But she supposes the simply unfortunate mishaps today warrant a good, strong drink to let herself forget what an embarrassment her subordinate had made himself to be earlier. While she is clearly an /extremely/ patient lady (anyone who dares say otherwise has not yet seen what her anger is capable of), it is easy to cut her thread of patience with incompetence.

She's sat on one of the high stools by the counter, one leg on top of the other, with an arm folded atop the cool surface. A glass of vice is held delicately yet securely by a hand, lifted just a bit from the counter. There is barely any left in her glass, the only trace of it being the way her body now certainly feels warmer. How many glasses has she had?

Not that many, but enough for the warmth to settle down as a slightly comfortable veil. She moves her hand to her chin, leaning her face against the back of her palm as a finger caresses the glass she has in her hold—and she sighs softly. She is in dire need of a distraction, entertainment to keep her mind off the embarrassment she witnessed earlier.

A thought comes to mind then: is a certain man going to drop by tonight, she wonders. He would certainly be a good distraction, a good breath of air from that unfortunate little thing she's had to bring along earlier.
