Outside of the capital, the Southersands rest in the southeastern desert leading to Lyren. Compared to Norsand, it's fairly smaller and safer to traverse through. The waystone for this section of the region lies in a tiny village called "Ver Village" at the edge of the desert and leading into Lyren. Just before you reach that village, however, you'd have to cross the Soulsea—a sandy plain covered in old buildings and weapons said to have many souls still lurking around or haunting the land. Most people who cross the Soulsea cannot do so without seeing at least one malicious spirit that wants to do them harm.
