "Are you in a hurry though?"

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ Baekhyun's throat convulsed, and he gagged once, but nothing came out. He whimpered and wiped at his mouth with the back of his wrist. "Never mind... I'm okay," he mumbled, standing shakily with Jackson's help. There was no way in Hell he would admit to his tolerance worsening. "Shower?" Once they were back in the shower stall, Baekhyun even turned the water back on for them, barely flinching when water hit his face. "Hyung." He reached out, then leaned his weight against Jackson. "Will you propose to me?"

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ Jackson was looking forward to showering and then getting back to their own bed. He wanted to sleep without the thought of being judged by other people in the house. So, just as he stepped into the shower, he had fully intended on relax and just bathe Baekhyun leisurely. It turned out that Baekhyun did not have the same idea as him. "What? Are you serious?" Jackson asked, bending to pick Baekhyun up. "Come to the toilet," he hurriedly rushed the younger, pulling Baekhyun out of the tub and bending him over the toilet. He d the younger's back, trying to help whatever that was sitting uncomfortably inside him to come out. Jackson turned the water off in the shower, murmuring to himself, "You didn't have /that/ much to drink. Was it something bad we ate baby?" he asked.

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ "It's 'Sleeping Beauty'," Baekhyun corrected Jackson's odd phrasing. Turning up the heating for the tiled shower floor, Baekhyun sank down to take a seat in the corner beneath the rain of water, barely able to keep his eyes open, much less lift his hands to wash. His tolerance only seemed to get worse with age, but Baekhyun refused to admit it yet. He leaned his head against the wall, his breaths laboured as stars spun in his vision. "I'm gonna throw up," Baekhyun mumbled when Jackson returned to the shower.

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ "Yes baby, I'll eat lunch with you," Jackson promised Baekhyun, kissing his forehead when the younger finally gave in. He held Baekhyun upright, then brushed his bangs to a side, "Come on, let's shower together." He couldn't help a chuckle as he accepted the anger. "Okay, it's my fault, you have every right to be angry. Let's go now, my sleepy princess." Leading Baekhyun into the shower, Jackson the already hot water and helped him in first before joining Baekhyun once he got their pajamas prepared.

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ Baekhyun felt so dizzy. He let Jackson hold him, too tired to struggle anymore. "So are you gonna eat lunch with me from now on?" he asked, miserable when he thought of all the time he sat in the cafeteria alone since that Jiwoong joined the company. Of course, he did not doubt Jackson's love for him, but there were always so many factors that could and would end them, because Baekhyun, of all people, knew love was not enough. "I love you too," he slurred, "But I'm still mad at you."

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ "I- Well, no that's not what I'm trying to say," Jackson stammered, a little dumbfounded at how his own argument had been turned against him. "Look baby, I'm not interested in Jiwoong. Just you," he said, though it seemed Baekhyun had stopped listening to him already as the younger slinked off to shower. "Hey." Jackson called out, his tone hardening as he got up to follow Baekhyun, grabbing his wrist. "Come here." Without room for rejection, he pulled Baekhyun flush against his chest, and cupped the back of the other's head to hold him in place. "Listen." Jackson said again, firmly, "I'm not dating anyone but you. You can sulk and push all you want, but I'm not letting you go. You can scold me and be upset at me for not giving you the time you deserve, but don't ever doubt me. I only love you."

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ "So you're saying having lunch ends up in dating," Baekhyun said when Jackson brought up Yibo, of all people. Jackson was only further proving a point that eating lunch together every day would lead to dating. The thought of it gave Baekhyun a headache, and he ended up lying down again, turning his face into a couch cushion to hide his upset expression. "I'm going to take a shower," he said with a resigned sigh, picking upsell up and dragging himself off the couch.

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ "Hey...didn't Yibo go off to have lunch with his manager pretty often before they started dating?" Jackson asked Baekhyun, trying to help the younger see some inconsistencies in his rationale, "Are you calling your best friend a loser?" He raised a brow as he was shoved back again, watching as Baekhyun repelled him. "You have such a busy schedule because of your comeback. I just thought you'd be working." he admitted honestly. The next line from Baekhyun though, caught Jackson off guard. "Uhm...so what if they didn't mind? I'm not trying to impress them, now am I?"

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ "I wasn't struggling!" Baekhyun cried. He didn't like a lot of people at the company, but there was a difference between that and /struggling/. "I chose not to have friends. Jiwoong is a loser. You're ten years older than him and he only wants to eat lunch with you. And you actually put up with it. Do you even wonder where I am at lunch?" Now that he was on a roll, he spoke coherently. When Jackson held him again, he struggled even more viciously, rolling to turn his back to Jackson, hurt welling in his chest. "I bet Jiwoong's parents wouldn't mind if you were Chinese," he sniffled.

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ Jackson didn't realize that he was being accused until he saw Baekhyun's sulking pout. He stared at the younger, confused as to why he was being pushed away. "What? The trainee that just joined the company a few months back, that Jiwoong?" he asked, frozen as he tried to process how Baekhyun could possibly interpret Jackson's /courtesy/ as interest for the other trainee. "Baby, if you don't want me to eat lunch with him, I'll find an excuse to leave when he drops by to eat lunch with me. I only eat with him because he's having a hard time getting along with the rest of the trainees." Jackson didn't like being separated from Baekhyun for long, so he pulled the younger close to him again, "Just like when you were struggling until you met Yibo." He smiled and gently brushed the tip of Baekhyun's round nose with his finger, "You should've told me sooner. Next time I'll wait for you and we'll eat together, okay? What other complaints do you have about me, my love?"

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ Baekhyun fidgeted, but settled quickly so he could focus on providing an answer. "It's not silly," he defended crossly. He had been so busy lately he often avoided bringing up his grievances, not wanting their little time together to be filled with complaints, but now that he was a little inebriated, he might as well use that as an excuse to bring it up. "'Cause you like Jiwoong, right?" As warm as Jackson's embrace was, Baekhyun pushed away, sitting up so Jackson could see he was serious about the boundary-stepping trainee. "Every time I want to have lunch with you, you're already eating with him." The more he talked, the more Baekhyun's voice wobbled. "And then I eat lunch by myself!"

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ Jackson thought he'd be greeted by the sight of a sleeping Baekhyun when he finished washing Mongryong, but instead, his boyfriend had somehow found the strength to sit himself back up. And on top of that, he seemed rather discontent with the fact that Jackson had washed Mongryong without him. As he was attacked with a barrage of questions, Jackson ultimately responded with a laugh in amusement and disbelief. "What? Where did you get that silly idea from?" he asked, removing his shirt and throwing it on the floor since it was wet from Mongryong's shower water. He gathered Baekhyun against his bare chest and hugged his boyfriend tightly, "You're so silly, why would you think I don't like you anymore?"

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ Baekhyun didn't want to wait. Washing Mongryong was a bonding activity. He tried to open his eyes, but by the time he managed, Mongryong had been washed. Baekhyun could tell, because the dog went and hid under the coffee table, where he thought no one could get to him. Baekhyun forced himself to sit up, even if it was the most painful thing he'd felt to date. "You didn't wait for me again." Baekhyun scowled when Jackson returned to the living room. "Why...? Why are you trying to leave me?" Baekhyun thought of his worries from earlier, and his lips turned down at the corners. "You don't like me anymore?"

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ Baekhyun was delightfully sulky when he found out that he had been carried all the way home, so Jackson could only continue to tease his boyfriend for it. "Oh and let you stumble into some bushes? Or trip over a curb? You're so out of it that you're basically teetering at this point," he said, seeing how Baekhyun proved his words correct when he stumbled over to the couch. Jackson chuckled at Baekhyun's odd word choice, bending over the couch to press a kiss on the younger's soft cheek, "You wait here baby. I'll clean Mongryong, then I'll come get you and we'll wash up together." He didn't leave Baekhyun with much room to argue, since he knew the younger would probably doze off faster. Picking Mongryong up so his feet wouldn't wipe over the carpet, Jackson brought their sulking puppy into the bathtub to scrub his paws and his bottom, making sure to towel him off before letting him go.

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ When Baekhyun opened his eyes again, they were home. His head still spun from the alcohol, but he was clearheaded enough to glare accusingly at Jackson. "I told you to let me walk halfway," he said, kicking off his shoes and stumbling into the living room, veering left and right before finding the couch and falling face first into it. It felt so comfortable, after a cool walk out, and Baekhyun just wanted to continue sleeping right then and there. "Oh no," he mumbled with his eyes closed, nonsensical. "We have to wash Mongryong's again. He probably has a dingleberry. Help me up..."

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ Jackson made sure that Baekhyun was securely situated on his back before he even tried to stand back up. With the younger's legs hooked around his waist, Jackson stood up like he was lifting himself from a squat, then hoisted Baekhyun upwards before he started walking. He could feel Baekhyun's warm breath against his neck and the younger seemed to be dozing off right against him. "Mm, you hold Mongryong's leash," Jackson said, handing it over though he kept the leash wound around his own wrist just in case Baekhyun fell asleep on the job. Jackson ambled back towards their home. He tried to keep a steady pace to rock Baekhyun gently, and he chuckled as he could hear how the younger's breath was getting even. What did Baekhyun think, that Jackson was going to drop him down halfway and make him walk the rest of the way home? Jackson didn't even consider that option, and didn't call out to the younger until they had safely arrived at the front door, with Mongryong pawing anxiously to escape the cold and get inside.

@✵ jackson wang ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ Normally, Baekhyun would refuse to put his entire weight over Jackson's back. But now, tipsy from his dinner, that broad back looked extremely inviting. He straddled Jackson's waist and slung his arms over his shoulders, immediately finding a comfortable spot to rest his cheek against. Lying on his boyfriend's back like this, Baekhyun could fall asleep any moment. "Halfway." Baekhyun remembered to compromise in a mumble, tightening his arms around Jackson's neck when he felt them rise. "You'll hurt your back... Let me hold Mongryong's leash."

@✵ byun baekhyun ²⁰/²⁰ Their servings of meat were cooked one after another, and their plates stayed relatively empty too. Baekhyun was eating well, which was what Jackson cared about the most. For the most part, he tried not to drink unless there was a good reason to, which meant that he and Baekhyun didn't often drink together. And it was even less likely of them to drink in public too. Jackson sipped at a beer alongside the younger, but it wasn't enough to get him drunk. Once Baekhyun had gotten his fill and Jackson had cleared up the rest of the meat and side dishes around their grill, they paid and left the restaurant, practically glued to each other. He chuckled as Baekhyun began to whine about the walk home. "Well, Mongryong has to walk...but..." he trailed off, then let go of Baekhyun's hand. Jackson stood in front of Baekhyun, his back to the younger, and he crouched down, "Get on, hyung will carry you home tonight."
