Chanwoo had worked different shifts at the bed and breakfast, as sometime the guests would need something over night and someone would need to take care of them. Chanwoo was lucky that his family owned the place, and they were okay with naps as long as you answered the phone anytime it rung or were able to hear a guest coming, as he would never survive on the first night shifts that he had.
Chanwoo would spend his time playing video games at night time to make sure he was aware enough but wasn’t bored the entire night. It must have been 3 in the morning when Chanwoo was lost in the story of his game when he heard a loud crashing in the kitchen. Nearly jumping out of his skin Chanwoo clenched his chest, letting out some breaths. He hadn’t heard or seen anyone pass by so he was cautious with moving toward the kitchen his game controller still in hand.
“Is there someone in there?” His voice was shaking as he called out, his eyes dancing around the dark room as he was too scared to turn on the light.
